New earrings!
These have an amazing iridescent frosted surface,
This is achieved by rolling the aqua glass in mica-powder while it’s still molten hot, the mineral fuses to the surface and then makes this iridescent finish which looks like Tiffany glass.

How long have you been making glass art? What should a beginner know as they start out? I’ve been interested in learning how to work with glass, but there isn’t much for information where I live. Thank you for your time!! xxx
I’ve been a glass artist for about 20 years now.
When I got started I learned mostly from books and by trial and error, now there is YouTube! I’d start there and practice as much as you can. You’ll make progress fast if you practice every day.
Tip: you don’t have to start with expensive equipment, you can start melting beer bottles with a regular plumbers torch

I made a new pair of these pastel blossom earrings!
I spent so much time getting the pastel colors just right. I wanted the colors bright but not cloying, just faded enough to look like something from your memories.
