uhhhm so youtube has this a campaign called Hit Pause which is about taking a sec to think critically so that "Together we can stop the spread of misinformation."
I finally watched one of the PSAs when it came up and yeah someone reads a scary headline and the narrator says "make sure you consider the reason it was made" and then they show this:
The scary headline is "Kittens linked to BAD LUCK" so the joke is 'haha it was the mice' but...................
they really thought this was the metaphor that would curb misinformation huh?
