Begging people to stop reblogging this AI trash from âThe Phantom Painterâ on Instagram (instagram.com/phantom.painting). Iâve been seeing it on my dash more and more often from people who are otherwise anti-AI and either canât tell itâs AI or donât care because it looks cool.
This is the kind of shit that is VERY CLEARLY trained on the works of existing talented artistsâ with distinct styles and this asshole is selling prints and making a profit off of stealing other peopleâs hard work.
Donât give people like this money or attention and they will go away.
Please, if youâre going to buy art prints, buy them from an actual artist.
The first ever Draw This in Your Style challenge!! At least that Iâve actually posted This year I actually participated in the prompt from the ever talented @karolinepietrowski on Instagram đ
I couldnât resist making everything â¨glittery⨠but I think it works đ
An artist : Aw man! I saw my arts were reposted on Instagram. Iâve asked them to take my arts down but they ignored me.
Me : Say no more! Click this link, then click âfill out this formâ. Fill the form and wait for about 1-2 days, the staffs will remove the image you were reporting from the reposterâs account :^)
A painting I created for my artbook that felt appropriate to post now, because hot weather has finally come to my area of the world and now all I think about is being near cool, clear water đ
I have never heard of Norman Rockwell. I donât understand anything about art. But this picture shook me and caused a storm of emotions. It is called Breaking Home Ties, 1954
The boy is going to a Uni and wearing his best outfit; the Uni sticker is on his luggage, even his tie and his socks are the colours of the sticker. He is excited and impatient. The father - obviously a farmer, is sitting at the worn farm truck with a flag and a storm lamp, because their place is so small the train wonât normally stop there, so the father will need to âcatchâ the train and signal with the light and the flag for it to stop.
His son will never come back to the farm. Â
I think I understand why this picture sold at 15,4 million dollars in 2006.Â
I have to work on my line art weight and texture so that it is more interesting and also learn how to ink and crosshatch and also incorporate more lost edges and a loose more impressionist painting style and also learn more about lighting of scenes and visual development and-Â
I asked and people seemed interested, so here's a breakdown of Din's armor!
Please note that not all of this is 100% screen accurate and comes mainly from my own experience drawing him and cosplay experience! So keep that in mind.
I tried to get multiple angles on the more complicated stuff, like the chest plate and the gauntlet, cause those are the ones I personally find most difficult! But other than that, I cannot recommend using 3D references enough! Specifically I use this model and this whenever I draw Din and used them a lot for this tutorial. You can spin him around right on the webpage so you don't need to download software or anything!
Other than that I really recommend just drawing him a lot, from lots of angles! That's the best way to get comfortable with drawing this funny tin guy.
Depending on the response, I might do another reference for the soft bits/extra armor/belts! Just lmk on here or in the tags if you're interested. Oh and also one for Boba or Paz!
And if this helped you, consider reblogging and even following if you wanna catch more as it arrives! :)
Hope this helps! And say thank you to stando for his help as a demonstration!
Tagging some people who expressed interest :) @spaceydragons @nichtsneu @chicknstripz @constellata @rexandechosandwich @vawrecktyl @cry-your-own-goddamn-river @galacticgraffiti
I couldnât make individual gifs of this whole this so MADE A VIDJEW FOR YEW GOIS ! I didnât know what else to make of my animation, so I decided to make it into a little quick tutorial. Hope it helps!
No hallway is complete without artwork on the walls. And a kitty to supervise the process of hanging them up, to make sure it doesnât end in disaster.
