Han finds a gift from Alderaan to give to Leia. After he gives it to her he’s confused as to why she keeps blushing every time she sees him and avoiding him. Meanwhile, Leia has to figure out how to explain to Han that he had technically just proposed to her.

🌟 Han x Leia Holiday Exchange 2022 🌟
It’s that time of the year, folks! We’re so happy to be able to bring this back once again, and we hope you’re as excited as we are!
This is an anonymous holiday exchange where each participant will write and receive a Han/Leia fanfic (min.: 500 words, max.: 5k words).
Everyone who loves our beloved princess and her scoundrel is welcome to participate - it doesn’t matter if you prefer Legends or Disney canon or AUs, if you’re a new fan or an older fan, if you’ve written 100 fics or 0, if you celebrate any holidays or not. We want your fic!

Sign-ups open: December 1, 2022
Sign-ups close: December 8, 2022
Assignments go out: December 10-11, 2022
Half-point check-in: December 26-31, 2022
Deadline to request a beta-reader: January 8, 2023
Submission deadline: January 15, 2023
Works revealed: January 16, 2023
Authors revealed: January 31, 2023
How does it work?
This exchange will take place both on Tumblr and on Archive of Our Own, which means having an account in both sites is a requisite for participants (If you don’t have an Ao3 account, please contact the mods. They can send you an invite and help you if you have any questions about it!)
You will need to sign up on via the link to Ao3 below and will upload your work to the collection there whenever you’re finished. We will post it for you on Jan 16, and it will remain anonymous until Jan 31.
On Tumblr, you will be contacted by the mods and send/receive anonymous messages to/from your recipients/writers, so make sure you have anonymous messaging turned on. We highly encourage you to reach out to your recipient: not only is it a great way to find out more about what kind of gift they would enjoy, but it’s also a really fun part of the exchange!

Han and Leia are left alone at the dejarik table and the topic of scars comes up. They start comparing scars; opening up shirts, hiking up dresses, taking off boots etc. Suddenly Leia is touching one of Han's scars, and Han kisses one of Leia's, and then they are kissing each other, and then this can get as smutty as you'd like...

basically either the rouges are goofing around with a karaoke machine and Leia is there and Han is like Leia cant sing and stuff like that but Rieekan is over there like “be careful” and Leia then goes up and sings like amazingly (any song but the idea came to me when I was listening to Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac) and then like stuns everyone with her vocals

It’s Post Rotj and Hanleia are at a alliance party/convention/recruitment where people are there from all over and there’s like someone singing but Rieekan has the grand idea for Leia to sing because so far the “thing” they are at is pretty lame and boring. Han doesn’t know Leia can sing and so she goes up there and sings (again any song but this came to me while listening to My Man from Funny girl so preferably that lol). And like people go crazy and stuff.

(In an AU where Han and Leia are secretly sleeping together before the events of ESB) Han tells Leia they don't have to have sex every time they're together. Of course it comes out all wrong and Leia misunderstands him, thinking he wants to end the affair. Eventually Han adorably explains what he meant: Leia can spend the night with him even if she doesn't want to have sex. And he wouldn't expect sex every time she came to his bunk. He is fine with spending time with her doing other things too.
All was forgiven.

The rebels rotate responsibility for every job including sanitation, laundry, and cooking. Leia is in charge of cooking one day and it's a disaster. Everyone hates it except for Han because he enjoys everything after growing up on the streets and living with someone who prefers raw meat.

Han teaches Leia how to use the welding torch to repair the falcon. It doesn't take her long to make her first mistake, scorching part of the hull. She braces for Han's criticism, but he just looks at the scorch mark, then checks her fingers and says "no harm done."
Her surprise must have shown on her face because he grins at her. "She can take it," he says patting the ship, "it's not the outside, but what's inside that counts."
Looking at the scruffy pilot Leia couldn't agree more.

Leia and Han are at a banquet with some of the most important people in the New Repulic. Han doesn't know how to fold his napkin correctly, or which fork to use for each course. But Han does know when Leia needs to be rescued from a conversation, and when her patients is at its limit and she loves him for it.
