Cute little doodle for April Fools! I wish we got an episode where we went into Kirvac Mound, and came out a tunnel that followed an AU wherein the Kids swapped their favorite Tribes with one another.
I have some silly thoughts, but I thought this would be a fun little concept to share.

Chaotic Mugic Compilation
Back when I first played Chaotic Shadow Warriors, one thing I loved about the Wii version was that it let you cast mugic that wasn't heard in the show. And while I don't have the game anymore, I found some video on YouTube and put them together here.

Portal To Perim Beyon: Kiru City Beyond
After getting into Chaotic again, and reading the Lore for Cardfight Vanguard Overdress, it got me into thinking about what Perim might be like in the future. So, I decided to start posting bios and the like on my ideas in the form of Portal to Perim style bios. If this gets some attention, I’ll post more
In the 100 years since the reign of Maxxor, the Overworld capital has undergone massive changes in both size and population. The Overworlders were always known as trying to keep close relationships with other tribes, but after the war with the M'arrillians, many Overworlders formed long lasting friendships with creatures from other tribes and this led to many outsiders coming to Kiru City for battle training, diplomatic missions, educations and even just to live lives of their own. The integration of other cultures grew more and more until, forty years ago, the then queen of the Overworld decreed to allow any creature of any tribe the ability to come to Kiru City and claim Overworld citizenship. This led to Kiru city becoming a massive hub for immigrants of other tribes. Mipedians, Danians, M’arrillians, and even Underworlders all live within the Overworld capital. The influx of new citizens from around Perim has helped grow Kiru’s prosperity, but some high ranking Overworlders decry the idea of allowing outsiders into their tribe and see the cities non-Overworlder population as a stain on Kiru’s history.
And it’s not just the city’s people that have changed over the years. The physical layout of the capitol has also drastically shifted. Instead of just the one wall that was used to protect the city, Kiru has now been split into three separated sections, each one surrounded by its own mugically reinforced stone wall. The first section of the city acts as the so-called “peoples area”. This is where the majority of Kiru city’s population lives. This area is even more split into several sections to reflect the city’s diversity, with there being different districts primarily populated by Underworlders, Mipedian’s and Danians. Though creatures from other tribes can live outside those areas, these neighborhoods act as places where they  can share and indulge in their culture and the current leader of the Overworld sees them as helping make Kiru into a microcosm of all Perim. This section of the city also contains the famous Kitu City marketplace, where citizens can find food, books, clothing, mugic, and battlegear from all over Perim.
Within the city’s second wall is what’s considered to be “the learning quadrant” and it contains numerous areas of education and knowledge. From the Overworld library and it’s vast collection of books from everywhere, to the Overworld mugic hall, where muges come to study and experiment with their art, to the world famous Intress Academy of Elemental Studies. The academy is one of the jewels of the Overworld capital, boasting highly experienced teachers and trainers from all over Perim. Similarly, the student body is also extremely diverse with Students from all tribes being allowed to attend. Students not only study how to perform elemental attacks, but also how to construct elemental battle gear, create elemental mugic and study locations that have elemental attunement. Attendance there can truly make one into a master of the elements.
The final part of Kiru City is in the dead center. Here is where most of Kiru’s government officials, soldiers, muges, and nobles live. This section houses the palace of the overworld ruler, the barracks, the Overworld arsenal and several other important strategic facilities. The walls of this area of the city are extra thick and heavily guarded at all times, with only recognized personnel being allowed to enter. But don’t think that this means that the inhabitants are indifferent to the rest of the city. In times of war or crisis, the gates to the center of the city are opened so that all the people from the outer two areas can evacuate there, to be protected by nearly indestructible walls and the Overworld’s best soldiers. Even after all these years, the Overworlders still make sure to care for all their people.

Any Kaz from Chaotic headcanons?
Tumblr media
Gets a lot of hate for being an Underworld user. Something I noticed re-watching Chaotic is that Kaz gets a lot of challenge matches. Hercu-Leon, Hot Shot. A lot of players who don't like Underworlders challenge Kaz and it's not uncommon for him to get shit on by players who use other tribes.
He is a really good player, but not AS good as he thinks. Kaz is good as many episodes prove, but he's overconfident in his own skills. And when he let's himself get too high on his abilities, he fails a lot more.
He taught Tom how to play Chaotic. It's how they met, actually. As I mentioned in my Tom headcanons, I don't see Tom as having close friends outside of Kaz, and I could easily picture Kaz seeing this less than social kid and offering to introduce him to the game.
Like Underworlders because he knows what it feels like to have other people look down on you. Kaz was bullied even before talking about Chaotic and he hated how it made him feel. So, he feels kinship with Underworlders who have people LITERALLY looking down on them. It's why he doesn't see them attacking the Overworlders as bad. To him, the Underworlders are the underdogs who are just fighting back after being forced underground by the Overworlders.

Yes to all of these!
Chaotic Headcanons - Tom Majors/MajorTom
Tumblr media
I've really been getting into the Chaotic TV Show/Card game again and after watching most of the episodes, I came up with some headcanons for the show and characters. So, I'm going to start posting some of them here. And I'll start with the Headcanons I have for the main man of the show Tom Majors. I'd love to hear any feedback or other ideas other people have on these. And yes, I'm going to be using the season two are for stuff if I can. I just prefer that art style.
Tom doesn't actually have a lot of friends. Either in the real world or Chaotic. Notice how in the series we almost never really see him hang out with anyone outside his main friend. Tom's always around Kaz, Peyton, and Sarah. When CoolTom seems to be stealing his friends away from him he's pretty much all alone without them. Plus, I think he's the only character who hasn't mentioned or shown having another person in chaotic that they hang out with. Tom's oddly kind of a non-social guy.
Doesn't get along with other Overworld players. From what we see of Chaotic, a lot of Overworld players have what I'd call "Overworlder Supremacy". They not only don't like non-Overworld players but they refuse to use any creatures that aren't Overworlders. They find it to be a disservice to their Overworld cards. Tom got over that in "Silent Sands" and he often butts heads with players who think that way. So, he just doesn't hang out with a lot of Overworld users.
He takes his losses really really hard. He always gets so down on himself when he loses in the show and it's clear that when it happens it really gets to him. Even when he loses to his friends. In his matches with Peyton and Sarah, it's clear that he really hated it and he took the losses personally. Kaz might have been the one to re-battle every opponent he ever lost to, but I think Tom is the one who takes his losses the hardest between the two.
He's got a minor reputation as being a coward. In the show, he's forfeited at least three matches because he realized something was wrong in Perim and went to go help. But since he only explains that to his friends, a lot of players assume he's just a wimp who surrenders when he's losing. That being said, Tom doesn't care. Both because he cares more about what happens in Perim then his reputation in Chaotic and because he'll shut them up by beating them in the dromes.
In terms of raw talent at Chaotic, he's probably the best out of his friends. He's shown early on to have a knack for the game, and while he does get a good few losses, his wins are often the most impressive or creative in the show. Plus, he seems to have a real knack for using unusual cards or strategies. How he used Bodal, how he used Tianne despite not playing Mipedians much, scanning a bunch of stat boosted creatures to beat Hottek. Tom definitely shows that what he lacks in his friends experience in the game, he manages to make up for using quick thinking.

To our main cast, who is your favorite Creature outside of your favorite Tribes? For example, Im an UnderWorld and Mipedian player, but Tangath Toborn is one of my favorite Creatures.
The group takes a moment to talk amongst themselves. They seem to debate for quite a while before coming to something of a conclusion.
Tumblr media
"Gonna go with H’earring. He’s pulled off some crazy wins for me, bro.”
Tumblr media
"I’ll say...Antidaeon. I should’ve scanned the Nemesis while I had the chance!”
Tumblr media
“Maybe...Blugon? But I wish I could’ve seen Iparu in—”
Tumblr media
“Whoa, hold up there, Kazzer.”
Tumblr media
“Ah, right, sorry. Anyways, Tom, what about you? You’ve been getting a bunch of wins as Dardemus!”
Tumblr media
“I dunno. If we’re not talking about Maxxor, Tangath, or even Najarin... Peyton already said H’earring...” Tom seems torn about who to pick!
Tumblr media
“Talk about Loyal.”
Tumblr media
“Hey, come on! You know we’ve met all sorts of Creatures. I need to try Smildon more often, so maybe him?”
Tumblr media
“Yeah, but he’s a Tribeless Creature. You should probably pick one that’s actually from the other tribes.”
Tom sighs, considering it for a moment.
Tumblr media
“Alright, Tianne. I definitely can’t forget him.”

Headcanon: Maxxor's only portrait in his palace is of himself as a child with his dad (when he actually looked like a kid, not just Maxxor but Smaller like they did in Dangers of Diplomacy).
“You have his eyes.”
Maxxor hesitated glancing towards where Tom was examining the portrait hanging on the wall of his personal chambers.
The boy, covered in worrisome scrapes and bruises, was propped in a close by chair that was more than big enough for him. While he knew that visitors in Perim did not bleed, there were suspicious blotches of color blooming in some of the bandages wrapping around his damaged frame.
It was the first time in a while that the King was reminded of the fragility of the children.
“Our eyes change color when ties to the elements get stronger,” the Creature finally replied.
“No, I mean the shape,” the Player mumbled. “And the intensity. You both look like you can see through people.”
“My father did always have an affinity for that, yes,” he smiled. “You need it to be a politician, or a leader.”
“Or smart.”
“True.”
“And what of you? What are your parents like?”
“I look like my mom,” the boy yawned, the effects of the healing Mugic finally kicking in. “It’s the hair. Nose. That stuff. Don’t look like my dad too much.”
“Oh?”
“Yup.” The boy didn’t elaborate, his eyes were closing, and his breathing became more rhythmic.
Maxxor looked on as he drifted, staring at one of the purple blotches around his ward’s eyes. While it was an injury, the color and shape were oddly reminiscent of a Mark given to adventurous youth in his Clan.
In fact, there was a lot of similarities he’d noticed over their time spent together: the angles of his jaw, the way he furrowed his brow when confused, the King was not sure if these were side effects of having been inside the minds of Creatures or whether these were features inherent in the boy.
Whatever the case may have been, it gave him pause.
‘Perhaps in a different life.’ It was all he could do to wonder.

Any inside jokes that the Creatures would do with their kids?
Chaor says ‘yeet’ when he tosses things away and Kaz is the only one around. Kaz loses his damn mind.
Maxxor will just outright parent Tom sometimes.
Sarah and Wamma have too many in-jokes. It’s a constant, ever-growing dialogue of jokes upon joke because they spend so much time together. The longest running one is Sarah’s shampoo smelling like flowers, and there’s no direct Perimian equivalent so Wamma keeps pointing out different flowers and going “it’s you.”
Similarly, Peyton has too many in-jokes, but the most prominent one is calling Mipedians who’re sunbathing “pancakes” due to their tendency to sprawl out and flatten themselves. They don’t quite understand, but know it’s harmless. They really want to try actual pancakes now.

AU prompt: The kids are alright, the adults... not so much.
“They’re all asleep,” Maxxor’s weary voice roused him from his light rest. The green man dropped beside him with a heavy sigh, offering a flask with his uninjured hand. “Here, to help with the pain.”
Chaor grunted, slowly reaching his talons out and taking the brew. The warm bite was refreshing after the acrid healing tonics he’d been forced to drink by the few healers scrambling around the campsites.
“I never thought the world would end like this,” the red behemoth coughed as he glanced around the huddled tents and smoldering campfires. “All of us, together, even them,” he flicked his tail towards the eastern side- towards where the few remaining Players were resting.
“Never thought it would end at all,” the OverWorlder mumbled. “So used to fighting, just thought it would keep going. As much as I wanted peace, I never thought we’d get it.”
Chaor regarded Maxxor carefully; the heavy circles under his eyes, the broken hand, the wads of bandages around his torso and the countless small scars from previous battles having been disturbed. He looked defeated.
It was nothing like how Chaor had imagined it. Normally, this would have been a time to gloat. But he hated it. And he knew that he himself was no better: a broken horn, countless missing scales and spines, and too many wounds to count.
They were both aching.
“I got us into this mess,” Chaor finally rasped.
“No, you found the Cothica,” Maxxor rebutted. “That fight was your fault, but this? No, that’s them.”
The behemoth growled, taking another swig from the flask to drown the taste of bile in his mouth at the thought of the enemy.
“Damn Mugicians.”
Maxxor grunted, motioning for the flask himself, of which he took a small sip. “Guess that’s what happens when they’ve had enough.”
“Armageddon?”
“Yes.”
“I can’t believe they trapped the Humans here.”
The green man’s face soured, he’d been trying to not think of that.
“You already gave your blood to him, didn’t you?”
“As if you haven’t done the same.”
“Aye.”
They lapsed into silence, staring at the scattered masses and the guards milling about the tents. Some were shifting watch, others simply walking, praying, hoping against all that their brethren would survive the long night ahead of them.
“How do we rebuild?” Chaor stared into the crowd, eyes picking out his people, knowing the other was doing the same.
“We’ll find a way. We’ll master this old arcana,” Maxxor snapped his fingers and a flame whispered at the tips of his fingers, sizzling with the colors and voices of the Mugic long lost to the world, before the Tribes needed Mugicians, when one’s inner call was enough to shape their destiny.
“We’ll be back to fighting in no time,” the red king snorted with a tiny smirk.
His rival grinned, “I really hope not.”
