Congrats to these two on their third baby and first son!
It’s great that we idolize male celebrities (and men in general) for how well they love their women; we need to show women and girls what they’re worthy of. But can we also start doing the reverse, idolizing female celebrities (and women in general) for how well they love their men? Men and boys need to be shown what they’re worthy of too.

Here’s a cute example of a wedding not being treated as just “the bride’s day.”
A wedding isn’t just “the bride’s day.” Like a wise Redditor said, it’s not a quinceañera or a bat mitzvah. It’s as much the groom’s day as it is the bride’s and he deserves to be involved in the planning and be made to feel special too.

It honestly rubs me the wrong way seeing so many viral posts about men doing cute things for women/how men should treat women in relationships but almost never the reverse. Of course it’s important to show women what they’re worthy of but men need to be shown what they’re worthy of too. I want to see more viral posts about women doing cute things for men and how women should treat men in relationships (like this one).

If you're an adult...
You are allowed to read comic books. You are allowed to write fanfiction. You are allowed to play video games. You are allowed to collect stuffed animals, dolls, Funko Pops and whatever else. You are allowed to go to cons. You are allowed to cosplay. You are allowed to have a comfort show, even if it's not popular, or hasn't been "on the air" for decades. You are allowed to have anime crushes. You are allowed to have fun. You are allowed to pursue hobbies, even if you can't monetize them or turn them into a career or a "side hustle." You are allowed to take time out for yourself; that's not the same as totally neglecting all your responsibilities to their detriment. You are allowed to write your own life script, instead of following the one your parents and culture mapped out for you at birth. You are allowed to decide you don't want to have children, or don't want to get married. (Or that you'd like to do those things someday, but not today.) You are allowed to go at your own pace, on your own path. You're allowed to have a life that's not all bills and back pain, fatigue and drudgery. You are allowed to play, as well as work.

Saw this question on Reddit and the responses were (unfortunately unsurprisingly) very tragic:

“Not all men but it’s always a man.”
Time to debunk feminists’ latest favorite saying. First of all, this saying implies that female abusers don’t exist which they absolutely do (I would know as I’m the victim of one). If a woman abuses another woman or girl, no man is involved which makes this saying false. And men and boys who were abused by women aren’t actually the perpetrator because of their gender. Similarly, this saying implies that men and boys who were abused by men are just as bad as their abuser because of their gender. This saying is bullshit and needs to go, we can and should condemn abuse regardless of who commits it and without condemning an entire gender.

I love posting art of guys getting affection but actual pictures are even better 🥰 The fact that this picture was likely taken in the ‘60s/‘70s makes it even better.

Can people stop associating misogyny with gay men? Saying that all men who hate women just want to fuck men implies that gay men are misogynists and therefore being a gay man is bad. If someone were to say that misandrists must just be lesbians, feminists would respond asking what’s wrong with that. This isn’t any different from saying that every homophobe must just be a closeted homosexual.

Seeing this exchange on Reddit was so sad. Men and boys need love and affection as much as women and girls.
