Ready Player One Key Cookies
Yields 20-24 cookies
The things you’ll need
Ingredients
6 tablespoons ground captain crunch cereal
1 tablespoon corn meal
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
¾ cup sugar
1 large egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon buter emulsion
Equipment
Large mixing bowl
Medium mixing bowl
Whisk
Hand mixer
Rubber spatula
Rolling pin
Key cookie cutter
Copper, jade, and white royal icing in decorating bags fitted with #2 tips
Let’s get started!
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, mix together ground cereal, corn meal, flour, baking powder and salt.
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg and extracts.
Add half the dry ingredients and mix well. Add the remaining dry ingredients and mix well.
Wrap dough into a disk and chill for 1 hour.
Roll dough out dough to ¼ inch thick and use your key cookie cutter to cut out keys. Place cookies on baking sheet and chill for 10 minutes.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Time to decorate!
Outline each cookie in a different color of royal icing and then let them dry for a few minutes.
Fill in each cookie with the same color as its outline. Let the icing dry completely.
Lightly brush each key with the its matching luster dust color.
TaDa! Get ready to unlock your hunger with these Ready Player One Key cookies!

High School/College AU (which ever you wanna take it) - Reaper76
A/N: Haii, sooo I saw this pic of Gabe and Jack in Pinterest (sorry I can't put the pic here, I have shitty Wi-Fi ( TДT)) and Gabe was kinda snuggling up on Jack and distracting him from his work. If y'all know which pic I'm talking about, then please send the artist my love (ﾉ*>∀<)ﾉ♡
BTW, in regards to whether you take this as a Highschool or College AU, that's up to you. Because from where I live, both have the same education system, the only difference is the level of difficulty, experience and rank. (When I put it like that, it sounds like a game XD)
Enough of that, now onwards with the story! ~\(≧▽≦)/~

In OW Academy, Professor John "Jack" Morrison was waiting for his class to finish answering their tests about World War Z. He roamed around the room to check for any subtle cheaters. In which, for example, is Jesse McCree.
Thankfully, the teenager was fairly quiet. Considering his partner in crime, Genji Shimada, wasn't there to help him. Genji was in another class.
"Gabriel's Class"
His mind helpfully supplied.
Jack sat back down on his desk as he awaits for the last 8 mins before he can call for everyone's papers to be turned in before the bell rings to indicate the end of class.
He checks his watch, then clears his throat to catch his students' attention.
"Alright, everyone who's done, turn your papers in and wait for the bell to ring. Everyone who still isn't done, you still have 6 mins left to finish it.", he said in a very professional tone.
He wasn't the type of teacher to be strict. He actually has some sort of casual-friendly bond with his students. He takes jokes easily and laughs with his students sometimes during discussion. But he's very alert and serious when it comes to tests.
Jack has never liked cheating during tests. He always says to his students, especially to Jesse and Genji, that it's better to fail than to cheat. A test is given so that they'd know how much of the topic you understand. If you cheat on a test, then it's like lying to yourself and pretending to be someone you're not.
He doesn't particularly hate Jesse and Genji for cheating that one time. He's grown fond of the two actually. He treats them like his own little brothers.
(A/N: sorry to interrupt. Jack and Gabe is not that old in this story, sooo he can't say he'll treat them like his sons. Okii continue cx)
Jack reminisces to the time where he caught Gabe and Jesse play fighting in one of the Gym's mats. Gabe was supposed to teach Jesse how to conduct basic self defense, because the kid was absent for a week with the flu. So he had to take overtime classes. Genji was playing on his phone on the lower bleachers, patiently waiting for Jesse to finish.
Jack remembers how careful Gabe was with teaching Jesse how to do a headlock to the attacker properly. Without hurting Jesse but emphasizing how hard the grip should be.
Jack always joked about how Gabe was going soft when it involves Jesse. The Latino man just pushes the Blonde into one of the lockers and told him to 'fuck off, Morrison.'
Jack snapped out of his memory and checked his watch again. He gently clasped his hands together as the bell rings, indicating the end of the class for the day.
"Time's up, everyone. Pass all your papers to me now, please."
He watches as one by one his students hands him their papers and bids them farewell as they exit. The room was nearly empty. Just one more student remains seated.
Jack sighed softly. He stood up and went to Jesse's desk.
"You alright there, sport?", he gently asked the teen.
"Yeah, I'm 'kay. Jus' havin' trouble rememberin' the date when the war ended.", Jesse said as he chews at the end of his pen. Jack just chuckles at him and pats his shoulder softly.
"It's March 6, 2059."
(A/N: please bear with me on the date huehuehue, I couldn't think of a better one)
Both Jack and Jesse turned their heads towards Gabe who's casually leaning on the doorway with his usual smirk.
Jesse beamed as he writes down the given answer.
"Thanks, Jefe!", he exclaims as he hands over his paper to Jack and packed up his stuff. Jesse left after saying farewell to both of his teachers and a ruffle to the head from Gabriel.
Jack rolled his eyes at Gabe as soon as Jesse closed the door. Gabe just laughs softly at his distressed lover.
Jack, having no more patience for Gabe's apparent betrayal, resides back to his desk to check his students' tests. He puts his glasses on and proceeds to check the stack of test papers.
Gabe sets his book bag down beside Jack's desk and takes a seat at one of the chairs in front of Jack. Silently admiring his annoyed lover, his smirk still intact on his sculpted face as he was enjoying the expression Jack has with his glasses on.
Jack notices the gaze Gabriel was giving him and lifts his eyes up to look at his amused boyfriend. Annoyed, he huffs at him and puts the pen down. Jack clasps both of his hands in front of his lips and quirks up an eyebrow at Gabriel questioningly.
Gabe just smiles his pretty innocent smile. Jack just gets more ticked off by this, knowing his boyfriend is finding entertainment in his annoyance.
Jack just glares at him as Gabe continues to smile on. Both just staring at each other for a whole silent minute.
Eventually, Jack sighs a defeat as he picks up his pen again and starts marking up the papers.
Gabe chuckles softly again. He smiles a genuine and fond smile as he continues to watch Jack work.
Jack was halfway through with checking and recording the papers and scores, when Gabe decided he was bored.
Gabe stood up from his seat and went behind Jack's chair. The Indiana man payed him no mind as he was determined to finish his markings already. Gabe noticed this and smiled softly. He gently put both of his hands on Jack's shoulders and started softly knead them.
Jack still payed him no mind. Gabe added some pressure in his massaging and struck at one of the knots that Jack has. Softly kneading it until the tensed muscle forms away and Jack relaxes.
The blonde put his pen down as he let out some soft and happy groans, Gabriel smiling victoriously as his lover slowly turned into mush.
"Don't think this will get you out of some lecturing later. I'm still mad about you just giving the answer to Jesse on his test.", Jack said surprising Gabriel as his tone was sure and evenly strong, despite him feeling so relaxed.
"Wouldn't dream of not having my lesson, Cariño.", The Latino man said as he brings his lips down to Jack's ear.
"We both know I've been a bad boy lately.", he gently purred as he gives a gentle lick to Jack's earlobe.
"That's why I have the perfect punishment for you.", Jack growled softly. Making Gabe shiver from excitement.
