Some more Worlds Beyond Number scribbles for the wizard Steel.

Steel's descriptions in the podcast immediately made me think of Kushana from Nausicaa, and Miquella from Elden Ring, so I wanted some of their influences in the designs. As she is the Sword of the Citadel, I wanted her armour to mirror her own sword, as well as the architecture of the Erien itself.

A WIP of a Worlds Beyond Number fanart I started this morning. There were so many new characters last episode, but I can't help but design a witch first! I went very art deco for Mirara, so for Indri I wanted to lean into mirroring her home instead, creating a symmetry in her outfit until her crown which will mimic the aurora.

My copy of GB Studio Magazine arrived! I've not had my work in a magazine before so I'm very excited for my pixel art piece to be included with the other pixel art jam entries :) Next time I hopefully wont be in as much of a rush, and I'll remember to name my entry something proper! The theme of 2023's jam was "An Awesome Discovery"

I was trying to watch a coollike stream after work on my phone, but my internet had other ideas so I doodled these instead

Doing some doodles before my friends arrive, creating the ultimate over-the-top performers costume for my old drow bard, Mahsa. I think the star confetti inside the big sleeves would be enchanted with Featherfall so they drift about like a snowglobe.

First couple of ink doodles from my new sketchbook. I'd like to practice drawing from life more, especially with ink, so I drew these over the weekend from the many anime figurines, game cards and boxes on display in my friends' flat.

I didn't realise it was World Beyond Number's first birthday until the livestream popped up so I did some last minute doodles of the wizards, Soft and Stone, to celebrate! Stone's face isn't as round as I'd like it, but it's not bad for a first try

I was planning out a silly V:tM oneshot whilst waiting for a game to download, and decided to draw one of my vampires. She might look sweet, but this Toriador is a ruthless crime lord who will be using her influence to get the players to pull off a risky heist.

Okay I'm pretty close to finishing my dnd character project, and if you would like to join in please go ahead and answer the polls on my insta stories! It's very quick (just three polls) and means you get some input into what sort of hero I create next!

Another WIP of my warmup project (I use a random noun generator to choose themes for costume design). The theme was "bath" so I'm making an outfit inspired by those fancy claw-footed tubs.

Everything for the game was made in photoshop and then dragged into GB Studio. Making tiny versions of my friends was a lot of fun but I'm particularly proud of Alex (top left) with his hair and dressing gown, Briggsy's pinafore dress (top right), and Holly (bottom middle) with her shaved head.

This week, my friend @anonbeadraws turns 30, and as we always struggle to meet up on the day I made a little digital birthday party for them instead.
