Trinity College Library at University of Dublin, Ireland

The Library of Trinity College is the largest research library in Ireland. As a result of its historic standing, Trinity College Library Dublin is a legal deposit library (as per Legal Deposit Libraries Act 2003) for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and has a similar standing in Irish law. The College is therefore legally entitled to a copy of every book published in Great Britain and Ireland and consequently receives over 100,000 new items every year. The Library contains about five million books, including 30,000 current serials and significant collections of manuscripts, maps, and printed music. Three million books are held in the book depository, “Stacks”, in Santry, from which requests are retrieved twice daily. (wikipedia)

I was planning on doing something special and I was super excited but then shipping costs had to go and ruin it and well, here I am.

I’m going to be giving away some books instead! (yay!) I reached a huge follower milestone so let’s celebrate (especially since I’m on a book buying ban myself).

Any time Im able to promote this boom is a good time indeed

I read this book for a class project that was centered around banned books. And I am so glad I picked this book because I absolutely loved it. The more I read about it, the more I love it. Everything about this book was amazing. I loved the characters, the plot, the world, the writing style, and the themes. Everything about this book flowed. It was so creative and I felt so smart reading it, like I was becoming smarter. And now I’m reading all these interviews with Philip Pullman who is so smart and insightful.

This book is clearly a 5 star book. I have already started the sequel, which is just as good. I recommend this book to anyone with an open mind. Also, I am dying to talk to someone about these books. There’s too much to talk about for one post. So feel free to message to me.
