⌛ Art vs artist 2023 - a way to stop and look back, take stock of a past year.

📘 A year with some noteworthy satisfactions, the publication of several publications with my illustrations: Autumn twilight, Shadow of the black rose, The journals of Kaz the Minotaur: the lost colony were released with the Dragonlance Nexus - the latter with the famous writer Richard Knaak. More illustrations for projects to be published next year. 🤝 Various private commissions, often full beautiful collaborations with people that opened for me doors to their cherised, secret worlds. 🎨 Few "personal" illustrations or in general creations - as often happens, sometimes a pencil sketch is enough for me to express what's on my mind - and, who knows, maybe one day I'll go back to expressing myself more. 🎭A difficult year from a health point of view, which started badly and ended badly; a year in which art was a crutch to move forward and lose myself in a world where things can go the way I want. 🎨 A year in which I worked hard on my private website, a collection of my latest paintings in a place where I can take all the space I want to tell, as well as show, each painting - a private space outside of the big platforms like Deviantart and Artstation, which from my point of view they betrayed the world of artists, making all the contents available to the big AI companies when few still knew what was happening, so that Ai generated images suffocated the space meant for art created by humans. || 👩‍💻 www.greenedera.com ||

Kaz left the minotaur islands with his family and a group of friends, towards adventure and the possibility of founding a new settlement. The seas of Krynn are wide and wild, fraught with danger and dotted with unknown islands. Where will the winds take Kaz? Are you ready to live adventure together with your favorite heroes? “The Journals of Kaz the Minotaur” by Richard Knaak is a special project, which includes both a novel and an adventure for DnD 5th edition, where you can play an adventurer in first person and find yourself involved in the story.

My new digital painting of Raistlin Majere, from the Dragonlance fandom. A speedpainting started with pencil, and finished on photoshop and Wacom cintiq in less than 3 hours. I wanted to keep it a bit rough, and enhance how the dark mage seems to be one with the shadows.

Miwa - the Bu-geisha

Miwa of the Barasume, is a strong, cold fighter, living in a fantasy world with notes of medieval Japan. Commissioned by Winterhawk.

Miwa is an OC for a NVM game set in Kozakura. She is a classic Bu-geisha (female samurai). She would be absolutely gorgeous however her face has been cut up and stitched together so many times from the clan wars that she has a crooked smile. She was married at 14 widowed at 19 and now is 20 years old. She's very strong and flexible for an Onna-bugeisha (female samurai), wearing a Kimono with odi. Miwa is a stern woman and was the judge and executioner on her husband's lands. She is strictly lawful neutral. She's also fairly intelligent but is unwise and often blurts out her perspective's and never lies about it. Digital painting, May 2022.

Reia, a swashbuckler OC in a roleplaying game, fell in love with Olea, a princess, yes, but also a golden dragon. A little moment between their busy schedule and adventures.
