I pray that You would fill me with Your Holy Spirit, giving me the strength and courage to press on towards the goal of knowing You more deeply and sharing Your love with others. May my life be a reflection of Your grace and mercy, drawing others to You in these last days.
Help me to fix my eyes on You, the author and perfecter of my faith, so that I may run with endurance the race set before me. Grant me the wisdom to live in a way that honors You and brings glory to Your name.
Lord, I trust in Your promise to return and bring about the ultimate restoration of all things. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on that glorious day, knowing that the suffering of this present time is nothing compared to the eternal glory that awaits us.
In Jesus' name, amen.

I spoke from my heart I just wanted to be honest
In my distress I cried out like the psalmist
I was stressed, anxious… I was down bad
I shouted o’ my soul why are you downcast!?
Transgressions, guilt, anger, living in sin
My very essence was screaming to God…
I just didn’t know it then
Does Jesus know me? Am I saved?
When the trumpet blows will I bust out the grave?
Worries weighed heavy on my mind
Who knew eventually my light would shine
Illuminate any room until darkness is blind
I can do nothing apart from the vine.
To follow You Lord is simply divine
I’ve been down the darkest path
Used to living life in a hurry
Became best friends with Anxiety
And had a relationship with Worry
Walked side by side with Stress…
Plus I occasionally dodged calls from Death
Now Peace moved next door
Joy comes over and we talk for days
Goodness follows me, the Word tells me how to walk in His ways
Now it’s like God smiles on his own child
Favor holds my hand, Grace comes over and stays for awhile.
Wisdom teaches me to slow down…
live life’s journey, smell the roses
Sometimes you got to wander in the desert
Before you see the promised land like Moses.
