Iiiiinteresting question. Idk I feel there’s a lot more that can be done with his character and it’s a shame Charlie didn’t get to do much in this season. I did noooot like him in the first season because of the photo situation. I also don’t like Jancy that much however, the fact they’re together in real life is cayooot but Nancy and Steve should’ve stayed together. I used to believe Jonathan was a duffer bros self insert - geeky guy who steals the hot girl from the hottest guy in school. But now, I don’t feel that comes across as much in these newer seasons. I also don’t think stancy should get back together and they should keep Jonathan and Nancy together and I’m not sure where they’re gonna go with this whole love triangle storyline they’ve created.
