Summary: Prompt fill for @fandomtrumpshate: “The team needs to raise money, so they decide to do the most stereotypical things (e.g. a bake sale/car wash) but they all go horribly wrong.” OR: Five times SMH tried to raise money to replace the Haus roof and how it got Jack and Bitty together. An alternate end to Year Two.

Fic: Knight of Wands

Steve has reigned as king for ten years, and in a few days peace will finally come to his kingdom. Representatives of the Kree Empire are soon to arrive for the negotiations that will end the war between them once and for all. Steve is looking forward to settling down, with his hand-picked Avengers at his side – led, of course, by the masked knight Iron Man – and also his trusted advisors, the most beloved of whom is Tony, his court magician, the most powerful mage in all the land.

But when Steve’s life is endangered, Tony makes the greatest sacrifice of all to protect his king, a sacrifice far greater than his life. And when Tony disappears under mysterious circumstances, Steve learns that even his closest friends keep secrets that he could never have suspected.

A (very late) 2017 @fandomtrumpshate fic for @lasenbyphoenix! I really enjoyed writing it. It was a lot of fun to return to characters that I hadn’t written in a while.

Fandom: Check, Please! Pairing: Gen - Original Samwell Squad with a minimal Frog cameos Rating: G Word Count: 7328 Summary: There are a lot of reasons to celebrate: Jack’s Stanley Cup win, Bitty’s new captaincy, and Lardo, Holster, and Ransom’s graduation. The original Samwell gang decide to reunite on a trip to Disney World.

Spoiler alert: They never get there.

Instead, there’s squished hotel rooms, late-night air hockey, and one random, traveling French Press. It’s six best friends on the cusp of adulthood who never end up where they plan on going, but instead find themselves exactly where they need to be.

No Place Like Home (FTH 2017)

Written for @squirenonny as part of @fandomtrumpshate 2017! Just a little Kallurance fluff where Keith and Allura help Lance deal with some homesickness.

“What do you see out there?”

“Hm?” Lance looked over at her, jarred from the peaceful quiet that had settled over them. “What do you mean?”

Allura frowned. “You look unhappy.”

“I’m just relaxed.”

She examined his expression, her own disbelieving while she tried to determine exactly what he wasn’t saying. “If you want to do something else, you can just say so.”

“No, no!” He sat up, gesturing to the wide window overhead. “I like stargazing.”

“I know you do, but right now, you seem unhappy.” She stared him down. “Is something wrong?”

He hesitated for just a brief moment. “No.” But the pause was long enough to set off warning alarms in her mind.

She sat up beside him. “What is it?”

“Nothing.”

“I don’t believe you.”

“Well, you should.” He flopped back onto the large cushions they used to stare up at the stars. “Cause it’s the truth.”

“Lance,” she began in her most commanding tone.

But, he cut her off with a smile. “Nothing’s wrong. Now, come on. It’s cold down here. Lay down.”

“Only if you promise to tell me the truth.”

He reached out a hand and did his best to sound sincere. “I promise I’m fine.”

She huffed out a breath and laid next to him, one arm curling around his waist. “I still don’t believe you,” she muttered.

He kissed her temple, soft and loving. “Well, I’ll just have to convince you.”
