american leftists don't have a good grasp on imperialism which is why you see many of them with ukraine flags in their names, supporting nato, and many of them completely discrediting actual decolonialization as a concept. it makes them uncomfortable. they just want healthcare and to be able to afford a home, which are good things on their own, but not enough for the liberation of a global working class.
american leftists seem extremely focused on anti imperialism (good) but rarely- if at all- discuss decolonization in their own fucking country, despite acknowledging that it is a settler colonial state.
