Teddy Bear Sleep Well Spell for Someone Afraid of the Dark 🧸🌿
Tumblr media
This is a great (and fun) project to altar a teddy bear for yourself or for someone who is afraid of the dark, having trouble sleeping at night, suffering from night terrors, or just needs some extra comfort at night. This is a good spell to do for children who need an extra boost of courage at bedtime if they’re afraid of the dark.
You Will Need:
A teddy bear of your choice (you could really use any kind of stuffed animal or rag doll of your choice, though!)
Needle and thread
Blue ribbon
Small howlite stone
Small rose quartz stone
Dried lavender
Dried chamomile flowers
For the Spell 🧸🧵
Find a seam on the back of your teddy bear or other discreet area near the torso and cut a two inch opening if possible. Remove a little of the stuffing to make room for the stones and dried flowers.
Stuff the howlite and rose quartz stones into the bear along with the lavender and chamomile flowers. Not only will the stones soothe and comfort the snuggler of the bear, but the dried flowers will smell amazing.
Try to put a little bit of the stuffing you removed back into the teddy bear if possible to help cover up the stones. Then, sew the hole shut to the best of your ability.
As you sew, weave a little bit of your intentions into each stitch and fill it with loving energy. Recite: “Teddy Bear magic as we sleep, good dreams in the night we shall keep. Blessed be us as we sleep.”
Tie a blue ribbon around its neck to symbolize peace and sleep.
Give the teddy bear to the intended person, let them know it’s been hand stitched by you and woven with your loving energy, and that it will bring them comfort and peace as they sleep at night. You may also want to teach them the spell so they can recite it themselves before they go to sleep each night too.
