To kick off New Year’s Eve, Autumn cooked a nice breakfast for the two of them, and Summer joined her by the fire to enjoy the food. Autumn talked at length about her goals for her garden over the next year, and Summer just admired her friend’s adorable enthusiasm, but in like, a gay way.

Who doesn’t love reading pretentious books that offer poor critique of supposedly horrible political theories, all while they’re sitting out in the freezing cold? 

The end of the night, after Autumn has finished with her gardening, she sits by the fire and chats up a storm with Summer. Perhaps a bit strangely, this is always Summer’s favorite part of the day.

Often, while Autumn is in her greenhouse butchering her poor flowers, Summer is left to keep herself company inside. Her winter hobbies include working on her writing and keeping warm by the fire because somebody doesn’t want to install an actual heating unit.

Autumn is renowned for her two green thumbs; she could bring any plant back from the brink of death, no sweat. Her flower arranging skills, on the other hand, well… At least she grows all the plants herself.

After an unfortunate falling-out, Summer left her roommates and took up residence with a botanist on the other side of Willow Creek. Over the year that they’d been living together, the girls had grown close in the best and most boring ways. Hopefully, that doesn’t like… change, or anything.
