An excerpt from the trial of Elinor Crane, who was arrested in Middlesex in 1693 on suspicion of burglary. A witness claimed one of the burglars was a woman in men's clothing, and Elinor had previously been seen in the area dressed as a man.

and aelwyn desperately throwing spells in, hoping something sticks, trying to find a way to help them. god

another Adaine post because I'm on an Adaine kick. It's so fricken poetic that she managed to stop Baron from the Baronies with Psychic Lance. In the beginning of the episode Baron talks about their stark father and how he wants to pick their names so they can't hurt the bad kids anymore, whatever that means. Baron mentions that his Stark Father, the Nightmare King, does not want to be perceived or named. Baron hisses at Kristen the moment she mentions Cassandra as she named them and it's what sets him off. Psychic Lance requires the caster to know the target's name to incapacitate them and Adaine uses Baron's name to incapacitate them

brennan 'homeschooled' mulligan heard that student government is just a thing that looks good for college applications and assumed that Riz will jump on it after the mom convo bout college troubles, unaware of how much it is a glorified popularity contest that low charisma pc would never attempt

University has consistently destroyed my will to do anything other than sleep so I haven't posted in a couple months but now I'm back (for how long, no one knows)
Junior Year refuses to leave my brain so I thought I'd get back into drawing with Adaine, the bestest of Elven Oracles.

I don't usually pick favorite episodes, but Baron's Game might be my absolute favorite cause it has everything you'd want in a Halloween Episode, within a Christmas Episode....that takes place during MARCH.
We have WEREWOLF, we have VAMPIRE, We have GHOST, we have MONSTER MADE OF CORPSE MEAT, we have the GETTING POSESSED BY A SPURNED ROMANCE PARTNER

Like I have tried, I used to have this friend who was determined to get me to try different game systems, it was always stuff like Shadowrun, Cyberpunk, Vampire: The Masquerade, Fallout, Star Wars, but I never took to them as easily as I did D&D. I always felt like I was in a setting that I didn't know the rules of, it was hard to get immersed and I felt like I was at a disadvantage to the other players as a result.
You will never convince me D&D isn’t a good or fun game sorry, like if you can’t have fun playing D&D then my response is genuinely skill issue

God I should stop going on twitter I'm so tired of the discourse. Like do I like D&D? Yes. Do I think it's the most fun when you stop worrying about the rules and make up whatever you need to in the moment? Also yes. Does that mean I should just play a different game? Idk man but I don't really want to
You will never convince me D&D isn’t a good or fun game sorry, like if you can’t have fun playing D&D then my response is genuinely skill issue

God there's something about Gorgug using his rage to break free from mind control
It's like his pulse starts to pound and he can focus on the rhythm of his body and it grounds him and helps him wrench back control
The way berserkers are usually supposed to just completely lose themselves in battle, like the feat is literally called Mindless Rage, but Gorgug has practiced and honed his rage into the exact opposite, it's like he just narrows his focus down to a razor's edge and experiences a moment of pure clarity free from any outside influence
Zac literally tricking Brennan into having Zara command Gorgug to rage so that he couldn't back out and be like "no you can't do that" is so fucking brilliant lmfao
