Bit late to the party, but here's my contribution to Trans Day of Visibility. This was my attempt on Whiteley Foster's "draw this in your style" challenge some time ago. My style being: painted on an 8x10 canvas. Fun fact: flappers would paint flowers on their knees, I tried with Crowley. But that $@#$^%$ing HAND...I had to consult our art major college kiddo more than once. Then xe said "it's a parallelogram" and oh! *headsmack*

So this is me.

If anyone reads this: I am a wheelchair user and have multiple autoimmune conditions and very chronic pain. But since about last October, things have really gone to shit.

My nonalcoholic liver disease is at stage 4 cirrhosis. So if I fall wrong, like I often do, it'll pop like a balloon.

I tried 6 different places because due to my symptoms, it's aspergillus. A fungus that's always around, but much, much worse in excess. We had a severe rodent problem, even with help from our cat, and the rats were 100% the vector. I was refused treatment, or even testing, by multiple practices. Including one doctor splashing "delusional parasitosis" across my records, which were shared around. She gaslit the FUCK out of me.

Then it killed our cat. She also had sinus cancer, which we didn't know about, but the vet wished us the best of luck because aspergillus is a bitch to get rid of in the house.

Then, FINALLY, a provider stuck a q-tip up my nose (was that so damn hard, other asshats?) which came back with aspergillus, penecillium, and e.coli. Went through a MONTH of BS from our insurance to cover the medication. Then, since the medication wasn't working, the practice tried to dump me. Then I ended up in the hospital with Covid AND double pneumonia. While the fungus is still trying to block my nose, ears, and my airway as well. Then I scratched my cornea from a fall, and it's not getting much better.

I've decided to stop with sounding rational and intelligent with doctors, and act like a huge bellend. Because assholes always seem to get ahead, right? I have another attempt in a couple weeks, and if they're not interested, I'm going to ask them where I SHOULD go, then. I'm so tired of 2 showers' worth of scrubbing EVERY DAY to get this crap off my skin. It's gone systemic, but at least my skin can breathe for a while.

YES. EXACTLY. The Biden administration has been breaking their backs with the cleanup from those nightmare years, which is using up valuable resources that have much better things to do to actually HELP people.

And how can 45, a man whose ego is responsible for over half a million lost souls be even REMOTELY allowed to run for even local dogcatcher?

I know the US government acts like a corporation but it’s not.

Not voting isn’t the same as a boycott. Because you can’t bankrupt a government by not voting. All you get by not voting is less control over what the money is doing.

The money comes from taxes, not voting. Abstaining from voting does nothing to reduce the governments ability to get money and spend it on shit.

So yes, sometimes you vote to reduce harm because not voting WILL NOT REDUCE HARM.

Did we find out at some point if this was the logo, something close to it, or did I just stick the testing swab too far up my nose?

Started a new project along the same lines of the Buggre Alle This Bible I did. Calling this one The Book of Mariam (if you know my first name, it makes sense), and it will have similar Illuminated Manuscript canvases based on themes from Good Omens season 2.

That's the cover, above. Rose colors based on the dozen roses that Chewy (yes, the company) sent us in sympathy for our cat's passing. Good people there.

It's already got a ridiculous amount of tassels I've made so far, with more to come. The far right one glows in the dark. NEV-AR EV-AR buy glow in the dark embroidery thread; when you cut it, it explodes. That tassel has so much hairspray on it, it stays straight upside down. Jeeminy Cheebidy, I do these things to myself on purpose.

I've noticed that Crowley/Twinkle-iel both do the same gigglesnort laugh. Twinkle-iel when he forgets to say "let there be light" and Crowley when he tells Jim/Goobriel that Aziraphale wasn't there in heaven that day, but he, Crowley, was.

(And most-demonic-we've-seen-him Crowley makes me have to go take a cold shower every time.😉)

The first pic is on the post of an earring. Small. And I FUCKING HATE IT. It's a spore of Aspergillus fungus. We found out it's in our house. It's made me very sick. And it took our beautiful asshole away from us.

Midnight had a human-level intelligence and was a delightful jerk. She was 15. Aspergillus fungus and orbital/sinus cancer. The vet assured us that we did the kind thing today.

And now I've got leverage, in a way. I've been having Aspergilliosis symptoms for months now. Can't shake it because I have multiple immune disorders. Even had an Infectious Diseases specialist tell me I had Delusional Parasitosis.

My dead cat would beg to differ, bitch.

Her saying that put me in a deep hellscape for 3 days, because I thought I didn't know what was real. Then I thought "hey, what the actual fuck," and started advocating better...remembering all the SCORES of ways the US health system has failed me.

I plan on being a SEVERE asshole in plenty of asses.

Crowley bleps a LOT around Jim-biel, trying to suss out if he's faking it. When he's explaining VAVOOM (and KUDOS to Jon Hamm because Goob's trying to do the Tennant/Crowley Left Eyebrow😄!), and infamously in the "Hello Gabriel" scene. It's been there the whole. Damn. Time.
