Regulus and James visit a hidden part of the black lake and share ‘fun’ facts
based on a headcanon/ edit by skylarihardlyknowher on tiktok posted on July 14, 2022 and a stiles quote

a/n: here’s the Marauders oneshot !! Sadly the Stranger Things one didn’t get finish but once I return from my trip it will be the first thing I post after this :))
Regulus Black was often called the second ghost of Slytherin House.
It was rather easy for him to move from place to place making little to no noise, his feet practically floating above the ground beneath him.
No one would ever see him enter a room but his presence would be known and acknowledged as soon as he spoke.
Despite how easy it was for him to get around unnoticed, James Potter always noted how he’d run off down the same particular path almost every day.
He never saw him return, but he’d always see him go.
If James had been closer to the boy he’d probably have asked him where he was going, but seeing that he only knew him through Sirius for now he’d just have to wonder.

“I think I know a spot,” were the first words out of Regulus’ mouth when James recommended they hang out.
They’d become acquaintances a bit ago and James wasn’t about to pass up the opportunity to make someone else his friend, so they needed to spend some quality time together.
“Right, ok,” he tried to hide the smile on his face as he followed Regulus down the path he’d seen him traverse for so many days.
It was so beaten he would’ve believed it was put there purposely if he hadn't known the younger boy had formed it himself.
“How’d you discover this place?” James’ asked, as they were now entering sections of the school grounds he didn’t even know existed.
Regulus shrugged, “Every day I just walked farther and farther away from everyone else until I found a spot I liked, nothing too special.”
James’ didn’t believe anything Regulus did could not be special, but that was just his opinion of him.
Curling around another bend, James made work out of avoiding the branches and brush that threatened every moment to knock glasses off his face with their springy nature.
Soon after he heard and honestly felt the new squelch of the mud beneath his feet, accompanied by a view of a lake. Well, not a lake, the black lake.
Somewhere along the way, they must’ve looped around, because there was no mistaking the murky ominous aura of the most well-known body water at Hogwarts. Either that or James’ had been too busy focusing on the twigs in his hair versus paying attention to where they were going.
Regulus had also not been paying attention, but that was because he knew the area better than he knew the manor he, unfortunately, had to grow up in.
As to what he was using the free time to think about, well, to sum it up quickly, water.
Water was all he could think about.
It consumed every thought without mercy or hesitation.
“I have to let it in,” he muttered to himself as he came to a stop, “I have to-”
“Wow!” James unknowingly interrupted, putting his hands on his hips, a wide grin spread across his face, “it’s beautiful out here.”
Even though the lake was intimidating, it always smelled like a mix of the earth after rain, and whereever you called home.
“So what do you do here, just sit?” He looked over at him.
“Sometimes yeah,” Regulus took a seat and James followed after him. He was unsure whether to tell him the truth. “Just to think things over.”
“Alright,” James looked back at the water, “I’m not the kind to sit and think, but I’ll give it a try.”
Regulus had never seen James look as calm as did during those fifteen minutes he was sitting there.
All the while he would occasionally share a random fact he knew that he found wonderful.
“Did you know humans like the sound of rain, because our brains see it as a non-threatening noise,” his voice slowly trailed off at the end, his lips once again forming a small smile.
“Hm, no I did not know that.”
Despite how bothered others were by it, James never really minded how Regulus’ reactions to things were, lackluster, as some would say.
“Why don’t you tell me something?” James had run out of fun facts.
“My facts aren’t really, I guess, light you would say.”
“It's alright, I don’t mind.”
Regardless of what Regulus might’ve thought, James honestly didn’t mind.
Somewhere along the way the two of them had moved closer to the water.
Instead of stuttering, Regulus just stayed silent for a moment, mulling over what he was going to say.
“You know when you’re drowning you don’t actually inhale until right before you black out,” he started running his hands along the surface of the water.
James made no response but Regulus knew he was listening.
Pausing for a bit, he put his feet in the water, half hazardously deciding whether or not he wanted to stand in it.
“It’s called voluntary apnea.”
At that point, he had lost all regard for the dryness of his shoes and pants and had resolved to wade at his pleasure.
His wandering thoughts brought him back to what he usually did in the lake.
Forcing himself under, purposely preparing to let the water in, as would inevitably be needed.
“It’s like no matter how much you’re freaking out,” he was simply speaking from experience, “the instinct to not let any water in is so strong that you won’t open your mouth until you feel like your head’s-.”
He struggled to find an accurate adjective.
“Exploding,” eyes still closed, James spoke barely above a whisper, but Regulus heard it.
Either the famed James Potter was also an astute mind reader, or Regulus was just that easy to understand. Or at least easy for him to understand.
“Then when you finally do let it in, that's when it stops hurting.”
Regulus had never gotten to that part. If he ever did, there would be no one around to save him.
“What do you do here, Regulus?” James was looking at him now, but Regulus wouldn’t meet his eyes.
There was no way he was going to. Telling that to anyone was a death sentence, and he tried to avoid those.
“I practice,” he finally looked up at him, trying his best to make his face seem warm.
Regulus had never seen James look so cold. He surely would’ve been frozen to the touch.
He knew, and Regulus knew he knew. But neither one of them would ever form the words to confirm or deny the suspicion they both had.
Just silence that would leave both of them dissatisfied.

Regulus never took James back to that part of the lake, and James never went back.
Not because Regulus didn’t trust him, but because he didn’t want to associate James with that part of his life.
James was the only thing still connecting him to the land of the living, and he didn’t need that sentiment muddied up by his funeral planning.
Plus it wouldn’t have been fair for him to know, James didn’t need another thing to worry about, and Regulus wasn’t going to be the person to give him another.
James worried about him anyways.

Cuddling with the Stranger Things Party
Here’s the follow up to my other post :) ALSO about my other post thank you so much for the positive reception on it !! It made my day :)) and so sorry if there are any typos I’m posting this later at night so my brain isn’t fully there
(disclaimer if you’re above the age of 18 please do not insert yourself they’re all kids idc how old the actors are the characters are minors don’t be gross ty)
In order- Dustin, Lucas, Will, Mike, Eleven, and Max
Dustin
He would either say no or hold on the first time so he could ask Steve for advice before saying yes
At first he would follow everything Steve said to the point where it’d be a little awkward because it seems too methodical, but eventually, his natural fluffiest would take over
Would end up admitting everything because he feels guilty for some reason
“Dustin, are you ok?” “Yeah,” “Are you su-” “Ok no! You beat it out of me! I asked Steve for advice and I’m using it wrong and it’s weird-”
After that blows over he’d get cozy and start talking about all the stuff he’s working on
However if you moved even at all it would throw him off completely and he’d have to start over
“The circuits on that one actually didn’t-” *you move* “??” “You can keep talking” “Ok um, ???”
He’ll get tired from talking and fall asleep mid-sentence like no slow down or anything he’ll just stop and suddenly he’s sleeping
He sleeps like a rock too so good luck waking him up
10/10, comfortable and you get to hear about his science project (you might get stapled to a couch tho)
Lucas
A little weirded out but he says yes because he feels a little honored that you asked him
Pats his lap like a mom before giving you a big hug
He will do everything in his power to make you comfortable because ironically one of his biggest fears is making people uncomfortable around him
He’ll get irrationally happy and will probably start saying some really sappy things regardless of what you’re saying
“Yeah, that’s the first time I ever had a milkshake” “Milkshakes are great, this is great”
“Then I found a moth” “Moths are so fun, this is so fun”
Might make a few jabs at you but in a joking way, but he’ll apologize anyway just in case you overthink it
“Yeah but you’re annoying :)” “Oh lol” “It was a joke, I’m kidding, I’m sO SORRY!”
Not in a weird way but he’s very warm
If you start talking he has a strange way of getting you to open up about things out of the blue and since he’s really supportive it all works out
“Yeah that hurt me a lot” “Well it seems you’re working through it, and I’m proud of you for that”
It’s very sweet
10/10, he’s warm and happy, a win win situation
Will
Like Lucas, he’s excited that you asked him but so much so that he’ll ask you to repeat yourself
tried to hide his excitement so he doesn’t come off as weird
Will pretty much move however you do so he doesn't ‘do something wrong’ as he’d say
Nervous x100
Assumes every movement you make is because you’re uncomfortable but tells himself to ignore it
You’ll probably have to verbally reassure him for him to finally calm down
If he ever does get comfortable he’ll probably still be hesitant to talk about things so you’d probably have to ask questions to get him to talk
“Yeah it was fun, but yeah why don’t you tell me about your campaign” “Oh! Uh, ok!”
His eyes would light up and like Johnathan, he’d slowly hug you tighter without thinking as he goes on
You end up having a sweet time he isn’t fidgety anymore
He might get teary if he gets a little too happy because he does that
He gets really touchy when he’s happy and therefore more cuddly so that’s good
After he starts talking however he will not stop talking and next thing you know you’ve been there for over two hours listening to him talk
10/10, once he get over being nervous he’s very enjoyable
Mike
He would be really weirded out by you asking but he would end up saying yes but the interaction would be really awkward
“Mike, do you wanna cuddle with me?” “What? Why are you asking me?” “Idk I just wanted to” “That's weird, but ok”
Too edgy 4 you
It would be beyond awkward at the start because it would seem like he genuinely did not want to be there but then you’d realize how he actually feels once you ask
“Do you want me to go?” “We’re already here and you’ve already taken my time.” “It’s really ok we can stop.” “It’s fine!” “Mike, really I’ll just move.” “No, we’re comfortable so just stay! I’m having fun, is that what you wanted me to say?”
Will feel embarrassed for admitting he actually enjoys something
After he gets over it he actually gets really cuddly
If he gets really comfortable with you he’ll probably start just talking without thinking about it
Will probably end up with like his arms and legs wrapped around you because he’s unaware of his movements when he gets invested in what he’s saying
His love language is touch but he’d never admit it so it only happens when he’s not thinking
He’d probably end up being really touchy (not in a weird way) with you after the fact, but would not acknowledge it
Very awkward at first but by the end of it he’s lovely, 10/10
Eleven
You would have to somewhat explain to her what you mean but after you did she would say yes without thinking but of it
Not because she doesn’t know what cuddling is she just didn’t really associate the word with it
She’d wait for you to make the first move and when she does move it’d be weirdly methodical
It would definitely feel like the awkward hug you give someone who’s crying because you don’t really know how to comfort them properly
She also wouldn’t move much at first
After a bit, you’d have to let her know that she can be comfortable
“El, you know you don’t have to stay still, you can get comfortable.” “Oh.” “…” “Ok:)”
She will take ‘comfortable’ and run with it
Somehow she will end up upside down and she’ll be giggling the whole time for no reason
Every five minutes she’ll have to move because she can’t get truly comfortable
Will stay latched onto you the whole time
If she gets really comfortable with you whenever her mind drifts off she’ll start asking you random questions, but not to be funny but because she’s genuinely curious about the answers
You wouldn’t able to tell by the way she’d smiling up at you awaiting an answer as if she somehow assumes you’re gonna answer wrong
She’s very adorable about it
10/10, very comfortable with lots of smiling
Max
Her response would be really lackluster, like she’d probably respond with, “yeah sure” after a small pause to think it over
Would probably just pay her head on your shoulder and somehow make you afraid to move
She would of course sense this and start a conversation to make it all less awkward
It would still be a little off until she smiles and starts feeling more comfortable where she is
Would probably up sort of laying on you because she uses her hands a lot to talk but she doesn’t want to turned away from you
Mainly because whenever she talks she likes to look at people's faces to see whether they’re still interested, but now also to see if you’re still comfortable
She’d say something really weird at one point and you both would start laughing
“That’s the same day I learned trimming fingernails is weirdly therapeutic” “…” “…” “BAHAHAHAHAHA”
After a bit she’d probably get really tired because I feel like she get tired super fast, and will start to doze off
If she’s not super comfortable she might try to move a bit so she doesn’t fall asleep on you but if she was she just falls asleep against your shoulder
10/10, itd take a bit for her to get used to you but after that you’d both have the funnest time

Cuddling with the Stranger Things Older Teens
I’ve been thinking about this for a very long time and decided to write this to revive my tumblr 😭 I will be doing one for the party too :D (also shoutout to all the shifters who see this let this serve as motivation for your adventures)
In order- Robin, Steve, Eddie, Nancy, Jonathan, and Argyle
Robin
It's very easy for her to get comfortable in any position. You’re elbow stabbing her stomach? She’s fine! You’re laying on her throat? If she can still breathe she’s good!
This is amplified especially if she’s already rambling on about something because she is more focused on not trying to sound stupid in front of you
In between thoughts, she’ll ask if you’re still comfortable or if she needs to move
“You’re still ok right?” “Yeah I’m fine” “Are you sure? Like 100% sure. Because I can move like I’m totally fine with moving, it's really easy.”
Would definitely be more like a base for you to snuggle up to because she moves her hands around to talk a lot
If you were the one sitting up she’d just lean her head against you as she keeps talking
After she’s been talking for a while if she needs a break she’ll just lay there in silence for a few minutes before continuing on
If you fell asleep she would definitely freeze up until you woke up
Overall a comfortable experience and you’d probably get to hear all about whatever she was obsessed with at the moment
Steve
He’d probably be a little hesitant because he’s not incredibly touchy, but since Dustin is he sort of learned to be
Touch starved growing up so he does not know how to accept it
His default would be to just hug you, but he’d move however you moved, trying his best to not make it awkward and to not ‘mess up’ as he’d say
Would fake confidence because he’s dated many girls in the past, but he honestly does not know what he’s doing
If he ever ended up uncomfortable he would ignore it and would deny his discomfort at all costs
“Steve, are you ok?” “Of course! Why do you ask?” “You’re tearing up” “Those are happy tears because I’m so comfortable!”
He’d somehow get you to believe him, either that or you’d have to hide your movement so he doesn’t end up feeling bad
Would get very cuddly and would probably end up sharing his innermost thoughts with you
He’s a weirdly comfortable person like a giant pillow so you’d get sleepy really fast, his hair is also really soft so that’s a plus
If he did fall asleep he’d make sure you did first to make sure you’re ok
10/10 you both end up asleep
Eddie
Always, and I mean always up to cuddle with literally anyone he knows, yes it’s because he’s touch starved but in the opposite way of Steve where he’s very touchy
Would pretend you’re weird for asking but, of course, he’s joking
“You wanna ‘cuddle’ with me?” “Yeah” “That’s so weird wth” “Oh” “I’m kidding, IM KIDDING”
Latches onto you immediately and won’t let go until you let go
He moves around a lot until he gets comfortable and you will probably end up as his pillow whether you like it or not
Makes sure his hair isn’t all over your face because it does that a lot
He wouldn’t ask you if you were ok with him talking a lot he would just give you a look and you’d sort of have to notice
“Eddie?” “Hm?” “Would you like to say something?” “Yes, ok so-“
Would whisper “are you sleeping?” in your ear a little too close and would get really apologetic if he accidentally woke you up
A very fluffy person 10/10 experience
Nancy
She is not a very touchy person at all and would be very reluctant to say yes and would probably resolve with an “ok but only for a few minutes”
However if she was working and you asked she’d absentmindedly say yes without really thinking about what she’s agreed too
At the beginning she’d just sit down and she would be very awkward about everything but after a little while she’d warm up to you
You’d be able to tell when she’s comfortable because she’d stop tensing up and just relax
She would have her eyes closed very tight and she wouldn’t really speak to the point where it’d be a little concerning
“Nancy? Are you ok?” “Yes.” “Are you sure?” “Yes.”
If she falls asleep be prepared to never move again because she goes deadweight pretty much immediately
Since she’s always busy she will more likely than not fall asleep
It takes some getting used to but she’s sweet 10/10
Jonathan
He definitely grew up cuddling with Joyce and Will a lot so I feel like he’d say yes and not think much of it
Very much the type to hold you versus having you hold him because with his family he was always the one doing the holding
He would let you hold him but you’d have to ask
Surprisingly takes up very little space because he sort of just curls up with his knees pressed to his chest to make sure you have enough room to get comfortable
Would sit there in silence but not in an awkward way it’d be a comfortable silence
It’s weird to describe but he has the same vibe as a cold pillow so you might get a little sleepy
If he’s either high or just very comfortable with you about 30 mins in he’d start asking you the most random of questions
“What do you think frogs think of puddles?” “Hm?” “Like, imagine finding a smaller version of your house” “Jonathan-” “Just saying it’d be a little weird”
Eventually he’d up silent again and his hold would get tighter than before as he slowly gets used to you, but he somehow isn’t aware he does this despite doing it every time
Overall you’d feel very secure and comfortable, plus you’d get to hear a wild thought, 10/10
Argyle
Of course he would say yes
Basically a giant teddy bear this man is so cuddly
Would probably just close his eyes and wrap his arms around you before whispering ‘this is nice’ in the most stereotypical way
Makes comments about your clothes if the fabric is uncomfortable or especially if it’s really comfortable
An awkward silence will not happen because if it does he’ll call it out and start a conversation
If he’s high he might try to stand up before apologizing
*he tries to stand up* “Dude I’m still here!” “Oh sorry man totally forgot you were there”
Will randomly start singing just because he likes singing and he does it whenever he’s comfortable around someone
If you guys started talking if something you said reminded him of a story he would immediately change the subject because he needs to get the thought out
“Yeah, I had a frog once and-” “FROGS! That reminds me-”
Would later on apologize for interrupting you
If he somehow ended up uncomfortable he would definitely tell you but he would make sure you didn’t feel bad about it because to him it’s not really a big deal since it’s an easy fix
Overall he’s a very comfortable and chill person, 10/10
I forgot how fun writing stuff was so I think I’m gonna start posting a lot more now. Anyways, I hope you guys like it :)

like if your struggling with science she’ll pull out a whole study plan and you’ll ace your next text
‘Brenda, did you take this from the teachers office?’ ‘No these are my notes’ ‘...you write down everything the teacher says?’ ‘You don’t?’
She’s dedicated
but for the things she couldn’t be bothered studying for she has way of sneaking the answers in that she’s more than happy to share with you
‘Alright so be sure to wear a long sleeved shirt so-.’ ‘Brenda are you sure you don’t wanna just help me with math?’ ‘🤨but this is easier?’
if you ever convince her to help you study something else she’d probably end up just as confused as you
50/50 chance but you’ll probably leave having learned something
Harriet
a whole mom
she brings star stickers so whenever you get something right she can put a star next to the problem you did
‘Harriet you know I have to turn this in right?’ ‘Mhm, and they’ll know how much of a star you are’
it was supposed to be a study date where you help each other but she’d just end up helping you with your problems, claiming her stuff could wait
even if you said you didn’t need it she’d insist on helping
‘ I’m really fine, let’s do some of your work’ ‘But you’re struggling’ ‘I’ll be fine let’s focus on you-‘ ‘But you though’
the only way you’d get to help her is to finish all your work
she probably wouldn’t need much help but would definitely pretend like she did to not make you feel bad
‘Didn’t you ace Econ last year?’ ‘Yes, but I forgot everything over the summer’
Note: she in fact did not forget everything
Great study partner
Sonya
she definitely picked up some tips from Newt and decorated her notes like he does, just probably not as organized
like she has cute paperclips and stickers but they just go wherever she thinks they’d look nice rather than to help her memorize things
‘Sonya, why did you highlight last month's assignment just now?’ ‘Because this page had a bunch of blue stickers on it so I added a pink one’
loves explaining things but will probably get confused somewhere along the way
‘So that’s how you solve for x!’ ‘Sonya we’re solving for y’ ‘??’ ‘There’s no x in the equation’ ‘...must’ve missed that’
In the end you’ll end up on the right track
will share her stickers and highlighters so you can make notes in your books and such
also will leave notes in the margins of the notes she shares with you
like you’ll be reading about a historical event with a little ‘skim this part it’s boring!’ on the side
overall will help you get better
Teresa
very set on helping you get good grades
like neither of you are leaving until she’s confident you’re confident
also very aggressively supportive
‘Teresa it’s fine we can do something else’ ‘No! I want you to succeed’ ‘it’s really ok I just can’t get it-‘ ‘NO you will get it’
takes being your study partner very serious and will bring the notes for whatever class your struggling dating back to the beginning of the semester
is genuinely proud when you get things right
however if you ever succeed but the teacher gives you a bad grade for no reason she will confront them on your behalf
you will get good grades because of her if it’s the last thing she does

Alright! I should have it posted this week :)
Tmr Boys studying with you
A/N: procrastinated studying to write this (dw I eventually did my math) also I did in fact remember to make zart and frypans longer :)
Minho
he would probably get hyper focused before he just stops
either that or he just won’t study at all and will end up doing something else
‘Why aren’t you studying?’ ‘It’s so boring!’
is actually really smart but in very specific areas
when you actually get him to study you’d have to explain the same concept to him over and over because he can’t get it
half because he’s just like that, half because he’s more interested in listening to your voice rather than understanding the information
sometimes he does understand but pretends like he doesn’t just to get you to talk some more
‘Minho this is the 5th time I’ve explained this.’ ‘Yeah just one more time I promise I’ll get it’
spoiler alert: he didn’t get it
Thomas
like Minho hates studying and only gets work done when you’re around, but unlike Minho who just doesn’t want to he’s just kinda dumb (affectionate)
“[Name] what’s a ‘greater than symbol’?” “Crocodile.” “Right!”
ends up either half asleep or playing with your fingers because he can’t focus
tries to convince you to do literally anything else
he’d probably end up watching you study and when he sees you understanding he’d want to

gets excited whenever he gets something right and gives him a bit of motivation before he ends up asleep on his desk
he tried for you but what can I say he’s a sleepy boy

really good at studying, like has a whole notebook of school notes with decorative stationary (washi tape, watercolor markers, he’s very much a stationary girlie) and colorful tabs
actually helps you get work done

Tmr boys if you gave them a rock
A/N: found a TikTok in one of my albums from Marauders TikTok (ooh Marauders TikTok 😊) of someone doing this with them so I had to do this with my favorite boys. also I live in a reality where Newt survived and I will not be taking any criticism on that fact (fight me and you will not win).
and sry I have no ideas for zart and frypan and I didn’t wanna just make theirs extra short bc they deserve full length ones so I’ll make theirs longer in the next post I do :)
Minho
his first instinct would probably be to take it and throw it at someone
‘A rock? Thomas! Think fast!”
but once he realizes you wanted him to keep it he’d take it in his pack whenever he went on runs through the maze
he’d joke about it being his good luck charm
after they survived all the crazy stuff from the maze to the scorch trials and he realized he had it with him the whole time he’d claim it genuinely was his good luck charm
when he got taken by WCKD they’d ofc take it from him but he’d put up one hell of a fight trying to keep it
once he was rescued he’d probably find it and cut someone with it because he can
would probably stay attached to it until he saw you again and then he’d keep it as a memory since he’d had you again and that was enough
Thomas
he be so confused but then he’d get weirdly excited about it
it would definitely add to his ego that he’d received a present despite it just being rock and go around gloating
‘look at this rock [Name] gave me’ ‘isn’t it cool?’ ‘look there’s a sparkly piece on the end’
the excitement would probably die down in a couple days but he’d still keep it because it reminds him of you
eventually it’d become as important to him as Newt’s letter, or Chuck’s wooden sculpture, especially if you gave it to him in the maze
would probably make some stupid decisions and end up in bad situations that he only gets out of by sheer luck trying to protect it or get it back if he was ever without it
Newt
I feel like he’d be so swept up in the chores of the day that he probably wouldn’t think much of it at first depending on when you gave it to him
‘I’ve finished counting our inventory, reviewed everyone’s jobs, made my hammock, thanks for the rock [Name], now I just need to wash my clothes-‘ etc. etc, you get the idea
once he realized that you’d given it to him he’d probably give you a confused look, like the one unsettled tom meme
he’d get over it pretty quickly and simply keep it in his pocket, being sure not to lose it because as he’d say ‘it’s rude to lose things gifted to you by friends’ but it’s really because it’s specifically from you, and also because Newt’s a great person
throughout the all the trials whenever he felt nervous about having the flare or as if he shouldn’t be with his friends at all because of it he’d look at it for a while and it’d make him feel better
Gally
he’d give you a look mixed between confusion and disgust, ‘why the hell are you giving me a rock?’
he’d end up taking it, but not after asking a bunch of questions about why and what gave you the idea to give it to him
would definitely act like it wasn’t a big deal and like he didn’t care about it but he would make sure to take it everywhere with him and wouldn’t let anything happen to it
having it with him would become a part of his daily routine, wake up, get ready, grab the rock, go to work
‘I’m not obsessed with the rock I just don’t want anyone to touch it or ruin it, for [Name]’s sake’
in the end it’d be the only thing from the maze he’d still have once they all made it to the safe haven because he’d gotten so used to protecting it, it was his favorite thing after all
Aris
he wouldn’t understand at first wondering why you were giving him of all people a rock but I feel like he’d be quick to take it just to have
he’d get really attached to it really fast and especially in the second book since he didn’t know anyone too well he’d probably latch onto it
unless he somehow found a way to keep it on him, he’d feel awful about getting it taken from him when WCKD took them despite it not being his fault
when he was rescued if you ever gave him another one he’d latch onto it as quickly as the first being sure never to lose this one
would probably talk to random people about it in the safe haven and especially to you because he was so fond of it
eventually he’d give it a name and start talking to it when no one was around
not because he’s crazy but just for the fun of it

A/N: some of them remind me of kids from my school so it inspired me to just write this :)
Minho
he would be popular for being good at every sport, like all of them
he was that one boy in primary school that every girl liked because he was the fastest runner who won all the races held at recess
him, and Thomas get in trouble a lot and end up in detention together, leaving Newt to have to bail them out

definitely that one kid who always wore shorts in below freezing weather

he had the initial popularity that came with being a new kid and it just never went away
not everyone is friends with him but everyone knows him on some level
definitely runs to hit the top of every door frame

TMR Boys playing Minecraft
A/N: saw someone in a different fandom do this, and I just revisited some of the old Minecraft YouTubers I used to watch (specifically LDShadowlady and StacyPlays) and since TMR is my current hyperfixation here’s this
Minho
takes the game way too seriously would try to speedrun killing the ender dragon
would definitely get addicted and finish the game in one night
after that he’d try to get every achievement before spending the next month trying to get to the farlands
his inventory consists of full diamond armor, an enchantment table, and every potion in the game x64
Thomas
an absolute menace
at first he’d play the game normally building a wooden house and whatnot but as soon as he discovers tnt it’s over for everyone else on the server
since he’s one of the admins no one can kick him so everyone just lives in fear of Thomas and his inventory full of tnt
he targets everyone but Newt

at first he wouldn’t see the appeal of the game but eventually he’d get into it and start building a life for himself
within two hours he’d have a house, a farm, and several dogs that he grinded for because he wants to feel like he earned his living even if it’s a game
no one messes with his stuff like ever because Thomas once accidentally blew up part of his house and he gave him a lecture about dynamite control and didn’t speak to him afterwards for a couple days
he’s very respectful of the villagers even though they aren’t real because Yk, Newt’s a great person
Gally
he tried survival, got frustrated, and resigned himself to making stuff in creative
since he was the keeper of the builders in the glade his thing would be just making intricate buildings and just walking around in them
he has his own server everyone but Thomas is allowed on that’s just a bunch of replicas of real life structures that come together into a giant cityscape
Newt definitely has a house in Gally’s city
extra thing, on the main server they’re all on he’d gather an army of dogs and get Thomas to hit him just for the satisfaction of watching Thomas get mauled to death by his Minecraft dogs. Or he’d just kill Thomas for fun

he tried survival because Thomas convinced him to but he’d be really bad at it like he’d die all the time

but eventually he’d discover red stone, and he’d make a bunch of cool stuff
especially with music blocks like he’d recreate songs he liked
him, Sonya, and Harriet have their own server and Aris does concerts in the town Sonya and Harriet built
Zart
he plays the game just for the flowers
he also made a little birch wood cottage that’s across from Frypan’s oak wood cabin
once he’d collected all the flowers in the game and made a garden around his cottage he’d get all the flower mods
him and Frypan share a garden where Zart grows flowers and Fry grows food
sometimes the others will wake up to flowers around their houses and everyone knows Zart put them there despite him always denying it
Frypan
he’s a very reliable player to have on your team
this man has a whole farm, and always has like 64 stacks of every food
also he found a village upon spawning and decided just to live with them in his cabin
usually he’s just farming or going on scavenger hunts for plants with Zart
however when Minho was going on his several quests he accompanied him as a food source so Minho could carry all his weapons and potions
He also has a farm in Gally’s city
