A lot of tropes are also popular for a reason and I'll draw whatever the fuck I want however many times I want in however many iterations I want if I like it lol

general grievous is one of the characters ever. he’s a pile of lizard organs in a robot suit. he has four arms. he was invented before george lucas had any idea what his personality was and everyone thought he had to be the coolest guy ever and then george decided he was an absolute fucking clown and didn’t tell anyone else. he has two different backstories, one of which is him being a tragic warrior-king fighting to preserve his spirit and to avenge his dead queen, and the other is him being an asshole who turned himself robot because the jedi wouldn’t invite him to their parties. he has some of the most raw artwork ever. his real name is qymaen jai sheelai. he has a moe schoolgirl version. they had to spend all of clone wars writing it so that he never met anakin because of one line. he killed a jedi named after shaggy from scooby-doo and another jedi named “master baytes.” he was trained by count dooku and the only thing dooku taught him was spinning. his voice is like 80% post-processing. he has a cough because george lucas had a really bad cough. the cough he uses is george lucas coughing. he has a pet monster and a sassy robot doctor. he has an infinite combo in lego star wars skywalker saga. nearly every one of his lines is a solid meme. i dressed up as him for halloween as a kid. he’s great.

Personally, I was born in a town where people generally live there their whole lives, but my family moved when I was young, and as an adult, I've lived a few different places. I would never move back to my birthplace, or my university town, but I would move back to my 'hometown' where I grew up. I ended up where I am now by chance for work, and I really love it. I think that I got very lucky. But it's been five years, so I'm thinking of the future.

I want to go back to telling my WoL's story, there's a Star Wars story I worked on an off on set in the Clone Wars era called Starfall, a Digimon fan story Aurora, and wanting to retell a story about my characters in WoW, set in the past expansions and in a more expanded world, just to name a few

The remake reboot prequel sequel industrial complex is killing me but the good thing is I don't have to watch any of that. I can just think "that sounds boring or otherwise doesn't interest me in any way" and do something other than watch it

Thought about Revenant again and I'm still annoyed over how the character's potential in what stories could be told surrounding his situation, and the characters related to him, as well as how many themes could be explored, all went totally down the drain lol

At least the fandom's creations provided me with far better sustenance

i do enjoy “living weapon” characters but specifically living weapons who did in fact do absolutely horrific things which at least a part of them enjoyed and thought was good and right at the time, and that no amount of not knowing any better or guilt they feel in hindsight will ever make up for. i love living weapons who are “irredeemable”, and no it’s not their fault that they were made that way or pointed in the directions they were by the hand that wielded them, and yes they are victims, but so were their victims. living weapons who some people will never be able to forgive, but who still wake up every day and try to do better than what’s expected of them. a sword that uses its blade to cut wheat to make bread for the people who once lived in fear of its arc falling on their heads.

Tbh with the AI shit - only a matter of time until every place and platform we have will start selling data to them, and good if they deem to even let you know they're going to be doing so, and not just do it behind your back without even telling - in fact, I don't even trust the whole "you can opt out" thing lol, why would I assume it'll even work in the first place, and isn't just there to placate people in hopes everyone won't get TOO mad at them and look better in the public eye?

I think it's more of an annoying reality and nothing else, that will just need to be dealt with, until it either gets regulated, or dies off. I don't think there's gonna be many places left to run to, eventually, unless some safe sanctuary for creators is made that somehow GUARANTEES protection from all of this bs
