Avatar 2 Theory
I'm not sure if anyone else has posted about this, but I haven't seen anyone else voice this theory, so here we go.
Ok, so this has been floating around in my head for a while, since the official trailer was released.
At first I thought that Kiri (Jake and Neytiri's adopted daughter) might have been Grace Augustine reborn from Eywa. Kind of like Pandoran Jesus or Anakin Skywalker. The fact that she's voiced by Sigourney Weaver was the main reason why I thought this.
Maybe Eywa was just in a silly goofy mood and was like, "Nah, I'll just save you for later". And I've seen some people do an overlay of a younger Sigourney Weaver's face over Kiri's and they do look the same, if not very similar.
But, then the other day, I remembered that I had read something somewhere about Grace having a Na'vi boyfriend. And when I remembered this, that's when the lightbulb went off.
Kiri isn't Grace Augustine reborn. She's Grace's daughter. Grace's avatar body was pregnant before she died. And this would explain why Kiri has avatar features (five fingers and eyebrows), why Jake and Neytiri adopted her (they loved Grace) and why she would have a strong connection to Eywa (because Grace still lives within Eywa).
There are also some promotional pictures that were released that show Kiri watching a recording of Grace in what looks to be an old human bunker/science facility.
If she is Grace's daughter, I'm going to assume that Jake and Neytiri haven't made it a secret as to who her mother is and she's curious about what kind of person Grace was.
I'm also going to assume that Grace's avatar body was put back into one of those growth tubes where they initially grow the avatars so that Kiri could be carried to term and delivered. I think I saw a picture of Kiri looking into one of those tubes, with a body inside and people online were speculating that it was Grace's body. Which didn't make sense to me at the time, because why would they have preserved Grace's body if Grace was dead and no one else could drive the avatar. But it would make sense if it was discovered that the body had been pregnant, so they kept the body alive for the baby's sake.
I'm gonna call it now: Kiri is Grace's daughter, born from her avatar body and that's why Sigourney Weaver came back to voice her.

This is why I don't respect anyone who proudly claims to be anti-vaxx. Countless lives lost, unfathomable grief and suffering from the people left behind, people dedicating their lives to working towards making sure that that more people don't have to have the same experiences.... And anti-vaxxers think they know better.
They think they know better cause they've never had to watch someone die from rabies. Or cholera. Or anthrax. Or TB. Or diphtheria.
Basically spitting in the faces of these people who risked everything to save lives and to be saved themselves with the help of vaccines.
Saying that these efforts were basically meaningless cause their immune systems should be able to take care of whatever comes their way.
Anti-vaxxers are entitled jackasses who don't know just how lucky they are to have had vaccines available to them.
sorry if i’m being a party pooper but because rabies is apparently the new joke on here ??? please remember that rabies has an almost 100% fatality rate after symptoms develop so if you’re bitten or scratched by an animal that you aren’t 100% sure is vaccinated then GO TO A DOCTOR. it’s not a joke. really.

Stranger Things 4 Theory Time
So the first 8 minutes of season 4 was released today and it’s got me thinking.....

So I think the obvious assumption that’s gonna be made here by audiences is that Eleven is the once responsible for the deaths of the other kids and staff at Hawkins Lab.
However, some details about the first eight minutes stood out to me.
First, the noises being made. While we didn’t see anything during the attack, we can hear what sounds like the screech of a demogorgan. Or something demo-esque.
Second, when Brenner come upon Eleven in the Rainbow Room, she has her back turned to him and she’s looking at the interior of a room. On the wall across from her is a noticeable crack that resembles the Gate to the Upside Down.
Third, Eleven’s eyes are bleeding. This is unusual as we’ve never seen this from her before, even in season 2 when she expelled more power than normal to close the gate and keep the Mind Flayer in the Upside Down.
But I was rewatching season 1 and in the last episode when The Party is cornered in the school hallways by the lab agents, Eleven unleashes a psychic attack that makes all the agents eyes bleed.
What I think is happening here, in these first eight minutes, is that something from the Upside Down managed to punch through to the lab. Maybe it was Vecna, since he’s being ramped up to be the big villain in season 4 and it’s been theorized that Vecna has the ability to reach through from the Upside Down into Hawkins psychically.
Eleven, being super powerful, was maybe able to subdue Vecna and push him back into the Upside Down, closing the gate behind him. But not before everyone else was killed and not before Vecna attacked her psychically. Which is why I think her eyes are bleeding.
Vecna tried to take down Eleven and failed. Maybe he was weakened in the process and is just now strong enough to try again. And maybe this season is the culmination of a deeply held grudge that Vecna has against Eleven, who is at her weakest point because she’s lost access to her powers.
Certainly interested and excited to see what the new season brings!

Lore Olympus: Episode 196
Ok, there are gonna be some Fast Pass spoilers contained in this post, so you’ve been warned!
So in the latest episode released (available through Fast Pass), we learn that not only has Hera fallen into an unexplainable coma, but so has Poseidon
Now, I read this and I thought, “What? That’s too weird. Hera being in a coma is odd enough, but now Poseidon is down too. There has to be a connection of some kind to explain why that’s happening.”
And then it hit me. What do Hera and Poseidon have in common?
They’re both members of the 6 Traitors Dynasty.
And what’s more, they were both marked and wounded by Kronos (Poseidon lost his eye, Hera got torn in half).
Demeter is in the mortal realm, so we can’t confirm what’s going on with her at the moment. But Hestia has been MIA for a few chapters now and Athena ran in to speak to Zeus in this chapter (196) while he was on the phone with Amphitrite, so I’m gonna take a wild guess and say that she’s also fallen into a coma.
And who’s the one god who was most fucked up by Kronos?
Hades.
Persephone might be walking into the Underworld only to to have her reunion with Hades postponed due to his being in a coma as well. And as Queen of the Underworld in every way but name, it’ll be up to her to figure out what’s happening.
My bet is that Kronos is somehow affecting the members of the 6 Traitors Dynasty and maybe even drawing power from them so that he can finally mount an assault on Olympus and the rest of the world.
And who’s the one who got away without a scratch? Zeus.
The brainless idiot who won’t see the problem until it’s already hacked off his head.
Man, he’s gonna owe Persephone big time when she saves not only his ass, but everyone’s ass in Olympus.

Lore Olympus is back baby!!!
I’m a recent fan of Lore Olympus and I got into it because I saw that books were being published. I bought the first volume on a whim and really enjoyed it.
So I read the rest of the series in a day lol
Anyways, I’m super excited to see it come back and I just wanted to talk about the new chapter that just came out!
***SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 191***
Ok, I was not expecting a substantial time jump. I thought Hebe was her mother at first (she looks so much like her) until Zeus called her by name and I was like, “Wait what?! Hebe? But she was- And now she’s-? Oh nooooooo!”
The immediate implication of what that meant, that at least a decade or more had gone by since the verdict of the trial had been given....oh my god.
Also, Zeus? Baby? Honeycakes? You’ve got the title of “Creator of Rifts Between Brothers” in the bag, not Persephone.
And I didn’t even think about what it meant for him to cut Persephone and the mortal realm from everyone else! I was just thinking about how sad my boy Hades was gonna be! But now EVERYONE is effectively cut off from the mortal realm and Hermes can’t see his mom?! NO!
Have to say though, I was a little surprises that he chose to go with Hades and Hecate when they disappeared (I’m assuming back to the Underworld). Didn’t think he’d do that, but go off.
I hope Hades has just forbidden Zeus from coming anywhere near him and barred him altogether from the Underworld.
At least Poseidon had some sense to understand how royally Zeus had fucked up with that sentence.

Really interested in seeing more of what happened to her after she was banished and how her hands got the way they are. I want Hades’ hands to have been stuck in his starry skin Titan phase so they can be matching when they get back together.
Not sure how that’s gonna happen though, since I’m pretty confident that Zeus will never let Persephone back. He’s always gonna find fault with something and refuse to pardon her unless she fixes it.
So I’m excited to see what happens!

Stranger Things Thoughts...
With season 4 of Stranger Things coming up, with a little over a month before it’s release, I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about possible story lines and character arcs. Here are my thoughts, if anyone cares:
I know that there are a lot of Blyer fans out in the world. And they have every right to ship whatever characters they want to ship. I’ve just had some issues with some takes I’ve seen on Tumblr and I wanted to add to the conversation (for what it’s worth).
First off, I’ve seen a lot of people take the “El telling Mike she loves him” scene in season 3 and interpreting it in a way to mean Mike isn’t into El anymore.
Mike is a 14 year old child who still gets embarrassed when his mom takes his picture. No shit he’s gonna try to play off his profession of love to El in the heat of the moment and try to pretend like it didn’t happen. He doesn’t want to talk about his feelings. Hell, he struggled trying to do it in the supermarket while El was getting patched up.
And since he’s said it, three months have passed! And he and El haven’t discussed it at all, so I’m not freakin surprised that he avoided the subject all together. Poor boy was probably thinking that El was about to let him down easy if she hadn’t said anything before that scene. And she’s moving away with the Byers, which gives her more of a reason to reject him! Why would he want to open the door for that?
As for his not reacting to her kiss, if the girl I loved suddenly confessed her feelings to me after months of not saying anything, out of nowhere, I’d be pretty surprised. Maybe even too surprised to kiss her back when she kisses me. Especially if Mike was expecting some form of rejection.
And that’s how I saw this scene. I saw Mike processing what El had just told him and El just jumping into kissing him without giving him a breather. That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have romantic feelings for her anymore. Just meant that the guy’s brain fritzed a little and it took him a minute to catch up.
Besides this, I also got annoyed at the constant interpretation of moments between Mike and Will coming off as romantic. I think I took these posts a little more personally than I should have because I have a best friend who is of the same sex as me, who I’ve known since childhood, who I’ve told multiple times that I love them, and I (even though I’m bi) have never had romantic feelings for them.
I guess I got kind of sick of seeing a romantic lens being pushed on these two boys cause it seemed like they couldn’t be close friends who cared about each other without romantic feelings getting involved? And like I said before, I took posts like this sort of personally cause I think strong relationships with other people can be a thing without bringing sex into it. I don’t know. Just got to me.
If anything happens between Mike and Will, it happens. But I just enjoyed seeing a caring relationship between these two male characters, period.
And if Will comes off as jealous while Mike is visiting the Byers, I wouldn’t be surprised at that either. He’s been friends with Mike for years and then he’s gone for a week and Mike would rather spend time with El than with him. Romantic feelings or not, it hurts to be ignored by someone you care about.
And, I would like to add that if Mike and Will’s friendship seems more strained this season, or distant, I won’t be surprised. Mike had already started pulling away from him (more so in season 3) and it’s normal for people to grow apart as they get older.
In fact, I think the whole friend group in general is going to suffer from people doing their own things (Lucas and basketball; Dustin and Mike with the Hellfire Club; Max dealing with Billy’s death; El and Will being in another state), which means that we’ll have a bit of distance between everyone until the Upside Down brings them all back together again.

Ok. Having all the stills grouped in their respective episodes makes me think of a possibility that I know will just gut me if it's the direction that the show decides to go in.
So episode 4 is called "Victory". I think this might be the episode where Kate gives Anthony her blessing to propose to and marry Edwina. I'm also going to guess this is the episode where the bee scene happens since Kate is wearing the same dress/jacket in the latest trailer clip she wears while hunting, which also seems to be in this episode. And I can't be sure, but I'm also gonna assume that this will be the episode where Edwina is going to confront Kate about "seeing anything engaging" about Anthony.
When Kate answers in the affirmative, Edwina will reveal that Anthony has gone ahead with Kate's blessing and has asked Edwina to marry him and she accepted, which leads to the image of Edwina laying her head on Kate's shoulder with Kate looking miserable and lost.
The next episode, "An Unthinkable Fate", is Anthony coming to terms with the reality that he actually asked the sister of the woman he loves to marry him and she said yes. He starts to panic, especially if Edwina lets slip that Kate is going to return to India after she gets married cause there's no reason she would stay in England. Especially if she has to watch Edwina and Anthony be together.
“An Unthinkable Fate” is also the episode where Anthony falls into the lake/river. I think besides coming to terms with his marrying Edwina very quickly becoming a reality, he also has to watch Kate with another man. So whether it’s by her going back to India or her marrying Dorset, he’s going to lose her. And he realizes that losing Kate is unthinkable, which might prompt him to break off his engagement with Edwina at the end of the episode, or the start of the next one, which is called “The Choice”.
We might see Anthony make the decision to call off the engagement himself (which might save Edwina from having too much scandal attached to her name?) and announce to everyone that he intends to marry Kate instead.
Or maybe something comes out in Whistledown about him and Kate and he has to make a choice on which sister’s reputation he’ll save by marrying her.
If the show does this in any form, it's gonna be so gutting to watch!!

Let’s All Just Take a Deep Breath, Ok?
I was bored so I figured I’d write this out.
I’ve seen a lot of people recently in the Bridgerton fandom freak out (for lack of a better term) over the recent interviews and magazine spread done by EW.
Look, I get that book to tv/film adaptations can be a sensitive subject. I also get that adaptations will never be 100% faithful to the original source material. And that’s ok. That doesn’t make the new thing better or worse -- just different.
And there’s no reason you can’t go back to the original source material to enjoy it again. It will still exist.
And if you liked the first season of Bridgerton, let’s remember that in the books:
1. The events takes place a few years after Daphne’s debut to society and she was not Diamond of the First Water.
2. Anthony knew from pretty much the beginning about Simon and Daphne’s plans and went along with it.
3. Penelope doesn’t have a younger sister like she does in the books
4. Marina was the Bridgerton’s cousin, not the Featherington’s
5. Penelope’s father doesn’t die
6. One of Penelope’s sisters is married to Nigel Berbrooke.
7. Daphne and Simon reconcile when she basically rides into a tree
8. Queen Charlotte is not a character whatsoever
And I could keep going.
My point is, changes are going to be made. Things will be added and omitted from the show in order to make it a proper television program. No, you might not like some of the changes made. But maybe you should wait to pass judgement after you’ve watched the show? Not when you just have scraps of information to work with?
Enjoy the fandom. Enjoy the characters and the things you like. Engaging with other people about something you love should be fun! So have fun!

the lea michele situation is actually a prime example of why we should be wary of performative activism right now. if you are supporting the cause by protesting, donating, posting your support, etc. that’s great! but this problem goes so much deeper than just police brutality.
every single non-black person who has posted #blacklivesmatter this week needs to take a step back and analyze whether or not their actions (not just their words) have shown that they truly believe that statement. it’s a clear and obvious choice to speak out against the brutal murder of an innocent man. however, if you are not making the obvious choice every day to speak up for us when your friends/relatives make racist jokes, if you are not listening to and respecting the black people you know in real life, if you have not sat down to analyze the ways you actively benefit from this system, if you have not worked to start unlearning the biases you were raised with, or if you thought “black lives matter” was a controversial statement until this week, do not pretend to care just because everyone is talking about it right now.
when these protests are over, there will still be many battles to fight. this is not a game, and this is not something you post about just for likes and clicks. if you are resting easy right now thinking that you’re “one of the good ones” for showing public outrage over a situation that should anger any reasonable person, you need to do more. racism is not something you can pick and choose when to be against. we don’t get to pick and choose when we experience racism. so if you’re going to get involved with this situation right here, right now, then you need to be ready to hold yourself and others accountable for anti-blackness in all other areas of your life.

BLACK LIVES MATTER
Stop closing your eyes, stop scrolling past, stop thinking it’s not your problem.
I’m a white person and might be talking especially to white people out there not being enough aware. It’s the time we say stop, and we need to stop standing still, it’s not a “Black People’s problem”, it’s not a problem “out of our community”, it’s humanity and decency and rights to live and BREATHE not in constant fear. We have voices and privilege that somehow makes our voices worthier to whatever else? So we have to use it, to fight RACISM and SYSTEMIC RACISM that’s sitting inside all of us and in our everyday lives. We need to be all on one side, so there won’t be sides anymore.
I’ve been following all the recent news since the George Floyd murder and I’ve found some good stuff to stay informed, understand what’s happening and start do something. I thought about sharing.
Please SIGN all these petitions and help demand JUSTICE for Black People that have been murdered and their names forgotten. All you need is 10 minutes of your time to sign all the petitions on both pages, every petition has a paragraph explaining the history of what happened to that black person and what you’re signing for. We’re also talking about black children murdered, a pregnant black woman beaten causing the loss of her unborn baby.
Keep reading if you want to do more as you should.
If you can DONATE (not to change.org, donations won’t go to associations but to them to “support the cause” but you better donate to help the protestors and/or the victims), TEXT or CALL asking for justice and help bring awareness and justice for Black People.
