You know the best part about Floyd and Jade's favorite food being octopus?
Octopus can grow their limbs back.
God bless the economy

Yup that’s my favorite gangster eel right there being kind of a jerk like always lol
(I’d be super interested to know how this was written in Japanese if anyone happens to know, actually)

To no one’s surprise more than my own, I finished the second chapter of this thing. :)

I’ve also put up the first chapter of a new fic I’m working on :)
Game for Two to Seven Players
Azul Ashengrotto has a hopeless crush on Jamil Viper; Idia Shroud has a hopeless crush on the Prefect from Ramshackle Dorm. Azul and Idia may talk during club activities now and then, even about kind of personal stuff, but they’re definitely not friends, okay?
Meanwhile, what might be called wingmen work in the shadows to help Azul and Idia reach their goals, or to achieve goals of their own, or just fsk with people’s heads, for whatever reasons they do such things.

TWST Alchemy Lab
Whether we're freaking out over new JP spoilers or trying to avoid JP spoilers, I figured I'd put up a little distraction -- I made an alchemy lab for my TWST Nendoroids :)
Many more pictures and info for fellow dorks under the cut.
Here it is in all its glory:
To see things a little better, here's a picture in very bright light:
I built this in one of those wall-mounted Ikea dollhouses. If you make similar stuff, try to track one down! You get four big display spaces for about $40. Unfortunately post-COVID they seem hard to find in store....
The shelves themselves are made from basswood and painted dark brown, then dry brushed with black to age them. The stuff on the shelves is a combination of things I made and things from my 20+-year collection of Re-ment and other similar candy toys.
I worked by screenshotting the lab in the game, making a list of items that needed to be reproduced, and then making them. Of course, I wasn't making a perfect replica, but it lines up fairly well. For example:
To make stuff, I used a lot of polymer clay, some leftover parts I had from a Mimo Circle M Convenience Store set, and a big bag of no-brand bottles from Amazon. I can't begin to say where I got all the Re-ment, but big contributors were this, this, this, this, this, and this.
I had a cauldron I liked from one of the above sets, but no fire to go with it, so I threw some together out of polymer clay:
It took a couple of months to finish everything XD; but I'm pretty pleased with it! And it's kind of awesome for Nendo photographs, no matter how bad a photographer I am.
You can have the aftermath when Riddle makes a small mistake, Azul laughs, and Riddle goes ballistic:
Or Jade being brilliant and Floyd celebrating that:
Or Vil and Leona seething with grumpiness/UST/whatever that is between them:
So yes....I made a thing. Now to buy the rest of the TWST Nendoroids.... :)
