Nick continues to walk through the loft and whispers, Lisa? Lisa comes out of Nick's bedroom and yells out, Nick? Nick looks up to Lisa who is on the second level of the loft. Nick still vamped out tells Lisa, Don't be scared, Lisa.

Nick yells, Lisa! We need help. Someone's trying to break in. Nick still blind walks toward a table with the phone on it and bumps into it. Nick knocks the phone receiver off its cradle and picks it up. He puts the receiver up to his ear and there is no dial tone. The phone line has been cut.

Outside Nick's loft, the thugs are climbing ladders to get inside. Nick still blind but using his vampire senses can hear the criminals outside. The criminals climb the stairs outside to the roof as Nick continues to hear them.

Schanke says, Ah, but... How would you know, right? Mr. Cooper answers, I thought Carmella could handle her. Schanke says, You are missing out on the best years, believe me. I got a daughter. I do know.

Schanke says, So, uh, when you're...away... working every other month, what else does Lisa do? Ah, but...

As Lisa continues to cry in Nick's bedroom, Nick screams out, Lisa, where are you? Nick rubs his eyes but vamped out as he is still blind. The thugs outside continue to climb the building to get inside. Nick says, Lisa...I'm sorry, Lisa. Lisa is still crying in Nick's bedroom.

Schanke says, You know, I--I know this is, uh... none of my business, Mr. Cooper, but that is not good stuff to be teaching your kid. Mr. Cooper answers, Sorry, uh... Cards was just something me and Lisa could do together. Schanke says, Yeah, yeah, yeah, I understand.

Back at the 27th Precinct, Schanke has a conversation with Lisa's dad. Schanke says, She's, uh... She's a live wire, your Lisa. Did you know she plays poker? Mr. Cooper answer, Sure, I taught her. You didn't, uh... Schanke answers, Oh yeah, I did. Twenty-three bucks she clipped me for.

Back in the present, Nick is in the bathroom and still blind. He can hear the commotions outside the loft. Nick races out of the bathroom screaming, Lisa! Lisa, where are you? Lisa is crying upstairs in Nick's bedroom and doesn't answer.

Flashback: London, England, 1941 during World War II

A shocked Nicholas looks over to Janette as LaCroix walks into the room. LaCroix has a proud look on his face for bringing Daniel over. Nicholas looks over to a smiling and showing fangs Daniel. Hearing LaCroix laughing.

Flashback: London, England, 1941 during World War II

As Nicholas places the toy fire truck on the fireplace mantle and turns around to speak with LaCroix. Nicholas says, Really. Nicholas met with a growl and shocked look on his face, as he realizes its Daniel, vamped out. Daniel greets Nicholas, Hello, Nicky! Welcome home.

Flashback: London, England, 1941 during World War II

Nicholas returns home and is greeted with a kiss by Janette. Nicholas asks, Where's LaCroix? Janette walks away from Nicholas as the toy fire truck comes rolling to Nicholas' feet. Nicholas picks up the toy and walks toward the fireplace to put it away and says, Toys at your age, LaCroix.

As the sun continues to rise in the Toronto sky, the criminal thugs begin to raise ladders against Nick's building so they can break in. In the bathroom, Nick still blind begins to have memories of the past.

Lisa begins to knock on the bathroom door and saying, Nick, open the door, please? Nick stumbles from the bathroom sink to the floor yanking off a towel on the way down. Nick is still in pain and screams, I'm blind! I'm blind. Scared Lisa runs upstairs to Nick's bedroom and begins to cry on the bed.

Nick runs into the bathroom and closes the door. He is groaning in excruciating pain. Lisa comes up to the almost closed door and says, I didn't mean to hurt you. Nick is moaning in pain behind the door and clenching his eyes. Lisa continues from outside the bathroom, I screwed up! All right? I'm sorry. Nick stumbles around the bathroom still in pain. He tries to run water over his burned face.

Lisa startled by Nick's screams says, Sorry, Nick. I didn't mean to. Nick gets up from the couch and stumbles to the kitchen. He screams, The light! Close the blinds! Nick snarls then vamps out without Lisa seeing him. Lisa yells, I was only playing. Are you okay? Nick runs towards the bathroom as Lisa continues to yell, How was I to know? Do you need any help?
