Sunday spring (?) date with a friend
We went to Café Olimpico, a café opened since 1970, which was so crowded that we ended up eating on a bench outside. Then, we visited the Mordecai-Richler public library, an old church turned into a library, and finally, we ended up at Limoo, a juice and tea house on Parc avenue (pictures on Instagram).

Sharing this here too because people still steal my pictures and use them in horrible ways, or just claim they are theirs. Bonus points for people who use my face as their profile picture (yes, it happens often). Just don't. I am a human.
I just saw someone take one of my kissa pictures, slam a filter over it, and claim it was theirs. Obviously, I blocked them, but just don't do that? I have enough of my main blog pictures being stolen and used in awful ways, and I sadly got used to it, but at least, those pictures are OF me, so I keep hope some people will recognise me and call out the person. But with pictures I take (without my face), it's harder to recognise them. Please don't make me regret (again) sharing stuff with the public. I already have enough to deal with AI, don't be as shitty.

its official: tumblr is selling our data to Midjourney
we'd been hearing rumors about this for a bit but now its open and out there. some details from this article
it goes without saying, but if @staff goes through with this its going to be an utter shitshow and im all but certain the website will not survive it.

Last weekend, @apple-salad invited me to her amazing Rococo Bouquet afternoon tea. Victorian Maiden released many versions and cuts of their Rococo Bouquet series over the years, and I own the Bustle Long Skirt (2011 edition) and the Mermaid skirt (2007 edition), both in blue flowers.
@apple-salad did an incredible job at hosting and preparing everything on the menu (she even handmade the bread for her sandwiches and the clotted cream, on top of the scones and cake). Thank you again for all the hard work!

People unearthing all my 2009-2010 posts is really the proof old school is the most popular style right now...
Dear Audrey, I like you.
