A large sigh came from Kotetsu as he opened the door to his home, and announced his return, sulking all the way inside. “I’m home...” The hero greeted his wife with a frown on his face.
“--I dropped Kaede off at my mother’s. Are you sure I shouldn’t go back and bring her home? Isn’t a week without her too long, Tomoe?” How was the new father supposed to manage without his little chubby cheeked baby. “Maybe this was a bad idea. I gotta go pick her up right now!”

Slow. Oh she hated that word. A sigh escaped pink lips as she closed her eyes for a brief moment.“…. Okay. We can take things slow.– But! That mean we have to go on dates okay! So…. we should go on one…. soon..”
Handsome? That wasn’t a word most would use to describe him. Not that he was lacking in looks or anything. “I...er...” Kotetsu found it hard to voice exactly what he wanted to say without sounding rude or heartless. This was all happening way too fast. Getting hit on by a younger woman isn’t exactly the norm for him. He wasn’t prepared for this at all.
“...I suppose a date or two couldn’t hurt.” Kotetsu sighed giving into her proposal. He found it too hard to turn Catherine down. “But you know I’m always busy with work and taking care of my kid. She always comes first! Maybe you’d like to meet her someday.” In all honesty he hoped that day never came. How would he explain this to Kaede?
