(sorry about the rant, I just need to say this somewhere)
Sometimes Iâm really jealous of people who have had a positive college/university experience. Just had a class where about 80% of class time was allocated to checking homework (which, btw, consisted of short-answer revision questions only, not like there was anything requiring in-depth discussion).Â
And then there was a classic speech on the importance of attendance (god forbid you actually value your time).
Whatâs sad about all of this is that I actually love studying, I read a lot, and I enjoy writing. I just hate the way itâs all organised here.
#oh and there's a lot of stigma against dropping out or transferring colleges etc in my country#everyone's like 'oh ok if you wanna be unemployed forever that's fine'#or another popular response is 'but hey quitting something you hate and doing sth you like would mean quote unquote wasting several years#okay rant done#apologies again#txtpost
