Dolores: I’m a moderate, peaceful woman.
Mirabel: Five minutes ago, you threw a chair at my sisters.
Dolores: That was a moderate, peaceful compromise from the table I was going to have Mariano throw at them.

I had a dream last night.
I don't know, if it was AU or something, or what was the context of that scene... but I remembered that :
Isabela, Mirabel and Antonio asleep, cuddling together. No context. Just two sisters and their baby cousin snuggling
WHO NEEDS CONTEXT❓❗ NOT ME❗❗
Idk bout you but i'm rocking wit this. My favorite kinds of tings 🤠 i also have random dreams about stuff with no context. Sometimes of preexisting aus, sometimes its something that has nothing to do with anything 😭
Dunno what I was going for but. Who cares i still like them.

Too fast
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yoooo guess what i found just chilling in my computer since april?
I made this because i headcanon due to Julieta's demanding work, she's so busy to the point she didn't see her daughters that much and since they are not young children anymore they don't spend that much as they did when they were young and the 3 girls also have their own stuff in their lives to deal with.
I'm not saying that Julieta is a bad mom, it's just common for family members to grow apart as they get older but that doesn't mean they stop loving and caring for each other. Julieta is an awsome mom.

Yes. There will be another comic continuing this and explaining what happend. When will it come? Idk. The only thing you have know that Mirabel is distantcing herself from her mother because of someone. Who is it? We'll found out in the next comic.
Hey, can i squeeze this big story in a 10 page comic and have it be done in just 2 days? Yeah apperently.

I know it is canon that Pedro died back then.
But even after watching Encanto the first time I found it noticeable that we never really see what ultimately happens to him.
Yes, we see him walking up to those soldiers but then we immediately see Alma do her light show and then the hills grow and cut her off from the river and she looks at that closing gap almost like she hopes to see him.
Now, imagine!
Imagine a Pedro, hurt, almost dead, but surviving, somehow escaping their pursuers through his own kinda miracle.
Imagine his recovery being long and hard, not quite knowing what happened but knowing that the path is gone, and knowing that his Alma would have come looking for him if she was still alive.
So they must be dead.
Imagine him growing old and mourning his family, going to that river every year to pay his respect.
Imagine him 50 years after that fateful night, going back to that river and there is the path again, a gap in the hills.
Imagine him walking into the valley, finding a beautiful little village, a kind of place his Alma and him have always dreamed of finding after their escape.
Imagine him meeting people and them telling him about a magical family that lives there.
Familia Madrigal.
Imagine him hobbling up to that house, his walking stick in his hand, sweat on his brow, heart racing.
Imagine him reach that house and seeing...
Them.

Part 2 of Runaway Mama Mirabel AU
• After not finding Mirabel for a week, the kids from the town had been placing flowers to a home honoring her.
• Antonio, one of the kids, was crying as well as many for not being able to see Mirabel.
• They all miss their Mama, and what’s worst was that all of the children were blaming the Madrigal family.
• At first, it started out with just ignoring the Madrigals. With Antonio on their side, of course.
• However, one day turned to one week which quickly escalated to one month now up to three months.
• Antonio, despite his age, has been ignoring the Madrigals and would even disobeyed them, especially Alma.
• One time, Alma talked very poorly about Mirabel, accidently, and when she asked Antonio something, he straight up ignores her and leaves.
• Another time, Isabela angrily shouted that Mirabel was an attention seeker because she couldn’t get something from the town. That caused Antonio to “cry,” and everyone stared at Isabela like she was a monster.
• Basically, Antonio would ignore each members, yes that means Pepa as well as Felix, except maybe Luisa.
• Luisa, though still ban in some areas, is very liked for some because she’s someone that Mirabel would forgive the most, if she ever comes back.
• Often, he and her would spend the day together trying to find Mirabel but no avail in the end.
• The children, most of them, would feel uneasy since she was strong. However, as time passed, they realized that she’s a gentle as water.
• Depending if Luisa wasn’t busy with something, she would always be with some children and go to the house with yarn instead.
• Why you may ask?
• Luisa had always known that Mirabel likes to sew. So, she thinks that if her youngest sister ever needs something, she can have yarn as a back up plan.
• Funny enough, it’s those same yarn she brings each time they all disappeared.
• Of course, Luisa thinks it’s her because why not?
• She tells Antonio, but they swear to keep it a secret until then, trying to only confirm if it’s actually Mirabel.
• After that, things from the house disappear more and more.
• All of the children, including Luisa, can only hope that Mirabel comes back when she’s ready.
That’s all for Runaway Mama Mirabel AU. I’ll see you soon for part 3.

HEADCANON: Due to the lack of a gift, Mirabel has a lot of free time compared to her family members, so it enables her to observe the other Madrigals and actually notice some things. And she notices, for example, that her mama’s often tired and overworked. And little Mirabel knows her ways, and she knows that asking Julieta for cuddles always works, so she does just that. Every time Julieta seems tired, Mirabel offers to cuddle with her and Julieta can’t say no. They end up snuggling on the sofa or on a bed, and it continues through the years, even during Mirabel’s “teenage rebellion”.

In the Mama Mirabel Au can you ever see Antonio calling her Mama just naturally without thinking? and how do you think she'd react?
Oh absolutely! Best part? It's his first word, and it's directed towards her.
This can actually tie into the last ask, and it's the first of many heartbreaks for La Familia Madrigal.
It's dinner time in the home for the Madrigals and everyone's seated and enjoying Julieta's delicious cuisine. Small talk is exchanged at the table, with people telling each other a little about their day, besides the two youngest Madrigals of course.
Mirabel is seated next to Luisa on her left and Antonio on her right, up in his high chair being spoon-fed by her Tio Felix who was speaking with his wife.
"I'm just worried, Felix!", Pepa suddenly exclaimed, a cloud beginning to form over her head. "What, I'm not allowed to be worried?"
"Of course you are, mi amor. I just don't want you to worry yourself too much," Felix responded.
"What's going on," Julieta asked. "Is everything alright?"
"Es que yo no se hermana! Antonio ya va complir un año, y no dicho una palabra! Not even 'mama' or 'dada'! Nothing! What if something's wrong and we don't know?" Pepa replied frettingly, the cloud over her head slowly turning grey with her worry.
"Pepa, your cloud. Get rid of it before it rains on us," Abuela scolded.
Pepa flinched slightly and frowned some more, her hand already running through her hair. "Sorry, mama." She closed her eyes and took deep breaths muttering "Clear skies, clear skies" under her breath until the cloud retreated...mostly.
Julieta smiled warmly at her sister, reassurance in her expression. "I'm sure he's fine Pepa, some babies take a little while. I'm sure he'll be talking soon."
Here Augustín chimed in, smiling at Pepa teasingly. "Yeah, and once he starts talking I'm sure he's not gonna stop. Remember Camilo and Maribel? Oh, those two," he chuckled. "Once they started they never stopped, so enjoy it while it lasts."
Pepa relaxed at that and laughed at the indignant exclamations from the two mentioned, one annoyed, the other laughing, both embarrassed. Antonio looked away from his father at the sound of Mirabel's voice. Seeing her laugh caused him to smile and start laughing too. Everyone smiled at his little giggles and Mirabel started making funny faces at him, causing him to laugh harder.
The next moment, however, will leave a small scar on the family and an even bigger one on the house. Antonio looked at Mirabel, a grin on his face and arms stretched towards her, and said, "Mama!"
The entire family stilled and looked at him, shocked faces plastered on, no one knowing how to react. On one hand, Antonio finally said his first word! On the other hand, he said to Mirabel.
Mirabel sat there frozen, happy and anxious at the same time. Happy that he said his first word. Happy that he said to her. Happy that's what he thought of her after everything she's done for him--. Anxious that he said it to her. Anxious over her family's reaction, her Tia's reaction.
After a few moments of silence and Mirabel not reaching for him, he put his hands down before reaching out to her again, a small frown on his face in worry. He made a few grunts and made a grabbing motion to her. After no response still, he did the same motions, tears slowly welling in his eyes, and asked, "Mama?"
Suddenly thunder boomed, everyone jumping in shock and some even letting out small shrieks in fright. Antonio whipped his head to Pepa and saw her shocked and slightly angry expression, being rained on by her now-dark-grey cloud. The cloud released small lightning strikes and another boom, terrifying Antonio. And he reacted like any other babe in his spot would: he cried in fright.
He turned back around to Mirabel, reaching out for her crying with a scared look on his face. This was enough for Mirabel to snap out of her stupor and spring into action. She reached forward and grabbed Antonio, lifting him out of his chair, and began to rock him. She took a step back from the table and her Tia to further comfort him (and herself).
Antonio buried himself in Mirabel's chest crying, and the action angered Pepa further, the cloud letting out another large boom. She took a step forward and Maribel took a step back. Mirabel looked at her Tia's angry face, her Tio's bewildered one, and looked at everyone else's reaction. Luisa, Camilo, Julieta, and Augustín all looked at her with shocked and confused expressions. Abuela and Isabella were glaring at her in annoyance, Isabella a little confused too. And Dolores looked at her in understanding, after all, she hears and knows all.
Pepa took another step forward and Mirabel again another step back, Antonio still crying in her chest. Mirabel looked towards the exit and back at the family. "I'm gonna take Antonio back to the nursery and help calm him down," she said nervously and then ran off, ignoring the loud protests from her Tio and Tia and the calls of her name from the rest, once again being helped by Casita in her escape and holding the family back.
