Been reading In the Footsteps of Shamhat, which I enjoyed immensely 😄😄😄 I couldn’t help but think of a scene from Incredibles when reading about Rodan impregnating Vivi
*Vivi with her and Rodan’s baby trying to teach the child about different objects through flashcards*
Vivi: Triangle.
Baby: *Gives a gibberish equivalent of the word*
Vivi: Good, *pulls out new card* House.
Baby: *mimics the triangular roof with their hands while gurgling the word*
Vivi: Campfire *pulls out a card showing said campfire*
Baby: *gives a gurgle before setting their entire body ablaze in an instant*
Ahh, thanks for reading! And y'know, if I had a nickel for every time someone compares a Vividan baby to Jack-Jack going Human Torch, I'd have two nickels; which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.
Fortunately Papa Rodan is fireproof and doesn't mind his little firecracker bursting into flames as long as it's in Papa's lap.

Ilene Chen enters the main living room to start her day. She passes by Battra sitting at the dining table- reading something and sipping on tea.
Ilene: Good morning.
Battra: Mornin.
She heads over to the coffee machine where Vivienne and Maia are staring a hole into the back of Battra's head.
Ilene: What are you guys-
Maia: He never says good morning to anyone. What happened.
Ilene: Uh, I dunno- he just-
Vivi: Ilene. You. Did. Not.
Ilene: What?? No-
Vivi: Ohmigosh how was he?? Calm, nervous?? Did you guys have fun??
Maia: How long did he last?
Vivi: God, rude.
Maia: Man, I'm curious!
Ilene: Guys- I didn't...
Just then, Kong stalks in from his room. He stops behind Battra and puts a hand on his shoulder- the humanoid Titan freezes at this.
Kong: Good morning.
Battra: Uh- hi.
Kong: Didn't get to ask you last night, you have fun?
Battra: Um- yeah.
Kong: Good.
Kong leans in to plant a kiss on his head, Vivienne tries to remember a time the moth had ever blushed that hard.
Kong: Promised Goji I'd take over the patrol when he can't, so I gotta go for now- I'll be back soon.
Battra: You don't- have to come back if you're busy.
Kong: Well maybe I want to- plus...
He leans into his ear and whispers something that makes his face go more red somehow. Afterwards, he heads off to the coffee machine. It takes him a moment to realize Vivienne, Maia, and Ilene are staring at him wide-eyed.
Vivienne: ...
Maia: ...
Ilene: ...fucking told you guys!!
Kong: Er- what?
Ilene: Don't worry about it.
Maia: ...so how long did-
Vivienne & Ilene: MAIA!
Cue Maia following Kong for his patrol, badgering him about what Battra is like in bed but Kong doesn't kiss and tell (plus he'd have sworn to Battra that he wouldn't "gossip" about it), and Maia storms back inside in a huff because now she's curious and it's going to eat at her until she gets the details.
Whereas Vivi and Ilene would be more scientifically curious about a Titan's anatomy (but still horny curious), Maia is the type who looks at like, Garrus Vakarian or any given krogan in Mass Effect and wonders what their downstairs looks like because, let's face it, when your monsterfucker awakening is San with his prehensile hemipenes, you're freaky like that.

What if the reason Ozzy didn't have kids before he left was partially because of Battra? Like he got chewed out by him and it made him really upset for a few days- days that he and Tiamat were planning to devote to- familial expansion. Battra may not know this until years later when Tiamat's reminiscing about it- and when she tearfully laments that he left her when they were planning to try starting a family- and he has this 'oh shit' moment when he realizes just how horribly he may have fucked up.

Just had a couple of thoughts on the “different species of Titans interbreeding” idea!
The way I’m planning on handling that concept in my MonsterVerse AU fics, if/when it comes up, would be that whenever two Titans from different species interbreed, the resulting offspring will always be mostly identical to one of the parents’ species, except for one or two physical features or traits inherited from the other parent: basically they’re 95% one species and 5% the other. Going by that logic, for example, Leo would be almost entirely a Titanus Mosura, with a bit of Titanus Gojira mixed in (like maybe he has a row of spikes running down his back, and the ability to fire concentrated atomic-energy beams like his dad).
In addition, for each individual hybrid offspring, the odds are always basically 50/50 when it comes to which species they’ll favor. So instead of Titan hybrids always taking after their mother, it could always potentially go either way. And if there are multiple offspring born at the same time (say, if the mother is from a species that typically lays a clutch of eggs instead of just one), the odds are 50/50 for each of them, so you’d likely end up with a mixed bag: some resembling the father, some resembling the mother.
As far as the Shamhat AU goes, obviously that doesn’t need as much of an explanation since there’s more magical stuff going on there, but I feel like the same logic could potentially work: maybe human/Titan hybrids all start out human-sized when they’re born, but for some of them they’re born looking like their Titan forms and quickly grow to their true size over time, while others stay almost entirely human but develop superhuman strength & other special abilities instead (like maybe a child of Rodan can manipulate fire, a child of Godzilla can breathe underwater, a child of Mothra can heal other people’s wounds, that kind of thing).
Interspecies Titan Genetics is fun to imagine in that sense because there could be hundreds of ways potential offspring can look! And yeah, Shamhat is very much in the realm of "It's Smut, I Ain't Gotta Explain Shit!" but now that you bring it up it would be amusing to see Vivienne and Rodan's firstborn being either a fire-bending but otherwise normal human-ish baby or just a real itty bitty Rodan bebbeh.

I had just discovered this (https://twitter.com/Austrorapt49590/status/1782585044780925378) and it made me wonder what the Titans' reactions would be when they discover that people make fanart of them. I can see Mothra seeing this and just bursting out laughing. "Oh, I am *framing* this!"
Ah yes, I've seen the Greco Goji art (which sounds better than Zeus!Goji because unlike Zeus, Goji actually has rizz) over on Discord... some more safe for work than others!
Suddenly the Titans are very curious as to how they'd look in such a style, and Ghidorah is especially loud in demanding that any Grecodorah art must include a particular Priapus protrusion. (It happens, but it only applies for San).
