Pencil Sketches!

This young man, adopted son of a noble family in Sankt Petersburg, tends to lurk in the shadows. He educates himself a lot, and yet never takes a leading position.. He always finds someone to latch onto.

A girl that chose to live unseen by everyone, that chose to be forgotten.

This guy started off as a vagrant together with his twin brother and a fellow drifter, but will end up making it big.

Imperial hovercar design! The magical world has hovercars, and I basically thought of designing one that's basically the Rolls Royce of them all.

The wife of the Chinese emperor is a mysterious, stern-looking woman, and the epitome of her husband's expectations. It seems that she rarely eats, and never speaks.I really cringed when drawing the feet of this one.. The practice of foot binding is absolutely disgusting to me, and with my best efforts to keep an open mind, I see no beauty in disfigured feet with which you can't even walk... Alas, had to draw them this way, for the sake of authenticity..

A clothing concept mostly centred around those crystal wings~

The only digital one in this set, this girl is a brilliant child sorceress.

Uni started again, and this term I'll be drawing mostly characters, and all around things related to my graphic novel.

1. This one is the concept for the Japanese character, doing what she's best at: water magic.

2. Another challenge, involving a couple, now. Never drew a couple before, believe it or not. XD

3. This concept was a lot of fun to make: first time properly drawing chainmail armour, first time properly shading a weapon, and the subject matter itself felt unique to me.This character is a Norse young girl in a line of brothers meant to rule, however, she is far from the first choice for that. She is thrust into a war she isn't prepared to fight against foes she doesn't want to face.. Viking or not, she faces battle with reluctance.

I am so happy to have completed another spread for my graphic novel.. Only took me two months and a back ache, better hurry up next time. XD

I will only include here one panel of the spread, but this one is basically as big as the whole first page. Just no important plot points, as I still need to publish this, someday.

The character here is preparing to leave his home and go on a journey, it's happening at dawn.
