I hope to have the new chap up soon! <3
Vaincre spoilers below
“You know what I want to do?” Sirius said as he squirted some water into his mouth.
“Hm,” Remus said, eyes still on the retreating gray and gold jersey.
“I want to get a tattoo,” Sirius said.
Remus’ head wasn’t the only one that snapped towards him. Cole looked up, James and Thomas, too.
Thomas laughed. “All right, Cap.” He nudged Cole. “Me and twenty know a great place.”
“Tattoo…” James said, narrowing his eyes thoughtfully. “Should I also get a tattoo?”
“What?” Remus shook his head, caught off guard. “You want what? Of—of what?”
“Of my wedding ring,” Sirius said. He tapped his ring finger through his thick glove. “Can’t wear it while I play.”
Sirius said no more, just patted Remus’ helmet then skated away, leaving him to stare after him.
Finn leaned over from a few slots down the bench and whistled to get Remus’ attention before sending him a grin and a wink. “That’s what we boys like to call distraction.”
Remus stared at him for a moment, then laughed, looking back out onto the ice. Sirius was still looking at him, mouthguard hanging out between his teeth as he smiled.
“Yeah,” Remus said. “Right…”

Day Two:
On the second day of Winterfic, Hazel gave to you, a bit of Breakaway!
Logan wasn’t sure why he felt so nervous. These things were mostly locked in before they had even happened. In the higher picks, it was a formality of calling out the name, a bit of tape to keep for your children, the good feeling of getting to walk up onto the NHL draft stage on shaky legs, slip a new jersey over your head and put the hat on with the new logo on it, your team logo. Logan had always, when thinking about getting drafted, been happy there was a hat to put on. A bit of shade from the cameras, something to duck behind for a little relief. A place to take a breath.

Fic-O-Ween day 3!
This is mostly dialogue and chaos but it’s fun dialogue and chaos.
A Potter family trip to the apple orchard wasn't complete without Uncle Padfoot and Loops, and therefore Jules. And also Dumo and his kids, including Logan and his boys. And one of their brothers and his two. And Thomas.
So a trip that was meant to be three became eighteen, and Lily couldn't find it in herself to care. This was her family and she couldn't be happier. The boys were busy chasing the kids and lifting them up so they could reach the tops of the trees. Pascal was picking apples to bring home to Celeste so she could make a pie. James, Sirius, and Remus were busy keeping both Harry and Jules busy, which was far too endearing.
Adele had been practically glued to her and Natalie all day, and honestly, it was making Lily think about more children.
"Corn maze! Corn maze! Corn maze!" Katie shrieked, running to her father.
It was the only thing she'd wanted to do, after seeing the ponies.
"Sirius said it's time!"
Pascal, and everyone else, looked to where Sirius was biting back a grin, while also hanging Harry half over his shoulder. Remus, Lily noted, had never looked so fond.
"Did he?"
"I've told you before I can't say no to her, Dumo, it's your fault," Sirius said, placing Harry back on his feet.
Harry had started chanting with Katie, Marc and Louis joined in, and then Jules.
"Alright, alright, to the corn maze children."
Remus didn't know that a corn maze was meant to be a competition, but according to the O'Hara brothers, it meant war. This was how Remus found himself on a team with eight others. While it made sense to split into groups, as eighteen people trying to go through a maze would be chaos, he wasn't sure about the competition part of it.
There was only one way to go, so wouldn't they just keep running into each other?
"Loops, that's the point! Where's the fun without a bit of trash talk?" Finn told him after Remus said as much.
"There's kids here, O'Hara," Natalie commented.
"So we keep it PG, and we do the little scavenger hunt. That's where the real fun is."
Remus was a little disappointed that his own brother hadn't wanted to be on his team, or his boyfriend. But the O'Haras and Dumais children had reminded him that sibling rivalry was as good a motivator as any.
"Wait I think we should go that way," Lily said, pointing to the path towards the left.
Finn stopped next to her, "it's definitely to the right. You always go to the right."
"And that is how you lose, little bro," Alex said, walking past with his own team behind him. They went to the left
"Shut up, you idiot," Finn said back. Remus heard Logan laugh from where he was walking past, and Leo snicker from behind him.
"Yo, Harz, don't talk to my man like that," Kasey said, reaching forward to grab Alex's hand.
Natalie jumped in, "yeah, don't talk to our man like that."
"We're on the same team, Nat," Finn said back.
"I don't care."
This was already far too much, and they hadn't even gotten into the maze.
Remus had been hoping, secretly, that he would have been able to sneak off with Sirius and get some of the hot cider that was being sold. Sirius, however, seemed to be too far gone to pull him away from this.
"How does it feel to be on the losing team, Re?" He said, walking past.
"Yeah, Re?" Julian parroted.
Remus there his hands up and let them fall back with a slap against his thighs.
James and Pascal both laughed at him. Thomas jostled his shoulder and snickered.
Alex wouldn't admit it, but they were definitely lost. The goal had been to get to the closest checkpoint, but well, he was fairly certain it was supposed to be right where they were standing.
"Alex..."
Alex looked at Kasey slowly, who was obviously holding back a laugh.
"I have no idea where we are."
"What?" Three voices echoed. Logan, James, Sirius.
It was almost comical, the way their heads turned to him, and each of the children's that followed. Harry was on James shoulders, an action mirrored by Katie and Logan. Julian was on Sirius' back, but dropped down to pull out his own map. Marc went over to look at it with him.
"I joined your team because you said you always won, don't tell me I left my lovers just to lose," Logan said, leaning over to look at the map in Alex's hands.
"We're not losing. We don't know how to lose," Sirius said.
"What Cap said," James announced, using Harry's little finger to trace a path on their map.
Marc and Jules walked past all of them, drawing their attention, "this way," Marc said. So they went.
Lily was going to rip that red hair right out of Finn O'Hara's big head.
"Are you blind?"
"He does use reading glasses," Leo called from the back of the group.
"Baby we're on the same team," Finn turned to him. "I told you though, always go right."
"O'Hara, if we go left it takes us straight to the third checkpoint."
Thank god for Natalie Darcy, at least someone could see some sense. Adele agreed with them too, though that was likely more to just agree than anything.
They'd already got to the first two checkpoints, punching out the little numbers on their card, and reading the little story for Louis, who didn't actually seem that interested. Granted he was ten, but he was the only child with them. Except for Adele, who definitely wouldn't admit she found it fun.
At every turn they had a debate, and every time Finn said to go right, and he was only correct half of those times.
Remus and Thomas were making jokes each time, Leo and Pascal were trailing at the back of the group, and Louis was playing on his father's phone.
And yet, Lily loved it. Every minute of it.
Sirius wouldn't admit it, but there was no possible way they were winning. They'd been in this maze for nearly fifteen minutes and hadn't checked any of the boxes. The kids were beginning to whine, and they were staring at a wall of corn.
"You said this way, little Dumo," Kasey said to Marc, who just shrugged.
"Alright team, I'll be honest. We kind of suck, so any ideas?" Alex said.
Sirius huffed, "that was a shit pep-talk O'Hara."
"Kids, Padfoot, seriously," James said, hands over Harry's ears.
"Not all of us can be the youngest captain, Black," Alex turned to him, "feel free to help out any time."
"Actually, I think you've got it O'Hara. Never been so inspired in my life," Sirius said, falling back next to Logan. He'd never done a corn maze before, and honestly was losing the appeal of it quickly.
"I feel like this would be more fun with alcohol."
"You are absolutely right, T," Remus replied.
"As if we don't have enough entertainment from the redheads up there," Leo said from behind them.
Finn and Lily had both declared themselves team leaders it seemed, which had definitely become the chaos Remus had imagined.
They were over halfway through the maze, and making pretty good time. Though, that was likely more to do with the fact the Finn was practically running. Well, that, and the fact that it wasn't really Lily or Finn leading them, it was Leo and Pascal.
Each time the group at the front disagreed, Leo or Pascal became the voice of reason. It was usually a quick, "alright, this way." Or, "I'm going this way, follow or don't."
Remus was also pretty sure he'd heard them betting against their own team. Really, Remus agreed with them. But there was also a part of him determined to beat Sirius and Julian.
They were on track again, had even completed two of the ten checkpoints. Though, it had already been more than twenty minutes, so they weren't really on track. Kasey had taken over for most of that, his calm helping them.
Now though...
Alex was struggling to keep calm himself.
There was three ways they could go, and everyone was talking at once.
"Left. I say left." Logan was looking wistfully down the pathway.
"No, Tremzy!" Katie yelled.
Jules and Marc were talking to each other at the back of the group, momentarily forgetting about the maze.
"Pretty confident it's straight," Kasey said.
"You're certainly not," Sirius chirped.
"Like you can talk, Black," Alex responded.
"None of us are," Logan quipped.
James spluttered, "are you forgetting about me?” His hands splayed in front of him, child giggling on his shoulders.
The other four men looked at each other, then said together, "no."
James squinted at all of them, shrugged, then stepped forward into the middle path. Straight it was then.
Finn was going to win one way or the other, and he would absolutely not admit that it was because of Lily Evans-Potter. Maybe she was right, so what? He'd never said he was good at corn mazes or following directions. And the other guys certainly were no help. He was fairly certain Leo had bet against him.
But, on the bright side, all there was left to do now was get out. After one small stop.
"We have to find them," he announced.
"What, why?" Lily responded immediately.
"To scare them."
"Oh!" Natalie's face lit up as she said it.
"Now this I can get behind," Thomas announced.
"I'm in," Remus said.
"Can I scare Marc?" Adele asked.
"No I want to scare Marc!" Louis said, actually looking away from the game he was playing.
"Cool, let's go."
Yeah, they were definitely losing. There was no possible way this team was getting anywhere. The kids had started complaining early on, and it was beginning to become sad. Sirius had already taken off his jacket and hoodie, the sun bright and no breeze to cool them. They'd gotten maybe five of the checkpoints, Sirius wasn't sure, he'd stopped caring long ago.
He was carrying Harry now, James' shoulder had started acting up again, and frankly, he needed some entertainment. His eyes flitted between Jules and Marc and the path they were walking down.
It wasn't all that bad, though. He hadn't had time to just be since summer, and he was doing it with all of his people. Of course, half of them were somewhere else in this godforsaken trap, but they were still here.
This was nice, and even if the kids weren't enjoying it anymore, at least he got to spend time with them.
"Hey Jules, what are we going to tell Remus when we get out?" He said over his shoulder.
There wasn't an answer, se he glanced back, "Jules?"
Except Jules wasn't there, and neither was Marc. Sirius' heart dropped, his hands got just a little tighter around Harry's. "Jules? Marc?"
The others stopped where they were in front of him, James walked over.
"Sirius?"
"They were just right behind me," he whispered.
There was an uneasy silence that followed, as Sirius scanned the area.
"Maybe they just went down a different path..." it was Logan.
No, that wasn't right. Neither of the boys would do that, not without saying something. Had he missed it?
"They wouldn't—”
"AHHH!!"
There were shouts all around them, bodies running out of the corn. There was Jules, right next to a laughing Remus. And Marc with his own family. Despite being startled, Sirius was relieved.
Then, all at once, the other team took off in a full sprint away from them, leaving Sirius' own team shaken.
Slowly, after realizing what had gone down, and ignoring Marc and Jules laughing on the ground, they looked to Alex O'Hara.
His head tipped back and he groaned, then said, "oh thank god."
Again, they all looked at one another. Kasey spoke up, "babe?"
"They've finished it. We can get out of this fu-- freaking corn."
A collective sigh went up, and they turned on their heel and walked the same direction the others ran.
Lily hadn't laughed this hard in a long time. Her, Natalie, and Adele were still giggling together when the others came out of the maze.
Alex went over to Finn, putting him into a headlock and rubbing his head, "finally beat me, little man."
"Get off me," Finn yelped, grabbing for Leo. Logan was laughing as he went over to them.
Kasey pulled Natalie into a kiss, which made Adele grimace. Alex shouted for them, which made them both smile.
Pascal gathered his children up, insisting they take a selfie for their mother. Adele rolled her eyes but was still the one to hold up the phone.
Thomas and Remus were still talking together when Sirius walked over.
"You've had my boyfriend long enough, T, time to get your own."
Thomas mocked offense, and Remus grinned, "how does it feel to be on the losing team, baby?"
When Sirius scowled Remus pulled him down for a kiss.
"Little Loops, how does it feel knowing you almost made the Captain cry?" Thomas said.
"That's not fair, T, he was worried."
They were laughing together, in their little group.
James came over, Harry holding his hand and smiling at Lily.
"Hi Mama!"
"Hi baby," she knelt to pick him up. Then leaned in and kissed her husband, "beat you."
"No, I'm definitely winning," he kissed her again, again, again.
There was laughter around them, and love surrounding their little group, which was certainly not so little. She's never been happier to have such a big family.

Happy Fic-O-Ween!!
Superstitions today… just a short and sweet moment between Cap and Loops
Remus wouldn't say he was as superstitious as he'd been in college... but many things were the same.
He'd made new ones, especially involving Sirius. Toast at five o’clock and sneaking off to an empty room were common occurrences now.
His favorite one though, was very new. He would stop just at the end of the tunnel and wait for Sirius to walk to him, last, as always.
It made Remus smile every time, made his heart flutter, and turned his brain to mush.
He'd seen clips of it on Twitter, fans speculating what they said to each other, but no one knew. It was a moment they had all to themselves. A quiet moment before everything began happening at once.
The words Sirius had said to him the first time still rang in his head, "it made you smile. That's all I care about."
And Remus was determined to keep the smile on Sirius' face too.
They were lined up to walk down the tunnel, and Remus' heart was thrumming with the fans' cheers. Sirius was at the end of the line, James just before him. They were talking quietly.
Remus ran his right thumb over his left ring finger, six times, where the engagement ring would sit if he could wear it on the ice. It'd become a habit, and then a necessity.
The line started moving and they were off, the cheers getting louder.
They came up to the end of the tunnel and Remus waited, the boys nodding to him as they passed.
Then Sirius was there, smiling softly at him. "Mon loup."
"Hi Baby," Remus whispered back.
Sirius' gloved hands were on the sides of his face, their helmets resting together.
And then Sirius started walking him backward, out of the tunnel, towards the benches, into the light of the arena.
"Oh?"
"Mhmm," Sirius was grinning at him now.
Remus could hear the cheers around him, loud and clear.
Sirius ducked his head and kissed him, there where everyone could see. He pulled away, still smiling.
"Changing things today? Before playoffs?"
Sirius shook his head lightly, biting his lip, "I told you, all I need is luck."
Then he reached for the chain around Remus' neck, pulling the ring out and pressing it to his lips. He tucked it away gently, eyes on Remus.
"Now I have it for the rest of my life."
And honestly, how was Remus meant to play after that?
He knew he was mirroring Sirius' grin, but he couldn't help it. He tapped his helmet to Sirius' and whispered back, "ours, baby."
They were smiling stupidly at each other, and then Remus continued walking backward, toward the ice.
Maybe they'd win this game, maybe they'd win the cup, but really, they'd already won.
"Another sweet moment from our favorite couple down there by the bench."
"Y'know, Lee, I don't think I've ever seen smiles like that right before a playoff game."

O’Knutzy Week Day 3
Prompt: Strategy || Risk
This is just a snippet of a larger piece I recently started :)
Basically Logan didn’t get drafted for the Lions and he spends the next few years pining away, and then he meets Leo and decides he needs them both.
Toronto, 2019
They were playing the Lions. Logan had known for months that he would be seeing Finn tonight. They'd talked about it every once in a while, with weak attempts at making plans.
They'd played each other before, so why did it feel so different?
Logan caught a glimpse of him, just a small passing glance in a side hallway.
The difference was Leo Knut in a well-fitted suit. Leo Knut with long legs and hair falling over his eyes. Leo Knut with a wide smile and a room brightening laugh.
That was what was different. Leo had Finn, and Logan didn't.

O’Knutzy Week Day 2
Prompt: warm || cold (a day late)
@oknutzyweek, character credit to @lumosinlove <3
CW: Smut, 18+
Leo had been looking forward to their summer off. A not-too-long summer, of course. But it was a summer he'd get to spend with his boys. Finn and Logan would be away from him for some of it, but they would be home with him too. The first day had been perfect.
They'd spent the next few days exploring the town and each other. It was sleeping in until the sun was high in the sky and staying up until the moon had started to go back down. Leo loved his boys, and he loved home. He didn't realize until now how much they had become the same thing.
There'd been plenty of late nights filled with soft kisses and plenty of mornings filled with sweet smiles. It nearly drove Leo mad watching Logan and Finn walking across the beach everyday. They knew it, too.
The best part, though, was that Leo knew he was driving them just as crazy and he didn't have to try. They would stare as he walked past, lick their lips when he talked, and fall into bed the second they were alone.
NOLA was always hot in the summer, but this summer was hotter.
Finn and Logan were hotter. Tan skin and bright eyes, smiles that shinned and lips that turned bright red. Something about them being here with Leo had warmed him. Seeing them around all the places he had to hide himself for so long made him want them more. It made him think about all the times he'd wished to just have this one thing, and now he had it and some.
Leo had just finished his shower after spending the day on the boat, when he walked into the bedroom and was immediately hot again. The other two were in nothing but their boxers on top of the bed, arms around each other. They were whispering softly, faces close and smiling even softer.
He stood in the doorway for a moment just watching them, a smile forming on his own lips.
Logan noticed him first, "Le, come here."
Finn turned his head back to look at Leo, smiling, "come here baby."
It wasn't hard to miss the way they were looking at him. He'd always notice their blatant staring, their smirks and dark eyes.
He walked slowly towards the bed, watching them watch him.
He could see the way their eyes trailed up his body, the way Logan paused to lick his lips and the way Finn craned his neck further to look. Leo knew the towel around his waist was doing nothing to stop his growing interest, and he knew that it was affecting both of the boys just the same.
As soon as he was close enough Finn was reaching towards him, one hand on the back of his thigh and the other pulling the towel off. Finn pulled him down until Leo was straddling his hips. Leo could feel him, hard beneath him. Logan's hands were on them, one running up Leo's thigh and the other tangled in Finn's hair.
"Do you feel what you're doing to us?" Logan said, voice low and rough.
"Mm, tell me." Leo gasped as Finn thrust up.
"Hot, Peanut. You make us hot," Finn choked out during another well-timed thrust.
Logan's grip tightened on Leo's thigh, inching upwards.
Hot. Leo almost wanted to laugh. They were always hot, and honestly, it was starting to become an issue. Hot. As if he wasn't just as hot at the sight of them.
A low moan tore out of Finn's mouth, and Logan's grip tightened.
"Harz-"
"Yes, Lo. Yeah," Finn breathed out. Logan rolled away, making Leo open his eyes to seek him out. He'd barely opened them before Finn was rolling them over. He leaned over Leo, knees between his spread thighs and hands framing Leo's face. "Hi, baby."
Logan was back in a second, laying down next to Leo on the bed and pushing a bottle of lube into Finn's hand.
"Le, do you want--"
"Yes," he answered quickly, "please, Harz."
Finn leaned back, moving so he was centered between Leo and Logan. He snapped the band of Logan's boxers, "off, Lo, off."
That was all it took. Logan stripped quickly and Finn covered both hands with lube. He pressed one finger in slowly and Leo let his eyes roll back at the feeling. He felt Logan tense for a moment before relaxing back against him. Finn fucked his fingers into them a few more times before Logan was begging for more. His voice sent heat down Leo's spine.
"More, Finn. Please. More."
Logan moaned next to him, and then a second finger was pressing into Leo.
"Le?" Finn whispered down to him.
"Yes," Leo pressed his hips back on Finn's fingers.
Again, Finn fucked his fingers in a few times and then curled them up. Logan moaned loudly, obscenely, next to him. His body was tense, side pressing up against Leo. Finn curled his fingers again, and this time he brushed against Leo's prostate. He moaned at the same time Logan did, their voices loud and ringing through the room.
He continued pressing his fingers in, pressing on both of their prostates over and over. Logan was moaning and rocking back against Finn's hand, which sent heat throughout Leo's body. They were all together and Finn had both of them ready for him. Logan's shoulder and hip were pressing steadily against Leo's, and Leo was pressing back. He reached up, where Logan's hands were above his head and grabbed one, entwining their fingers.
Leo looked over at him, his mouth was wide open and his eyes were squeezed shut. His forehead  had sweat over it, his hair sticking to it and falling away from his face. Logan always looked amazing in the heat of it, like he was made to feel pleasure.
Leo's eyes trailed to Finn, who was looking back at him with heat behind his eyes. Gorgeous, he mouthed, and Leo could only nod as another moan was torn out of him.
Slowly, Logan's foot moved from where it was next to his to tangle their legs together. From there he slid his foot closer to himself, pulling Leo's with and spreading his legs more. Finn moaned and Leo could see Logan's open mouthed smile.
"Fuck," Finn mumbled, voice cracking.
"Please," Leo responded.
Finn's fingers stilled, just for a second, "you think you're ready, baby?"
"Yes," Leo responded, "god, yes."
"Lo?" Finn asked, pulling his fingers out.
Logan nodded against the pillow, then choked out a 'yes.' Finn was quick to strip, leaning back over Leo and lining himself up. He pushed in slowly, eyes dropping closed as he went. Logan rolled so he was pressing against Leo's hip, watching Finn's movements closely.
Finn pushed in all the way and then fucked in, making Leo moan and his eyes roll back. He thrust in until he found a rhythm. Leo was breathing hard, panting out both the boys' names.
"Finn--" Logan gasped after Leo moaned loudly.
"Yeah, yeah. Okay, Le?" Leo nodded, "ready, baby?"
Leo didn't know who he was asking, but nodded anyway. Then Logan was moving. He moved to his hands and knees, crawling over Leo until they were face to face and their cocks were brushing with every thrust of Finn's hips. Leo looked up at Logan, their faces closer now and lips brushing.
"Ready, mon amour?" Logan whispered into Leo's open mouth.
He wasn't sure what he was meant to be ready for, but he nodded. He trusted them, with everything.
Logan reached behind him, holding Leo's cock and lining himself up, and oh. Finn was fucking him while Logan was riding him. This was new. They'd definitely talked about it before, too, which made it so much hotter. Logan groaned as he sank down, letting himself take all of Leo at once.
Finn didn't stop, and each thrust he gave to Leo went to Logan too. Logan who moaned each time and began circling his hips on Leo. Finn's hands were trailing up Logan's sides, and one stopped at his hip, tightening. The other moved to Leo's hip and trailed down his leg to move it around his own hip. It changed the direction of his thrusts, making Finn's cock push against his prostate, again and again. Leo began moaning, and Logan responded just as enthusiastically. He started bouncing on Leo's cock, his face open with pleasure.
Leo looked up at both of them, Logan's head was resting on Finn's shoulder, mouth open and filthy noises pouring out. Finn was looking down at where Logan's hips met Leo's, eyebrows furrowed and eyes foggy.
Looking at both of them made heat pool in Leo's stomach, made him so dizzy it hurt, "I'm gonna-- Finn, Lo--"
"Yes," Logan said, more of a moan than words.
They fucked him through it, Logan groaning as Leo filled him up and Finn pulling out in long strokes. When he finished Finn fucked Logan through both of their orgasms.
They lay there together, Logan in the middle and practically on top of them, for a few minutes.
When Leo's mind had calmed down a smile spread over his face, "that was fucking hot."
He felt Logan smile against his shoulder and saw Finn's face light up, "thought we'd show you how hot you make us," Finn said.
"Chaud, comme le soleil," Logan mumbled. "Je vous aime."

O’Knutzy Week Day 1
Prompt: Win || Loss
Character credit to @lumosinlove and thank you to @oknutzyweek for organizing this!!
He'd been anxious all day. He'd woken far earlier than he would have liked after going to sleep far later than he should have. Although, that could be Leo's fault. He ran in the morning after deciding it would be useless to go back to sleep. He stood behind Leo as he made breakfast and imagined what it would be like to have Logan there. Logan who was his now. Logan who would be home in a few hours.
He'd done his best to get stuff done but the hours moved slow and the minutes dragged on and Logan would be home. Leo, who had been working on something on his laptop, finally gave up when Finn dropped his book heavily to the floor with a groan.
"Go out, sweetheart, do something," he said, taking an air pod out.
"Where?" Finn whined.
"Go for a run again, darling, they help calm you down."
He was right, Leo was always right when it came to his boys. He knew what they needed and when. Finn needed to move. He needed to do something and there was nothing to do but wait. And god was he sick of waiting.
He left with a quick kiss and goodbye. Running helped. Not in the same way as skating did, but it was a way to let go. His mind would get caught in the rhythm of his feet against the ground and the steady swing of his arms. It was a time when he could let his mind wander into whatever he needed to work through. And now that was Logan.
He had him now. They had each other. They had Leo, and he had them. They would be together tonight and they had no where to be.
The thought of having them both there, in his arms, in his bed, drove him half mad. His feet hit the ground harder and his heart beat even faster.
This was what he'd been waiting for during the last eight years. Logan and Leo together with him. He had it now, both of his boys. It made him smile far wider than it should have during a run on a busy Gryffindor street. But he had everything, and everything had him. What was there not to be happy about?
Well, the fact that he hadn't seen Logan in a week was rather terrible. He'd come close to getting on a plane and flying there but Leo stopped him. It took several gentle reminders from Leo that even if Logan wasn't with them, he was still theirs. He loved him and he would still love him when he returned. It was only a week.
They had been apart longer than that before. But he had him now. Had him for one night and then he had to leave again. Leo reminded him that Logan was still theirs and it helped. Logan called every night and it helped. It was only a week.
It was only a week and he would be back tonight. Just a few more hours to go. He turned back towards the apartment complex.
If he timed it right maybe him and Leo could send more videos for Logan to get before he was home. Maybe he could give Logan a reason to be home earlier. Give Leo a reason to beg him to come home earlier.
His legs moved faster and his heart beat harder.
He was growing closer to home, closer to Leo, and closer to the time he'd have Logan back.
As he rounded a corner he caught sight of the setting sun between buildings and was brought back to a time five years earlier when Logan and him ran together.
"Keep up, Lo!"  Finn yelled over his shoulder, sprinting back through campus.
He didn't get a response, which made his steps falter while he looked back for Logan. It was the pause Logan needed to move past him, to run in front with a slap to Finn's back.
"Keep up, Harz," he mocked, French accent thick from exhaustion.
They continued their race back to the house, running circles around each other with laughs that were more puffs of air.
Logan stopped in front of the stairs and dropped his hands to his knees, "beat you," he sighed, looking up at Finn from under his lashes.
The air was still warm and his skin was sweat slick, his shirt clinging to his back. Finn continued looking at him while he stood up straight, hands on his hips. A smile grew on Logan's face as he looked past Finn to the sky, to the setting sun that seemed to turn the whole world the right shade of orange. It was reflected in Logan's eyes as he looked back at Finn, the smile becoming a grin.
“Pretty,” he said. He was still looking at Finn.
Finn knew then that he loved Logan. Maybe not how, but he knew it was something more. He knew he wanted to kiss him, not for the first time, and certainly not the last. God, he wanted to kiss him.
He stopped in front of the apartment building, stretching out his legs and arms quickly. He nodded to their doorman, who smiled back.
He still had his AirPods on, music still loud as he walked up the stairs. His mind was racing between thoughts of Leo and Logan. Leo, who was here, and probably preparing dinner now. Logan, who was on his way home, finally. Finally.
He was looking down at his phone as he opened the door, checking for any texts from Logan.
"Nutty," he said, scrolling through their texts, "I'm ho-" he looked up and saw Logan looking back at him over Leo's shoulder. "Oh."
Logan was sitting on the counter, Leo between his legs, with his chin resting on Leo's bare shoulder.
"Hi, Fish. I'm home too," Logan said softly.
He was home. Logan was home, here in his apartment. Finally. Leo had adjusted to look back at him, too. Both of them were there, and they were his now.
Slowly, he took out his AirPods, stripped off his jacket. Because they were here and he needed them now. He continued staring at them, at the way they were holding each other and the softness in their eyes. And, god, he loved them together. He loved them.
"I..." he started to say. But no, not yet. Not right now. Logan was here and he would tell him what he meant later. Logan was here, holding Leo. Finn got to come home to this, to them.
This was his life now, and he couldn't think of anything better. He had both of his boys with him now, both of them to love him and for him to love back.
He shook his head slowly, "I love my life."
Leo laughed, brightening the whole room.
Later, after they ate and spent the night together, Finn lay awake with both of the boys in his arms. He couldn't stop smiling. He had them, his mind kept repeating. They were all together and Finn knew he loved them the same way he knew he loved Logan all those years ago. Except, now he knew what it meant.
He thought about what he said, too. He used to say it all the time. When he'd been accepted to Harvard. When he had a goal, a hat-trick, or when his team won games. It would ring in his mind while he was with Logan and later with Leo. Because the feeling he had with them was the same as it felt to win. He was winning, with them. He meant it now, more than he ever meant it before.
How could he not love a life like this?

Nudging into the crook of your partner's neck for Finnlo if you’re feeling it?? ❤️❤️
Time for a Coast to Coast reread ig (I’ve added all of yesterday’s links to the short fic masterlist as well!)
Finn would know his footsteps in a crowd of dozens, the squeak of his yawn amid a symphony, the weight of his arms coming to rest over Finn’s shoulders more familiar than the touch of his favorite sweatshirt.
Logan made a low, sleepy noise as he buried his nose in the bend of Finn’s neck. Come to bed, it said. We’re waiting.
Finn let out a slow breath and blinked away the blurriness from his tired eyes, leaning back into Logan. A kiss fell upon his temple when he hummed in response. Hello. I’m sorry. I was distracted.
Logan’s nuzzle into the underside of his jaw was all the forgiveness Finn needed, and more than he could ask for. Callused fingers, pale from the dim winter sun, plucked at the front of his shirt until Finn gave in with a quiet laugh and stood, setting his novel aside to troop down the hall; Logan had hardly made it through the door before releasing him to curl into the parentheses of Leo’s body.
Leo’s questioning noise was little more than a second’s pop of sound while Finn exchanged his jeans for pajama pants. Got him?
Then came Logan’s answer, a puff of breath when Finn scooted in next to them both and let Leo sling a leg over their hips. Got him.
