I saw this tiktok of Lilith and it’s based on theories tht Eve is the one behind it all and just….okay, i really dont want Lilith to be an actual villain or a villain we’re supposed to hate like Adam.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s understandable if Lilith goes down a “darker” path or is shown to be morally gray bc she’s just as prideful too (and not a quitter) but idk, i really dont want her to be the “ult villain” if tht makes sense. I like the theory tht the reason Lucifer and Lilith split up is bc Lilith hasn’t given up and is playing the long game meanwhile Lucifer gave up and is wallowing.

Anyways, season 1 is so fucking good, but im hoping amazon gives them 12 episodes AT LEAST instead of 8 like srsly wats with streaming services giving everyone 8 episodes? (Dont answer tht question, it’s rhetorical). Super stoked for season 2 (of both hazbin hotel and pjo).

I've seen people speculate about this character, Roo, that has yet to debut in the show proper, so I thought I might as well share this with you. The character has been described by the creators as a "looming threat in the distance", and it's a common assumption among fans that "Roo" stands for "the root of all evil". With that in mind, I was thinking, wouldn't it make sense if she was actually Eve ? I mean, if what Charlie says about Hell in the first episode is true, the infernal realm as it is now was born when Eve ate the forbidden fruit. And yet, despite being the one who committed the original sin, the girl has been conspicuously absent from the narrative thus far. Now, if we take the sole depiction of Roo we have into account (assuming, of course, that it is indicative of what she'll eventually look like), one can see that her most distinctive features are her furiously monstrous mouth and tongue. Do you see where I'm going ? Since eating a fruit is what caused the fall of mankind, it’d (kind of) make sense for Eve’s potential demon form to emphasize those parts of her anatomy, as they were the instruments of the first sin...

I SO hope that Roo was there from the beginning, closer to God level. Evil and Chaos as the opposite to Good and Control.

Angels were shielding Earth from her influence. But Eve eating the apple allowed her in. And that's why she shares similar appearence to her.

Roo wants the chaos, she wants the rules to be broken. She wants to break the stagnant angelic ideals. I wouldn't mind God to appear, but yaknow, like a higher being of Light who discourages change.

I am curious about something.

Why Lilith's leaving Adam doesn't count as disobedience, but Eve accepting the forbidden fruit is?

I feel like both things aren't game changers by themselves.

The problem lays in the fruit itself.

Roo is Root of evil, the apple could have been poisoned with it. This one small crack was enough to slip to Earth.

I doubt Lucifer knew that.

Was HE tempted to give Eve free will this way only?(was she created with less free will since Lilith didn't need Lucifer's help?)

There are theories that the temptation role is played by Roo in hellaverse, so in a way SHE tempted Lucifer to 'tempt' Eve. (It's like Lucifer was punished for being tricked like how Eve in og was punished for being tricked.)

So, uh.... anyone gonna talk about the fact that the tree of knowledge is A) the only tree in the garden of Eden depicted as being red (which is associated with evil in this intro story) and B) the only tree with very visible ROOTS?!?

Like, the roots of all evil? Literally??

Alastor & Roo Theory

OKAY, HEAR ME OUT

Before Lilith was revealed to be in Heaven, we all thought that Alastor made a deal with her and that was the leash he was referring to. But, now that we know Lilith is in Heaven, there's a lower chance of it being her. While it COULD still be her, I want to play around with this theory.

What if the chain Alastor is under is Roo?

For those who don't know, Roo was an old OC Vivziepop made, and she was the root of all evil.

Originally I thought this concept was scrapped but in Hazbin Hotel, when Charlie talks about Heaven, she says that they "shielded all from evil" and when she says evil, a being with a face appears, which I think is Roo.

I think that Heaven was protecting itself from Roo, and when Lucifer gave Adam & Eve the apple, that set her free because it was someone actively disobeying Heaven, which planted her roots of evil into the physical world. Goes into the hole "planting the roots of evil" idea because it was a fruit given to Eve. A red fruit, the color associated with Roo, and with seeds in it, for the root of evil.

Perhaps Roo already lied in the fruit tree, which is why it's red. Perhaps it was her prison to keep her from gaining power and interfering with Earth, and Adam & Eve weren't allowed to touch it because doing so would bring evil. Heaven probably never explained to Lucifer why he shouldn't give them the apple because they're so used to blind obedience, but Lucifer was a thinker and thought that knowledge and free will would be a great gift for mankind, not knowing that Roo was the one lying in the tree.

And when Earth is shown to gain evil, the hand that surrounds it looks like literal roots.

Roo lied in the tree already, and Lucifer handing the apple to Eve is what set her, the Root of all Evil, free.

Hope I got my point across, I tend to have trouble saying my thoughts.

Why do I think it's Roo controlling Alastor? Right now, she's the only being powerful enough to overpower Alator that isn't Lucifer, Lilith, Charlie, The Sins, other Overlords, and The Goetias, as non of them seem to really cause any fear in Alastor. Sure, he hates Lucifer because he's more powerful than him, but that was more pettiness and not genuine fear, and Lucifer hadn't even met him before all of this! Sera wouldn't make a deal with a demon, and Emily wouldn't either. So, I think the one that he made a deal with was Roo.

Not sure how new this theory is. Looked it up and got an animatic made 2 weeks before I even thought of this. Absolutely love this animatic, please watch it. But, I really like this and I'm honestly so excited to see who is controlling Alastor.
