one thing I thing I think is weird is how neither jack or Mary met, encountered or heard of each other in any way for 300 hundreds years while both mostly being around the same area. not one book read about the other, no close encounter to each other or their hands work, nothing? I call bull
Hahaha right! They probably passed paths but Jack didn’t have memories yet and Mary was looking specifically for a human soul so they just walked past each other.
Both travel around the world but are in different hemispheres at different times.
After everything is settled down I can see Mary waking up in the middle of the night shaking Jack awake being all “OMG BACK IN 1805 THAT WAS YOU!?! AAAHHHH AND IN 1968 AT THE MARKET AND —“

Hello! Obsessed with your ROTG comic. I read some of the other comments and realize that maybe I should already know what a Star Boy and Nightlight is. I've only ever watched the movie so I'm not sure the deeper lore. Will this be explained in the comic or should I start deep dive researching? Hahaha

Don’t worry! It will be explained and drawn out in the comics, no prior knowledge needed 💕 😊
(The reader is just as in the dark as Jack is. Hehe) I kind of do my own thing with the book lore too so it’s not 100% accurate just me playing with fusing the two universes (book and movie) so I can play with concepts I like in stories.
