Anyway, to sum up the time line till this point.

Somewhere around his thirty, theres a regular guest who started to visit him alot. If you have been following silvercdeer vampire au, you may know him as padre vicente. But if you dont, all you need to know is he also a villain in this au, and hes a charming but manipulative power hungry bastard. So he earn Bruno trust, and they form a deep friendship (to Bruno at least, who latch on the first person who isnt an asshole to him and seem so nice and understanding, its more complicated and mostly using to Vicente) Overtime, he started to get the idea of escaping, start to yearn for freedom. So, the tension rise between Alma and Bruno as he started act more rebellious under Vicente influence, and when this tension explode, he clawed his eyes out to make sure no one can use it anymore.

But fate has other plan, and as soon after, his power started melting sand to make him a new eye, replace the one is lost to him. Vicente show up in the middle of this, planning to leave him be as Bruno has no use to him blind, but seeing how the new glass eye is made. He firmly believe that Bruno is made to serve him, as the magic make sure that his eyes are there. He barge in, use a axe and carry hiim out of the tower.

Vicente feeding him lie, telling him that he must take back control and finding the strength that was denied to him, and Bruno who has been alone and helpless all his life sucks this up.

He burn his rope, shed his white outfit to black to match his new friend, and get himself a light weight ruana with the inner side a dark red. Crack around his glass eyes, like the ones that plague Casita. A cane, gift from Vicente, to help him with his malnourished leg from years of immobile. he cut his hair to waist length, were all the braid he desire, no heavy weight of rope and hair to put him down, no chain to imprison him , he is a free man. what he plan to do with that freedom remain to be seen
