Wow imagine thinking that people's only worth comes from what they contribute to the meaningless capitalist machine. And that if you don't work your whole life that you're somehow less of a person, or undeserving of basic human rights. Imagine being a person who believes that haha.
It's so weird to me that some people can't grasp the concept of basic Empathy. Like are you guys complaining about the welfare system being a freeloading system yadda yadda okay? Do you want Jeff Bezos to come over and give you a lollipop and a pat on the head for being such a good little tool of capitalist oppression?
People thinking that it's their right to judge on whether another person has food or a roof over their heads just because they don't do what /you/ consider to be contributing to society. Guess what? It's none of your goddamned business.
You want to be mad at someone because your taxes pay for someone else to /live/??? Be mad at the top 1% who own as much wealth as the bottom 50% and are responsible for the death of the middle class and the growing class divide because they're modern day dragons who hoard their wealth and contribute nothing whatsoever to the economy or society. Be mad at the socio-economic inequality. Be mad at big businesses and corporations. Don't even get me started on the climate change crisis.
Get some goddamned Empathy and stop bitching about situations that you know absolutely nothing about.

Sorry, I could never be a capitalist, I suffer from “wanting humans to have their basic needs met” disorder, where I care about people who aren’t me.

If you’re Australian and didn’t get the memo, there’s a nationwide climate protest on January 10 being held by Uni Students for Climate Justice.

Do y’all know where the phrase “eat the rich” comes from or do you just repeat it cause you heard it elsewhere?
It’s not a bad thing, I just saw someone say “we never said who would eat the rich” and realized a lot of y’all might not have heard the full quote
It’s from Rousseau and it’s “When the people shall have nothing more to eat, they will eat the rich"
And, well, there’s a lot of people with nothing to eat…
