The metal was done by drybrushing Rub n Buff Silver Leaf and then shaded with a wash made from Vallejo Black and Blue inks mixed with Vallejo Retarder Medium.

The Rogue Trader has had some more work done to him. He has a few more details like an auspex, heraldic shield and more scrolls that may contain his charter. Also small cable on his head.

These swords will make a fine addition to my collection

Just another quick preview of some upcoming bitz. This time it is some basic swords. One 1-handed longsword and two massive 2-handed sword. In the second pic I did add some Games Workshop Swords for size comparison. (I did blur/pixel them out and coloured them in a lightly red, just so that nobody gets confused and mistakes them for my products.) Oh and just so that you guys know: The shop is not yet live unfortunately. It is ready basically and only needs some more proper testing and a check by some lawyers if all legal requirements are fullfilled. (Can’t be cautious enough these days unfortunately.) And now for a man who needs no introduction: Belial, Master of the Deathwing, decked out with thunder hammer and storm shield. I’ve also got him with his sword, though I used this setup for this chap almost exclusively back in 7th Ed.

One of my favourite sculpts to be released this year from Corvus Belli. The mighty (and spooky) Avatar TAG from Infinity. This one took me a good 2 days worth of time to work on but I’m happy with the results. 

“My name is Nathaniel Garro, and I am a Legion of One” The second Horus Heresy character series model I’ve ever painted, Nathaniel Garro. I personally really started liking Garro and his story when his audio dramas started to be released, highlighting his adventures to recruit the Knights-Errant. 

Star Wars Armada being my 2nd most played game, I decided to take the Cymoon Refit (to be released in the Chimaera expansion) for a spin. With Vader as commander, Devastator title, XI7s and spinal armament, the ISD was able to obliterate 2 Nebulon Bs in 1 round of shooting.
