okay durgetash friends, i was thinking tonight. we all know about the chest in flymm cobblers and the chest in the bhaal temple.
in gortash’s chest you can find a ruby ring, which is to me a gift from durge. it’s blood themed, very on the nose for a bhaalspawn yeah?
so then i was thinking about the ring in the temple of bhaal, which i believe is a present from bane’s chosen. i did a bit of looking and realized green is one of bane’s preferred colors ?? (from the bane wiki). what use does a bhaalspawn have for jewelry?? (someone in the notes also pointed out the comment from orin about being “twisted in [gortash’s] cords” with the twisted band aaaaaa)
i’d also like to point out that google says verdelite is thought to “give execution force, continuing power, [and the] mental power necessary for realizing the ideal” while tourmaline is thought to “encourage love, gently disperse emotional pain and dissolve disruptive feelings” which is just an added funny as a gift from gortash. if you’re curious rubies are “stones of passion, protection, and prosperity” which is very enver coded from his durge. sigh.
so in my delusional head they have their rings in their chests <3 that is all.

Every once in a while (like yearly) I remember Ava’s demon exists, go through tumblr posts to see if the fandom is still kicking, and then go to the website only to find like 5-10 new pages at best.
