I had some more ideas for this drawing, but at the end of January my drawing hand got injured! Talk about bad timing! When it got injured though, I had already done most of the lineart and most of the coloring could be done by selecting so I could still finish the picture.
A significant portion of this image was made with my offhand! I'm still pretty happy with the results. 3 different backgrounds because I couldn't really pick, haha.

Universe is against me- I overused my wrist in January and it needs a longer time than the contest deadline to heal.

Genderswap AU because it's funny lol
Matt / Mattison. Still goes by Matt XD Name thought up by @verm1c1de. BARELY CHANGES AT ALL.
Natalie / Nathan. Name idea from @fulltidalwavecomputer! One rule of genderswapping is as gendered the character is, go that far in the opposite direction. So, Nathan doesn't have a shirt. We have to be fair here!
Anna / Alex. Full name is Alexander, and often goes by several different nicknames such as Lexy. Kind of small looking, frequently compares self to Nathan to mirror Natz and Anna.
Lance / Lacey. One of Lances main character traits is that hes ??? sexist ??? So Lacey is/was a misandrist advocating for the eradication of all men. Still kidnapped Nathan in this timeline for reverse similar reasons to EBF5 Lance kidnapping Natalie! It's okay though she improves XD Again, supposed to mirror Lance lol.

Epic Battle Fantasy Genderswap AU
I've made an art tag of my drawings of this AU but I've never just made a post explaining it so here it isssss.
Matt/Matt - but now it's Mattison instead of Mattias lol. Pretty much the same person as normal Matt, hence why the name barely changed. NOW instead of a MALE anime swordsman in hobo pirate clothes, you have a FEMALE anime swordsman in hobo pirate clothes! Still has long hair and is still stupid.
Natalie/Nathan - My rule when genderswapping characters is that "as gendered as a character is, gender them that much but in the opposite direction". Thusly, Nathan is tall and super ripped. His clothes rarely cover his chest.
Different from Natalie, though, he's pretty shy! As a super tall dude he doesn't want to come off as aggressive and scare people off, which is in total contrast to Natalie who's super mean so that people take her seriously.
Anna/Alex - He wants to be a strong, buff, tall man like Nathan but he's actually kind of a twink who's really cute like an anime boy. He's also definitely not gay. Looks harmless, but isn't. So, basically just Anna, but genderswapped.
Lance/Lacey - Lacey is a misandrist and hates men. She's the boogeyman that "Anti-SJW's" feared in their nightmares, she really does want to kill all men and has made strong efforts to do so. She hates Nathan but slowly learns to tolerate him from being on a team with him. Alex is pretty harmless but she also doesn't like him.

(in reference to my tags on the first post)
yeah yeah he destroyed their village! + There's him in BH2 that also is very villainous! I just wanted to stress that his crimes are like, environmental destruction, kidnapping, and killing NPCs who are literally referred to as video game characters in universe. Racism is never mentioned, and pretty much most actual dangerous parts of the in real life ideology are never mentioned either.
I don't blame anyone for being uncomfortable with the games or character, I definitely have some criticisms myself, but I wanted to clarify that because due to the out of context appearance on the blog people are making assumptions about him being a main character in that uniform meaning that the games support nazi ideology. He is the bad guy, his views are very clearly within the game not supported and constantly made fun of or judged harshly by other main characters.

#quo rambles#I wrote a longer rant and deleted it#basically in the games he's not actively repeating ideology and is either a villain or made fun of by the other characters#and the old games were just Old Newgrounds Crap#and the new games he's just very made fun of and the worst things he does are being a pervert and like. potential NPC murder#but random people who don't know this guy#will just see CHARACTER IN A FUCKING UNIFORM#and automatically assume the worst#and ngl I'm also uncomfortable with it but it's really not as bad as it looks#I am just veeeery annoyed that this will be like the most EBF on tumblr coverage
