This this this!! Idk how y’all think he’s boring, he’s kind of a messy bitch (gestures to him w/ Thaddeus).
He doesn’t fully get it together until towards the end like… he was a LEWSER playing hero until he actually became one!
I love that Maximus is a heroic character, but in a way that's flawed, relatable, and human. I think the scene that sold me was him rushing to save Knight Titus, and immediately stopping once it's clear he's going to scapegoat his ass. Like yes, actually, I think that's what most of us would have done. I sure af would have.
Also I like that on one hand he's grateful to the BoS for rescuing him, but he's not a fanatic. When he and Lucy found Vault 4, I assumed he was going to hate it no matter what for simply not being the BoS. But same as her, he's willing to learn from the world around him, and change his mind. By the end of season 1, he's gone from wanting to be a Knight to wanting Happily Ever After with his sweetie in a vault.
Anyway, I'm blocking anyone who says Maximus is boring. He's not boring, you're just racist.

I love to think of Leona being a lil manipulator when he likes someone. He REFUSES to admit that he’s doing these things, but he definitely is and everyone clocks it 🙈‼️
Leona likes putting Selene in situations where he’s needed, or that he’s conveniently available for her.
Ex: Overhearing that she needs help with a certain alchemy potion? He’s gonna hover around and try to nab her cauldron or the cauldron next to her to help. ~~Even if it means intimidating the other students into moving 💀~~
About to go to Azul for help for a study packet? Skips class to show up to the Mostro Lounge to intercept. 💀
Taking her to the infirmary after she passed out for some ailment? He’s gonna position himself in her line of view so he’s the first face she sees when he wakes up.

they laugh at your jokes and flutter their eyelashes all pretty-like while they’re listening to you and are paying attention extra hard. are fixing their hair in the mirror whenever they go to the restroom even though they’d never bother otherwise. are draping their arm across your chair, pretending they’re just trying to get more comfortable. even the sound of their voice changes slightly whenever they’re focused on you.
also, they show off their neck by undoing the top button of their shirt and sometimes readjust their belt, hoping that you’ll take a peek while they do it.

OOH?! NEW TWST OC!??
Yes indeed~! So idk if many of you read Selene’s one-shot (if you haven’t go check it out! It has a NSFW warning because of a lil nipple lol), but she had a best friend named Mauve that passed away shortly before she attended NRC.
Well, this is Mauve’s twin brother, Maddox! He attends RSA and is an integral part to the tragedy surrounding his sister’s death. He’s a well-meaning guy, super talented, but a little lost (as well as a bit of a himbo!)
Maddox used to lean on Mauve when they were children, him being the more shy and aloof younger twin. He opted to spend more time with his male cousins and neighbors despite being nudged to interact with Selene to curry favor with her.
He never wanted to interfere between Selene and Mauve’s friendship, though both girls would happily include him whenever he showed interest. It was through them that he was able to become more confident in himself.
But now that Mauve’s gone, what does that mean for him and Selene?
I’m so excited to walk through and share their story with all of you! Hope you like it!
