can you elaborate on aegon and visenya being infertile?

on aegon: i believe it would be ironic and extremely fitting if all targaryens descended from rhaenys‘ bastard. on one hand it would make the dance super goofy as well as the whole „wahhhh character x‘s bloodline“ „waaaaahhh character y‘s kids“ from stans look foolish. they all claim to be the legendary conqueror‘s blood when actually none of them are

on visenya: if she could have kids i think she would‘ve just had a bastard earlier instead of creating a shadow baby with aegon. to add, she only had maegor after it seemed like aenys would die. visenya and aegon are often described as being very similar. both carrying valyrian steel swords, training together, similar ways of thinking… (i always think of rhaenys being the optimist, aegon the pessimist and visenya the realist). grrm likes to play with the whole „if youre a rotten, wrong person youre also infertile“ trope. i‘m not gonna hate on visenya cuz i love her but she does make many morally questionable choices (as does aegon). so it would be fitting that these two rotten siblings would also both be unable to have non-magic-fueled kids.

extremely ironic if the only one of the siblings actually able to have kids died, leaving the two rotting from the inside to figure it out after it seems like the heir to the dynasty is dying. it’s just too perfect 😫🤌
