MARAUDERS HEADCANNON #8
Regulus missed Sirius. Not when Sirius went to Hogwarts. (Or when he never wrote to him, not even to say how it was, how nice, how bad. Regulus thought Sirius never wrote because he was ashamed to be in Griffindor. Some people like to be fooled, so they deceive themselves) Not when Sirius found James, a new friend, a best friend. A brother, he called. (Regulus knew Sirius had only one brother and this would never change. It used to calm him a bit) Not even when Sirius left home. (Was never a home, but still) Regulus missed Sirius everyday. When he was or wasn't close, for his mind was never around. When he could never feel the link that would bound them to each other. The feeling, the friendship, the brotherhood. He always did, till the day he died. "He would be so proud of me" was the thought of goodbye to the world. Be good for once made him feel Sirius, and it felt good.

James was so jealous of Sirius.
The way he was always so cool and determined, how good as a person he was, even if he lived his entire life amongst the cruelest people he knew, it just amazed James in a level he couldn’t explain. Sirius was naturally bright, when James had to study had and harder to get good grades, even if he wasn’t known by that and even if he was actually pretty smart. James did the things he did to make his parents proud, Sirius did the things he did, for himself. James was slow when Sirius was the fastest - probably at understanding stuff -, James was a coward when in the face of matters Sirius dealt with such bravery Godric Griffindor himself would praise. Sirius was the strongest person James knew, and even if he admired the best of friends for this, he still envied him.
It wasn’t until the dark times came, when James didn’t have any doubts about in who to trust the secret of his family localization, that he realized that maybe, in fact, he didn’t have a friend, but a brother. But the change of plans turned to change lives, and with simple words from Peter, James was the first to give the last breath. As they say, a movie passes through your eyes, and in amongst flashes of all the loved ones, and several realizations, one greatly important: he didn’t have a brother, this everyone can have. He had a friend, the best of all. And he was a lucky man for this.

MARAUDERS HEADCANNON #6
Sirius was so jealous of James. The Potter family was traditional, but the Black family was even more, and more powerful. The Potter family was rich, but the Black family was richer and much more respected. Sirius had a brother, cousins and a big family, while all James had was his parents, two grandparents and distant cousins living far from him. Sirius was popular with all the boys, all the girls and all the professors at the school. Good wizard, loyal friends and was selected in a house he felt so conected with. He felt home. And jealous. James used to lead a simple life, and Sirius used to forget the jealousy sometimes. But remembered always, as he visited the Potters and Mrs Potter kissed the only child in the face, as James received letters constantly, filled with pride and love for another game he won, or anything else he told them. As he noticed how good James used to deal with solitude, how patient he could be, how he could manage pride… How loved he was. And even if James has always been his friend, there was a moment Sirius noticed the feeling vanishing. Middle of vacation, severe fight at home, baggage made and Sirius out of home, he thought, to never come back. Regret that he brought stuff, since he couldn’t apparate and carry those things as a dog would be not practical. He arrived at Godric’s Hollow, 16 years old dried to the bones, past midnight in the middle of a storm - “the worst storm in 18 years”. Mr Potter openned the door, Mrs Potter hugged him and wrapped him with a towel before making tea. James pulled him close to the fire before taking his stuff to his room, and said it was so good he saved those Quidditch albuns and posters, and the The Beatles discos. They had midnight tea and Sirius begged for home. And he received love, instead. Warm, peaceful and heart-healing love. And he felt pure joy and happines with James marriage, Lily’s pregnancy, Harry’s birth and a house full of love. All because he learned what it is.

Emmeline Vance was a Ravenclaw girl, with a lot of Hufflepuff inside. She was kind, sweet and fair, beautiful but not the prettiest, smart, but not enough to resist to Sirius Black’s charming presence. One time in the duel class, the morning after going out with Sirius to Hogsmeade, she fought Marlene Mckinnon, who almost lost, but got furious and punched Vance in the left eye. Some say Mckinnon didn’t know how to lose and deserved to be expelled. James thought Marlene didn’t know how to play and needed a butterbeer.

Peter Pettigrew used to be brave. Not the way Remus, Sirius and James were, but in his own way. Once, he walked downstairs, going on the Hufflepuff’s room’s direction, towards the kitchen, when a pair of Ravenclaw students appeared to bully him. He fought, some said, ridiculously, but, still, he was brave. He kept fighting (truth be told, it didn’t last that long), until someone casted a spell on the  bullies. Nobody ever knew who did it. Nor Severus wanted anybody to know.

Dorcas Meadowes was a huge fan of chess, Wizard Chess, by the way, and she started a Wizard Chess contest in Hogwarts in her fifth year. Even if the reasons she had to practice so much with Remus in the Common Room almost everyday weren't exacly those.

James Potter was Marlene Mckinnon's cousin. He never got to visit her in Ireland, but, at least a week, every summer, she had to spend with him in England, until the age of 8.

Remus maybe or maybe not had a crush on Lily. Truth be told, he couldn't help but think she was smart, sweet and brave girl. And the red hair may have helped to improve his admiration towards her.
