With this blog of beautiful screenshots’s reference photos (and with the subreddit r/CKTinder’s generous help), I was able to recreate Lady Dimitrescu in Crusader Kings 3 (with ahem good results).

obviously i have no actual right to ask you this as i cant claim ownership of any of these screenshots. they technically belong to capcom because its their character in their game engine. I'm only asking you to not do it out of courtesy. its kind of demotivating recognizing my screenshots being passed off as AI "art"

Not to mention how using AI in general hurts creatives right now. But thats another type of conversation and much more serious than this, obviously

(i would also be very grateful that if you re-edit my edits to repost them here on tumblr at least credit this blog! but, that's up to you. i still stand behind what i said about this crediting topic in previous asks but re-editing them just to post them again on tumblr is a different matter)

What do you like about Lady Dimitrescu 😁

Sorry it took me a while to reply, I could write an essay in response to this lol. To keep it short (kinda), she is just everything I love in a villain basically.

First I do love her lore and personality; love her huge ego and how unafraid she is to flaunt her power, and how she doesn't bend to anyone (except Mother Miranda of course, and even then she speaks her mind freely in the church cutscene, so she's not wholly submissive to her superior either; I always love a female character that refuses to be put in her place and is prideful to the extreme). She's unapologetically cruel and monstrous, but she is shown to be capable of loving others, namely her daughters (and she seems to have a sincere respect, if not fondness for Miranda as well, at least before everything went to shit). I love her loyalty to her family, but it was also her blind loyalty to Miranda that ultimately led to the demise of the entire House Dimitrescu. Love the tragedy of it all.

And her backstory intrigues me so much! I wanna know how she lived with her blood disease and what sort of impact did it have on her life pre-cadou, how she came to know and work for Miranda. Did she ever want children and asked Miranda for them or was something that she decided in that moment they woke up? Theres so much to explore in her character but in a way I'm glad these things can be kept to our imagination and thankfully a lot of talented fic writers in the fandom have explored these themes.

She has a mysteriousness about her and a certain way that she carries herself, in no small part thanks to Maggie's amazing performance both as VA and motion capture, seriously bless that woman! She moves gracefully and gently, reflective of her size; And even when she is attacking ethan. she rarely loses her composure.

Of course, I also love her aesthetic (hence the existence of this blog) and how much it suits her character. She's a visibly older woman, she's beautiful, intimidating, mysterious and so expressive. Seriously her face can tell so much and Capcom just hides most of it away, it's a crime.

and while not originally part of the reason I took an interest in her (even though the vibes were always there… the sapphics know), she's a lesbian (at the very least her writer has made it clear he wrote her with that intention, and that's pretty much all the confirmation I need). She makes her life, completely woman-centric, idk for me this is refreshing.

So yeah I like her a reasonable amount you could say 🥰 definitely don't think about her at least 20 times a day

Ahh thank you, that's very sweet!! Yes, same, I wish we'd seen more of her (and the daughters and other lords as well!). Capcom clearly didn't anticipate her to have us all on a chokehold like this, but it's impressive how the fandom is still going after two years, considering how minor her role in the game was.
