I’m going to dust this thing off and post some drawings alongside lore tid-bits for my own FR head cannon. I have an Ice Flight lair that focuses on Gaolers of a Caln called IceFallen. Flight Rising is a place I’ve gotten a lot of inspiration from and it is a place I like to work on creative writing for myself. Some of my FR stuff gets mixed into my Dungeons & Dragons campaigns from time to time so you might see some of that here too! A quick Sleepy OC commission for  Miavinn on Flight Rising!

This is an animated shield possessed by the Seeker Shaiah, a wanna-be God of mischief and secrets. WIP I would like to test/learn animation with by making the eyes blink/roll around and the lower jaw move up and down.

FINALLY!! I have been working on this one for a couple of days! I am going to go back to daily drawings but this guy needed a lot of TLC. Mostly testing brushes and enjoying the warm fire :’) Thank you DaFlameDFZ for the commission!

A little guide spirit-type character that I am working on based on the Frostbreath Skink apparel item. Still working it out. Possibly a reference sheet to come. Guardian is my ICEFALLEN.

Finished a test color for the adopt base using a dragon of mine Eurwen! :) She doesn’t have any lore yet so she was a great blank-slate to work out color this base. I definitely see Gaolers as more lion-esque in body-type and I can imagine that their manes can be unique depending on heritage, climate, and styling choices. Next up will be exploring those differences (probably going to start with bust drawings). If you are interested in a Gaoler drawn this way feel free to message me here or on Flight Rising directly! Will price depending on genes/complexity of character, the addition of apparel or skin/accents etc.

Very pleased with this one. My new favorite brush is Kyle’s Classic Cartoonist Brush Tool using Adobe Photoshop. It has just enough grit to maintain a texture close to my original sketch and a very smooth application. 

Running late! Going to have a couple more uploads today to make up for it. Have been working on this Gaoler Base that I might turn into an adopt on FR. I have been exploring variations that I could apply to this breed of dragon within reason. This one has a straight, almost horse-like (or Veilspun-like?) mane and shorter hair in other areas. Message me if you are interested! I can probably do these for 250g-500g depending on the gene combination. I plan on coming out with a couple more variations based on my own dragons and their character concepts. This one is loosely based on Eurwen as a test. I will add the veined tertiary gene to the design for her when I get to color it and post it here when I am finished!
