What started as an April fool's joke resulted in having done the legwork to make sure I could actually do something about it if people liked it. So, this is going to be a limited pre-order. This is it. It will go into production once we reach the minimum and if the minimum isn't reached then everything will be refunded. If the minimum is reached, it will go into production and be sent out later this spring.
Pre-order starts April 15th and ends April 30. If you want this, don't hesitate because I will make no more than 100 of this palette and will not do a reorder.

OFMD Fanfic Recs - Part I
I’ve been wanting to do this for a while because there are so many amazing Our Flag Means Death fanfics that I’ve started keeping track of my favourites on a spreadsheet. I have many, but I wanted to share a few of my favourite finished AUs today. I'll share more soon.
“Best Ghost Weekend Ever” by tardigrape: Ghost hunter Stede visits an old hotel where Ed is working as a photojournalist.
“The Merry Strays of Lighthouse Sanctuary” by @xoxoemynn: A series about a magical house where people get the perfect pets for them. Animals, found family, magic, love… what else could you want?
“you’ll marry a music man” by @soft-october-night: Series where Ed’s part of a famous band. Stede’s cover of one of their old songs becomes popular, and Calico Jack starts drama on Twitter. Ed, who actually liked the cover, tries to apologize.
“I adore seafood” by @bizarrelittlemew: Set in the 19th Century, Lucius helps Stede write an ad looking for a companion; Ed answers, but he’s trying to find out whether Stede is aware of what he’s actually asking for. The more Stede talks, the more confused he is.
“Fox Fires” by @bonnetpetit and @smolbus: SMAU in which Stede visits Finland to see the Northern Lights and achieve at least one of his big dreams before he takes over his father’s company. His plans get derailed when he meets tour guide and former Snocross champion Edward Teach.
“Baseball boys” by @beabonnet: Series of the popular “Love on Deck” SMAU. Ed is the Pirates’ catcher and set on disliking the new pitcher, Stede Bonnet. However, that’s gonna be more difficult than he expected.
“seven point three miles” by foxtails: A Firewatcher AU series. After his divorce, Stede takes a job as a remote forest fire lookout. Edward Teach is the lookout on the other side of the forest, an expert who tries to help him in the distance.
“The Treasure Map” by @manic-fanfic: A little girl dressed as a pirate sneaks into Ed’s pub and changes his life. One of those sweet and wonderful Modern AUs with Stepdad Ed.
“Teach Marina” by moosh: Another of those sweet and wonderful Modern AUs with Stepdad Ed. In this series, Ed owns a Marina and Stede turns up one day asking for some sailing lessons.
“Different Names for the Same Thing” by @oatmilktruther: Ed and Stede’s first year anniversary is getting closer. Ed is the happiest he’s ever been. Stede could be happier if he knew he was in a relationship.

Taking enemy officers hostage and ransoming them back is a established tradition in European politics (and I'm sure elsewhere as well). "I have your king, I want x amount of money and you have to promise y and z, then I'll give him back" has been a legitimate diplomatic tactic since forever (yes not even kings were exempt from this). Even today, prisoner exchanges still happen. On no level is this even remotely similar to slavery.
Selling English aristocrats for money is cool and fine actually. You're allowed to do that. Many people don't know this.
Stede yelling "Man For Sale!!" while he leads him around the republic of pirates on a leash is Hornberry's most treasured memory. He jacks off to it daily.
