Trip M(ickey Bap)

He hugs me and nuzzles his head into my neck and sways as he says "Mickey bap babe... mickey bap" We have finally arrived at trip M! Halfway through the alphabet! So crazy just 3 months ago, we were so unsure of when we would see each other and how often or how are we going to juggle school, work, and a LDR, but praise the Lord this wonderful 3 months of challenges and countless opportunities to grow and challenge each other's hearts. This trip... we.. celebrated rob and Perrie's birthday! Good job Steven on creating the game. You're awesome! Before the birthday, we had brunch with them at rustic kitchen so we can get to know each other better. We also went to dinner the next day with the whole family on mrs. Chew's side. Although we didn't spend a lot of 1-1 time together since I only came down for 1 night instead of 3 night... I'm still very grateful for the time we got to spend with your family. I love them so much! I've always wanted a sister!! Only took me 24 years to find a Jennifer Chew ^^ We also went to the mall very briefly but almost everything was closed. So Steven and I went to the grove instead. And wow! It's so pretty at night and SOOO many pokestops! Hehe I love you my Mister

Love. What a grand word. Love comes in all shapes, sizes, even syntax; true love, real love, love sick, love bird.

From our dinner with Yoonjin and Andre, I appreciated their transparency, honesty, and humility so much. I’m glad my mister asked all those great and deep questions. It not only showed me how they honored the Lord as a couple but as an imperfect couple who only want to honor the Lord that much more in all that they do. To lead Yoonjin, Andre emphasized his priority to just love her first. To love her in ways that allowed her to submit to him easily.

I was just so overwhelmed by their speech, by our conversation and how much they spur each other on to Christ. I think her humility in even waking up her kids at 1am just to apologize to them for allowing her emotions take over her parenting without loving them through the lens of Christ just floored me.

Thank you Lord for the perfect timing in “hooking us up” with this lovely IBC couple for dinner. I am so blessed by them. What I thought was a regular 1.5 hour dinner became a 5 hour conversation!

I truly look up to them. And the fact that they lent us the video version of the marriage book steven and I have was just too coincidental. :)
