Ötzi the Iceman
Ötzi, an ancient mummified human body [man aged 25 to 35, about 1.6 m (5 feet 2 inches) tall and about 50 kg], found preserved by the Similaun Glacier, the Tirolean Ötztal Alps, on the Italian-Austrian border, on September 19, 1991.

Latest museum restoration: Galleria Giorgio Franchetti, Ca’ d'Oro (best 15th c surviving Venetian Gothic palazzo), Venezia 2023. The palace was built between 1428 and 1430 for the Contarini (Doges) family by the architects Giovanni Bon and his son Bartolomeo.
The polychrome marble mosaic pavement of the "portego" was designed by Baron Giorgio Franchetti (1865–1922) who supervised much of 1890s restoration.

Rare Neolithic marble statuette from Çatalhöyük, UNESCO world heritage site.
Archaeologist Ian Hodder, leader of the 2016 Stanford excavation team that found the artifact, believes that, even though a ritual object, the figurine represents an older woman of high social status!
The craftsmanship of anatomical details and pragmatic knowledge of the human body leave no room for representational mistakes.
The 1 kgr figurine, wrought from recrystallized limestone between 6300 and 6000 B.C., is a very rare find.

The quality of Base Ring Ware deteriorated in the Late Cypriot II period but new shapes were introduced, especially vessels in the form of animals, of which the bull was most common. - The MET
