absolutely nothing irks me like the “kanej smut is a sin” crowd. like, do you genuinely think people spend their entire lives defined by their trauma? did you ignore kaz’s clear desire for inej in the bathroom scene?
and you know what even if you choose to ignore those scenes, can you not see something you dislike on ao3 or wattpad and scroll past it? why do you have to disrespect fanfic authors (who write what they want for, you know, free) by complaining about their work?
nobody is going salute you for gatekeeping people who like to see kanej recovering from their trauma in a particular way and i absolutely promise nobody is holding a knife to your throat and forcing you to look at it either
