omg omg guys, Fern doesnât wear shoes. (you canât see her feet in the other two illustrations of her, I just noticed this!)
Now I have even more headcanons. Fairies mostly fly all the time anyways, but Fern really is a hover-er. She often goes barefoot, but sometimes that ends up being a problem.
Theyâll be going for a fly together and since she flies everywhere, all day, her wings get tired. Sheâs like, âI really canât fly any more. Aw, I donât want to get my feet dirty, but I didnât wear shoes todayâŠâ Terence will just smile and scuff his boots on the ground and open his arms for her and then carry her the rest of the way.
yessssss I like this too much.
And Iâm so glad we have a barefoot fairy tbh, besides Lily who likes to wiggle her toes in the soil and Queen Ree who likes to go without shoes some days
