What happened today at the Corregidora Stadium in Querétaro here in Mexico is one of the sickest, most horrible and most disgusting things I've seen in my life and in the last 22 years I've been a football fan.
If we get banned from the World Cup, I'll celebrate it. We deserve nothing more than not go to any international competition because the Mexican Federation is doing absolutely nothing to stop these type of things.

Today was a bleak day for my country 🇲🇽. There was a football game (soccer for those in USA), and things got... Beyond anything we could have expected. The followers of the two teams started a fight that was so bloody, so savage, that there are about 17-20 people dead. The videos are stomach turning... Worse than animals.
There is no excuse... And so far, so many theories... Was it because people are just going back after so long in lockdown that they lost control? Have we lost all humanity?
I'm so heartbroken and I can only ask for prayers for those who are waiting for their relatives and friends to come back, but won't.

i always enjoyed watching football on the tv with my family as a kid, but we never went to the stadium since my dad would always say it was unsafe. growing up I had a glimpse of what my dad meant, the fans of a loosing team would rage afterwards and probably destroy or vandalize public spaces.
today mexico lost at least 17 lives because fans of a football team violently assaulted fans of the other team in the bleachers. kids and men had to take off their shirts and run towards the field to avoid getting assaulted. mothers and their daughters had to hide within the bleachers to avoid putting their lives at risk. victims were left naked and with deep injuries. there are NO WORDS to describe how horrible this is, they suspended tomorrow’s games and the news are saying there are no victims.
mexico should be banned from soccer as a whole. until the fans learn how to have basic human decency.

Im just exhausted, sad and feel so powerless right now because the Queretaro government is denying that people have died and I just know they are just not going to do anything and is just something I can't put into words because of how bad am I feeling right now and is not even compared to what the people there and their families are going through right now so if you see this please I'm begging you to spread the word of what happened, send email, tweets, messages or anything to the FIFA, Liga MX, Mauricio Kuri and anyone else in a position of power or institution involved or related so they actually do something and make sure the people gets justice, hell make them ban us from the World Cup, make them cancel all the upcoming games in México since they didn't even had the decency to cancel the other matches today that were taking place as this situation unfolded
What happened at the stadium?

Imagine they end up giving Max a penalty so Lewis gets the championship and then Merc and RedBull bad together to take Michael Masi to court cause they’re both pissed at him
Merc and RBR teaming up would be the cherry on top of this clown season

Been watching this sport my WHOLE life and when people said this was the more interesting season so far I was like no it's not, this whole season has been bullshit after bullshit, the safety measures, the sprint races, the tracks, the number of races, the disrespect to drivers, the overlooking of rules it has all been bullshit
i don't want to be mean but sometimes it really shows that some people are only dts fans or have only been watching the sport for a little while. because the steward's and masi's decisions this year have been ridiculously inconsistent and indefensible. if you haven't watched any prior seasons, you would not be able to compare it to them and realise that people aren't just pointing it out because lewis lost, but because it's so glaringly obvious in contrast to the stewarding of prior seasons. i'm not saying there have never been inconsistencies before, but they have never happened to this extent. the blatant disregard of the rules, the bending over backwards to benefit one team and one driver, masi not being able to handle the team principals. it's been an utter shit show this year and today is a dark day for motorsports as a whole, not just for f1. what the fia did today sets yet another ridiculous precedent. the fia fucked both lewis and max over with this, sure, but they also fucked over all the other drivers on the grid. how is that fair? the fia tarnished the first title of max, robbed lewis of his eighth, and left the other drivers out to dry. and it's not the first time this season that the fia has disregarded the drivers' interests and also their safety. max not being punished for his moves in brazil has proved that the stewards and masi have no interest in doing their jobs fairly and this and all the other instances during the season accumulated in today's events.

Imagine being racially abused in your rookie year and even your teammate doesn’t come to your aid
Imagine having a 35.59% win rate only to hear them say it’s just the car
Imagine being an advocate of social change and they expect you to have answers for every social issue
Imagine being a 7 time world champion and being booed at more than half of the tracks you race in
Imagine living your whole career in scrutiny only to watch your colleagues get away with stuff you never could
Imagine being Lewis Hamilton

I see what you're doing Red Bull. 👀
Let's give Max a solo press interview with print media so that we can spread the propaganda that Max is treated unfairly and unjustly by the stewards and the FIA. Something you can't say in front of Lewis because:
Optics. It's not a good look to complain about unfair treatment next to a black man. You only look like an even bigger ass. Can't have Max acknowledge he's got more privilege with the FIA...
Feed into the whole narrative that Lewis is a scary black man and Max can't possibly speak freely because the blacks make him feel uncomfortable.
Gaslight everyone into thinking that Max is never wrong or at fault for any of his actions.
Prevent Lewis from being able to react live and poke holes into his arguments. Ie. Dude, you took the place back illegally under the place give back rules and gained advantage by driving past the track. And brake checking...
Undermine Lewis' achievements and elevate Max. Lewis only wins because the stewards/FIA and Max is treated unfairly.
Use the FIA's uneven application of rules against them. Red Bull would not be able to complain about this if the stewards had acted properly with penalties innumerable times, but most obviously going 30 feet wide in Brazil. So now the stewards have acted to penalize Max's dangerous driving and the stewards are the ones who are crazy (gaslighting). And this is on top of the fact that he was given penalties that did not affect his race result. If that's not the FIA looking out for you, I don't know what that is.
This is what happens when a team is in F1 purely to market energy drinks. They are ridiculously good at PR and promoting a narrative to their benefit.
And let's not forget how they use silence and never acknowledge when Max is guilty and at fault for something.

I'm just really emotional about this helmet okay.... like the picture with Lewis that says "dream team, thank you lewis," and the picture with Lauda that says "I miss you Niki" and the one were he's wearing his Fangio award with that dorky little smile and that one were Toto his hugging him while grinning so proudly and that one were he's standing on top of the world lifting that trophy and...... I'm just.... he loves this team so much and I love him so much and I'm not okay😭
