From the day you’re brought into the world,
To the day you’re laid in stone.
You will folly and suffer so often,
Mistakes you must atone.
You drown in the darkness, too far to see the light,
You often lose all hope,
As salvation slips from sight.
It’s like you can’t breath, and are being crushed by the weight of the sea.
Yet I promise you’ll breath easy again,
And this is not what your fate will be.
For this is the promise He made to us,
You will see it fulfilled in the end.
You will be saved from the grip of death,
And your wounds He shall mend.

“It’s good to give glory to God, without seeking a foretaste (wife, children, honors...) of that glory which we will enjoy fully with him in the eternal life...
Besides, he is generous. He returns a hundredfold; and this is true even of children. Many deprive themselves of children for the sake of his glory, and they have thousands of children of their spirit - children, as we are children of our Father in heaven.”
- St. Josemaria Escriva, “The Glory of God” from The Way, #779
