American Artist Mary Coble born 1978.
Untitled 2 (from Note to Self) was mad with inkjet print in 2005.
She had the first names of 438 lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender victims of hate-crime murders all over her body without ink.
She also has a ink tattoo, a rainbow-hued chain of figures symbolizing a diverse community.
The artist’s found out that anti-gay words were carved into some of the victims’ skin. She also discovered that there is not a lot of information on hatecrime statistics, since individual states are not required to report hate-crime deaths.

Ana Mendieta is a Cuban artist.
Ana was good at blending photography, body art, earth art, and performance art. She used her skills to express her feminism.
Mendieta drew her silhouette using materials such as crushed flowers, sculpted mud, or ignited gunpowder. She would take pictures or video tape them.
She also carved fertility figures into the beaches, caves and cliffs in Cuba. Ana called them, Rupestrian Sculptures. The Untitled (Guanaroca [First Woman]),is made of Gelatin silver Photograph. It was named after a indigenous goddess. Her work represents ancient traditions of goddess worship presence and identity.
